The piece for Ayu was a really nice lil break inbetween all the grinding, it was a lot of fun to do!

Here's some classwork! Some of the development process for this guy :]
He's for one of my classes, obviously, but I might allllso use him in an upcoming project, heh.

The start of designing any character - thumbnails!
These very rough silhouettes get the initial ideas down and stop me from getting caught up in any details. Usually, I'd do muuuch more than this but alas, I didn't have enough time.


After that, we picked #5 and developed him a lil further to get a base outfit down. I combined the left ones :] and a lil bit of the top right.



After that, a few colour and material iterations!



Usually, I'd do a full character sheet from here but I,, did not have enough time. So we jumped straight from picking #3 into thumbnails for the final piece! I picked #2 :]



Annnd from there, right into the final piece. Tragically I had to forgo colour due to my lack of time
