Fall Month: 3 
Day 
A gas leak in a nearby apartment spreads fast through the town and soon the whole world. The gas poisoned the air, turning people into horrid, unspeakable creatures. These creatures have distorted features, no longer human. Very few survive, if any at all.

The apocalypse has gone on for many years, many have lost their lives. Some taking others out just to keep themselves alive. In the end all humanity was wiped out. Surprisingly, few groups remain.
Small groups of people have banded together as they would not survive long alone. There are the smaller, weaker groups that prefer to hide and avoid incidents at any cost. Then, there are bigger, more powerful groups that stand their ground. These groups tend to last longer due to their more violent nature.The biggest groups meet, causing a war of the fittest. Slowly falling one by one, smaller groups getting wiped out in the crossfire.
One day there is a fall in the ranks. People start rebelling against their own. It becomes an everyone for themselves situation. In the crossfire, someone gets injured, but is still alive. A stranger, hesitant at first, decides to come to their aid. They band together temporarily, just until they can go on their own again. When it is time to separate, the hesitance is high. They decide to go their separate ways, as they agree it's for the best. It was the plan anyway. Will they stay apart or will they reunite one day for good.
