Unlike the rest of the Brigh family, Deirdre does not possess the ability to conjure and wield fire. This has led to some tension within the family; while healing magic is rarer, the Brighs see it as less useful than fire magic.

Appearance

Like most of her family, Deirdre's most striking feature is her fiery red hair; straight and silky, she keeps it cut just above her shoulders to avoid the hassle of constantly maintaining it. She will occasionally braid it into two small pigtails to pull it out of her face, but rarely does much else with it in terms of styling.

Deirdre's skin is naturally pale, but has picked up a slight tan from her time spent outdoors back home. During the winter months, it becomes very fair once again. Light brown freckles are scattered across her cheeks, legs, and arms.

'Seafoam' is probably the best term to describe the color of Deirdre's eyes. They are not quite green, but not quite blue either, hovering somewhere in the middle instead. Her eyes are bright and almond-shaped, with long lashes and thick brows.

Deirdre has strong, striking features, not delicate by any means. Her nose is straight and sharp, and her cheekbones are set high on her face. Her lips are full and plump with a prominent cupid's bow. Her face is angular in shape, giving her a sharp jawline and chin. While her features work well together, hers is more of an intense beauty rather than conventional attractiveness.

Deirdre stands at about 5'6 and has a lean, muscular body type.

Personality

The most important thing in Deirdre's life is her family. She grew up with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives, so having a large but tight-knit family is something that's important to her. She is extremely loyal to her loved ones and has no qualms about putting herself in harm's way to help them. She considers her closest friends to be her family as well and extends this treatment to them.

Deirdre is also very hard-working and determined. While she is close with her family, they frequently express their disappointment in her lack of fire-based abilities. For most of her life, she has worked tirelessly to perfect her healing abilities to compensate for her 'missing' power. She is remarkably talented and capable in healing magic as a result of this dedication, but still often feels like it isn't enough for her family.

Deirdre's creativity and intelligence are two of her notable traits as well. The Brighs have not had a healer born into the family for several generations. Since most of them have fire-based abilites, they spend a lot of time practicing together and passing along advice; Deirdre, however, had no family members to instruct her as she mastered her healing abilities. She refused to let this hinder her magical development - she taught herself most of the ins and outs of her abilities, and this feat earned her a spot at Donatus.

A withering touch - Lilith was blessed, or cursed, with the horrifying power to kill things with her touch. Smaller creatures and plants are impacted more, though humans and larger creatures can feel the adverse effects of this "Withering touch". Due to this she is almost always covered up, head to toe, to avoid injuring others.
Her magic has also greatly impacted her own health.

Appearance:

Lilith is a frail young woman, possibly even having stunted growth due to the nature of her powers. She'll never get over the scandal of her hair already greying by age eight - nevermind the fact her family does not let her dye it. She is incredible thin, with her dull grey uniform hanging loosely on her delicate limbs.

She has dark skin, which makes her white hair and even sharper contrast. She also bruises easily, and has dark bags under her eyes giving her and overall sickly appearance. Lilith is a bit old fashioned, opting to straighten her hair, despite the newer movement to embrace natural hair textures. She also accesorises carefully - wearing a large brimmed sunhat to protect, or maybe cover, her telltale golden eyes as well as a pair of gloves to cover her hands. She never takes off her hands, but if she did she has bony fingers- near skeletal, that fade to a dark grey at the tips.
