Velaris is a tall, slender built wolf, standing at about 29 ½ inches at the shoulder. He has jet-black, long silky fur. He prides himself in his appearance, keeping his head held high and his shoulders straightened. He has a long, thin muzzle concealing razor-sharp canines. He has tall, angular ears studded with silver jewelry. Velaris has a long, feathery tail that betrays his emotions much more than he’d like. He has central heterochromia, a ring of icy blue around his pupils and sapphire blue coloring the rest of his iris. He has a silvery white marking on his chest, mimicking the shape of an upside-down crescent moon. He may be slim, but he is quite strong. Perhaps he would be better suited to be a hunter, but Velaris opted for the quiet, docile life of a healer.

Personality -

Distant. He keeps himself closed off unless he is forced to open up, and even then each word is carefully thought over and evaluated. He has problems with trust, having seen and heard too much to fully believe anything or anyone anymore. His voice is a quiet, sweet tone, higher than one would expect from a male wolf. He easily loses himself to his own thoughts, often found muttering or humming away in his den while arranging herbs and remedial potions. He rarely tells someone what they want to hear, even if the news he bears is the worst one can receive. Unofficial and self-proclaimed prophet and seer of the pack, Velaris is a strong believer in the divine and fate, earning him a few judgmental glances from his packmates. He adores the stars and the celestial, and will watch the skies at night for hours when given the opportunity.

Appearance:

A large male wolf with broad shoulders and a muscular frame that tiptoes back and forth on the line of bulkiness. He's built for stamina and strength rather than his mate, who is built delicately, and for speed and agility. Standing 34 inches at the shoulder, Tyrin is larger than an average male gray wolf and his coat only makes him appear larger and more intimidating. His thick coat may appear matted in some places, specifically around his neck, stomach, and legs, because of the sheer amount of fur there actually is. Like his beloved mate, Tyrin sports a hefty double coat that is another weight on his shoulders. While it may be helpful in the winter months, having such a thick coat can prove difficult in the summer. The majority of the fur itself is a black color with light grey highlights strewn throughout. His paws are a dark brown, and that goes for his underbelly and the underside of his tail as well. His eyes are a dark green and his voice is deep and baritoning.
