lol my mom is the same way. If it's a cactus, it has a much larger chance of surviving a while. Alas, I don't often go to the plant section of Walmart. I've definitely heard of moon cacti before though. I love their names!

On the far left is Edna, an Old Lady Cactus. Next to that is Starfire, a Red Moon Cactus graft. I forget what exactly it's grafted on, but Walmart sells tons of em, I'd be surprised if you hadn't seen one. After that is Clancy, a Rebutia or Carnival Cactus. And last on the list, and the far right, is Frannny and Furgy, two Bunny Ear Cacti

Lol, "the ones that survived" plants can be so difficult to keep alive. I think at this point me and my dad have become the plant people of my family. We're the only ones with any interest in plants and the ability--somehow--to keep them alive.
What kinds of cactus are they? The second one from the left looks familiar but I can't quite place it.

Since we're on the topic of plants, here's mine. Had it for a few years but I wasn't the one originally taking care of it. The original plant wasn't doing too great but we were able to save a bit of it and now it's my plant baby :3 It's a christmas cactus.

Nadia has always been on the short side, only coming up to around 5'1" in height. She's got a curvy but fit body with her weight being about 115 pounds. She has fair skin with rosy hues highlighting her nose and cheeks faintly. Her eyes are doe-like and grey in color. Her lashes are long and thick, perfect for batting. She has plump lips that almost always look a little bit pouty. Her hair is a warm brown color and ends at her waist in subtle waves. In the sunlight, red toned natural highlights can be seen in her hair.

Personality:

Nadia is more quiet and reserved than most. It wouldn't be a far stretch to say that she is shy either, but it doesn't take long for her to come out of her shell once she gets comfortable. She can be very playful and flirty at times, often enjoying to joke around with others. Shes extremely caring and protective towards those she cares about, never hesitating to do what it takes to make sure that they are okay.

Malachi is a healthy gelding that stands around 17.1 hands with a sleek true black coat. He has white socks on his front feet and a dot of white on his nose. His mane and tail are that same dark black color, often growing rather thick and long in no time.

Temperment:

Balanced. Malachi is a very sweet horse with a typically calm and collected attitude. He does have moments of spunk where he gets rowdy and playful, but he usually knows when to reel it back in and calm down.

Alex stands around 6'7 and weighs around 199. He looks fairly scrawny but to most people's shock he is stronger than most. He has a deep tan making his dirty blonde hair stand out. His hair lays past his shoulders so he braids it like Athenas braids. Alex eyes are a startling sea blue that he hides behind a hat as he works.

Personality

Alex is very outgoing and loves to make jokes. He is usually seen either helping someone or grooming his horse's mane. He can be closed off not really letting anyone and makes sure not to trust anyone even though he always smile. When someone breaks through his defenses he is very sweet and kind. He will protect someone he cares for even if that means he gets hurt himself.

Appearance

Athena has a hazel base color with hints of grey and white in the undertones. They have white spotted pattern along their hindquarters and back legs. Athen also has a white star on her head while her mane is a soft chestnut brown. Her tail is usually braided neatly as well as her mane. She is 15.3 hands and is around 900 pounds making her fairly small for her breed.

Temperament

Athena is a very aggressive horse and let's no one near her. She can be sweet with those she allows to ride her and nasty with those she doesn't. She is well known for knocking people of her back and rude to other horses. She is also mischievous and gets into alot of trouble when she is hungry.
