He felt a lot less enthusiastic about his meager offering now that Nightingale might catch some real food. If she did, then he supposed he might as well just eat it. Stars above, was he hungry. Bone | M | Pack Member | M: Sartaq Bone nodded. "You are doing well holding pack together. Times are difficult," he reassured Sartaq. If there was already a hunting party out, he figured there wasn't much need to hunt, at least for now. |

Caspian | Male | Beta | M: Nighttigale, Wanderer He waged his tail. "Oooh now I'm even more curious" He said playfully, glancing around for prey. There should be SOMETHING living around here. This place is as good as dead. He sturred the dust with his paws, anixous. The heat was nice, but it was really getting to him. Resources were running low, and the pack wouldn't last very long if they ran out of prey and water. They really needed a plan. They couldn't let they're pack starve! He didn't want to let night know how much he was concerned about the pack. What if she thinks that I think of her as a bad alpha? She's a great alpha! We're just going through really tough times. She'll find a way to fix it. She always does! She's always been beside me through my hardest times, so i should always be there for her. Besides she has Saraq with her! He could light up a bit but I guess that's what she likes about him. Though he is grumpy most of the time. I'll try to be nicer to him. Caspina realised he had gotten lost in thought and focused on night again. "Sorry, what were you saying?" |

I ran my shoulder in to my brother's and laught. "Try to focus, hunt leader." No prey is in sight, and we have to bring back something. |

Sartaq - M - Alpha - Mention(s): Coriander, Bone, NPC (ind: Nightingale) ~ Sartaq smiled at Bone. "Thanks," he said - not really knowing what else to say, he inwardly thought. Not in a bad way, but - Bone had caught him off guard. He didn't fail to notice that Coriander had unenthusiastically dropped the lizard, like he was unsure what to do with it. Sartaq judged Coriander for a moment. Right now, he was no better off than any of us - lanky, probably semi-starved. "You can eat it if you want... I don't think Night will mind," Sartaq added at Coriander, in a kinder tone. It was his prey caught, after all, and he was already being awfully kind to give it to Nightingale. Sartaq scanned camp once more. There were the others, at the other end of camp, and everyone seemed to be there... then it clicked. Winston was missing. Sartaq looked around camp once more, double-checking. Yes, he was simply not there. Sartaq checked once more, a third time. Where the heck was he? |

Coriander | M | Pack Member | M: Sartaq Coriander hesitated, then wagged his tail and ate the lizard. It was small enough to finish in just a bite or two. He tried to savor it, but before he knew it he had finished. His tail lowered in disappointment.
Bone | M | Pack Member | M: Coriander Bone shoved down feelings of jealousy as he watched Coriander eat the lizard. Coriander was the one to catch it, after all. He hoped the hunting party would bring back some prey, but it was very likely that they'd all be sharing a single rabbit. He sighed and layed on the dry earth. |

"that's awesome!" he bounced up and down, stirring the dust under his paws. Caspian stop it. we'll never find prey if you cover all it's tracks with dust. He scolded himself internally, and he stopped bouncing. but he couldn't wipe the grin off his face. |

With more mouths, that means more food. And there's barely enough for the pack right now... She fluffed her neck fur up and continued on. |

Okay, where the hell did Winston go? Sartaq checked the place one last time. Sure enough - Winston was missing. He simply wasn't there.
Winston was one of the extremely pro-move over the mountains. Sartaq had given him more than an earful for disturbing Nightingale and himself about why they really had to move out of their hunting grounds.
And now he was gone. Sartaq had a slightly sick feeling in his stomach. Did he...
Sartaq turned to both Coriander and Bone. Maybe they knew. Sartaq didn't want what he thought had happened to be true - there was no way...
