Looking for a couple RP partners! I got the idea bug and have a bit of spare time on my hands, so here we are. I prefer forums, but I can do PMs, too.

About Me

• My responses are generally 500-1k words, give or take a few; I am slowly but surely increasing my word count, but for now, I'd still consider myself semi-literate.

• My internet will be spotty through June and probably early July. Monsoon season has also started (early this year, lol), which may impact response times, but I do try and get a good reply out at least a couple times a week. I'm on sporadically throughout the day.

• AZ time zone. I'm either two hours behind GT or three, depending on the time of year.

• I love action plots. I'm not much one for sci-fi or futuristic settings, but I'm willing to try them. I tend to stick to medieval or other early time periods, fantasy or not. I do also do animals.

• I can play male or female, and I'm comfortable with either. If there's romance, I will only do MxF pairings, as that is what I am comfortable with and confident in my abilities to portray.

• I hate stepping on people's metaphorical toes and am amiable, so unless you tell me to be bolder in my plot choices, I'm usually going to default to you. On that note, I love plotting and world building, and I'd like to talk to you outside of the RP thread/messages as well. :)

• For world building: I know there's a way to use ToyHouse for this, but I've never done it. If someone has and wants to use that, I'm down.

Some Plot Ideas

None of them have to be romance, though I think most would be pretty easy to turn into one. All of them are vague, too, so there's plenty of room to change things around.

1. An heir to a crumbling kingdom survives an assassination attempt, unaware that their would-be killer hesitated and spared their life. Now, that same assassin is forced into their service under a false identity, either by accident or design.

2. After leading an army to war against a powerful demon and its forces, a ruler is cursed by the defeated demon to live in the body of a dragon for eternity. Shunned by their terrified subjects, the ruler vanishes, leaving the kingdom to the next successor. As the battle fades into legend, a child is born with uncanny knowledge of the past, and the demon returns to threaten the kingdom once again. The child (who may be teenaged or grown up or whatever) is discovered to have a connection to the cursed ruler and sets out to find them. The dragon reluctantly agrees to help this mortal and they set off to defeat the demon once and for all.

3. Every decade, a village offers a tithe to the local witch to ensure good harvests and barter for protection. This year, the chosen tithe is a defiant young man/woman who quickly learns the witch isn’t what they seem. As their bond deepens, so does the danger -- something dark stirs in the forest beyond.

4. (Potentially more than two characters) A group of exiles, deserters, and criminals form a mercenary band during a great war. Each hides a past or secret mission. The plot follows the group navigating warzones, old grudges, moral compromise, and the growing sense that they were all brought together for a darker reason.

5. A notorious necromancer raises a fallen hero from the dead, thus binding that hero to them. While the hero has to come to terms with their death and subsequent revival, they are also made to follow the necromancer's orders, many of which have morally questionable or outright despicable outcomes. As the hero fights to break free of the magical bond, the necromancer fights their increasing guilt and is having second thoughts about world domination/revenge/etc.

6. A kingdom is haunted by its dead ruler -- literally. Their life was cut short under mysterious circumstances after having begun an investigation into suspicious happenings around the kingdom. The spirit walks the palace, speaking only to one person (servant, guard, random kid, etc). Together they uncover a conspiracy, but the more they dig, the more dangerous it becomes.
