River looked up, a sleeping Rayne snoring in the back of the tent. "Oh, he'll be excited about this haul." She then tilted her head at the Manta Ray Tail in Ocean's bag. "Oh, can I buy this from you as well? Rayne will want to make an antidote for whatever comes out of that barb, Milo will want those red and white mushrooms. Did you hear the bell? Adira huffed and approached the two wolves, almost tripping over her tail on the way. "I seem to have caught something," she grinned steadying herself. |

Rayne tilted his head as Adira walked in and quickly backed away as she approached him. "Oh yea... your eyes are bright orange. How long did you stay out there after you caught it?!" He asked frantically, racing to his shelving and preparing a remedy as she sat there. "The next stage of this illness is paralysis! Ypu would have been stuck out there if you'd stayed much longer." Rayne then put 2 bottles on the counter for her. "Drink this as soon as possible, then run back to your room and take a shower with this like it's shampoo. You should be okay after a day or so of rest." -You've spent 10 pinecones!- You will return to full health after a full day or after you sleep for a couple hours. (You can do this by going to your room and saying you slept for a couple hours and your HP will return to full, or you can go about small tasks around Glowmire and your HP will slowly replenish as you to) He then tilted his head at the green glow from her bag and looked a bit closer, gasping with a smile as he realized what it was. "You found a Coatyl Egg?!" Excitedly he grabbed some crystals and brought them out. "I can hatch it for you here or I'll buy it from you for 100 pinecones." |

"Thank you!" She nervously laughed trying to remember how long she had it, "well I guess luck was on my side!" Adira then pulled out the large green egg, "speaking of luck, I have this. Could you hatch it for me?" |

Rayne nodded happily and quickly set the crystals in a small circle and pointed to the center of it. "Place the egg there, won't you? We'll wake him up, was there a mother nearby? If she's infected who knows how long he's been asleep." He chuckled. As the egg was placed down, he spoke a few words and he let a small drop of water fall from his Canteen and hit the eggshell. After a moment, a shrill screeching started up, soon broken by a thunderous crack which made the eggshell explode in all directions. After the dust settled, a small creature writhed around on the ground. He looked like a scaled worm, no arms or legs, but with two, beautiful wings on his back, already feathered a bit but sure to grow. He was hunter green and yellow in color, with bright blue eyes, four of them! -You've Tamed a River Coatyl!- You'll have to name him soon! Rayne then quickly looked back to Adira with a stormy expression. "These big creatures don't get table scraps. You start giving them everything they ask for and they'll never leave anyone in town alone when they get bigger, then we got a huge problem on our hands. Understand?" Rayne explained seriously. |

Adira nodded in response. "You hear that? No table scraps for you," she cooed softly, holding the worm- like creature in her paws. She turned back to Rayne, smiling, "I'll name him Mayo." |
