Rising Shadows said: I didn't think that through, so I am totally open to ideas on that Argos said: Also, Rising, sorry if I missed this, but how are shaman apprentices chosen? I am curious if during the RP we could have another Shaman's Apprentice from one of the pups in the tribe.
Okay, here are some ideas: 1) Shaman chooses 2) Dead dogs tell Shaman who to be the next Shaman 3) Alpha chooses 4) Aptitude test at the re-naming age 5) The 2 shamans choose 6) The alpha's child 7) The Shaman's child

@Shadow How does an older half brother that's a yorki, min pin, and german hunting terrier sound?

I think it be cool, for some Shaman drama, if the Oak Shamans claimed that the ash apprentice died because either they were chosen wrong, or that the sign for them to become apprentice was fake(d). If that makes sense.

Ooo, that does make sense....I can make Bryn personally close to the apprentice and his/her family (we should probably make a character sheet for them, including family)

Personally I think the dead dogs should tell the Shaman who will be next :)

Argos said: Shadow_Wolf, So Mora is a loyal, caring, social animal and Cawls is friendly, but is insecure about his body. I'm thinking that she probably came up to him when he was alone and they connected well. She's 5 and he's 2.5 years old, but dogs usually don't have major age gaps when it comes with befriending each other. --- High Hills, awesome! They'd probably fit as half siblings fairly well, connected by their father. If you want we can discuss further
True maybe I can change her age or something....

I'm also curious about what to do with Sage's spiritual connection. Maybe she could use that, at first, for her own group before maturing and trying to actually make peace like a decent Shaman (or Shaman Apprentice) should?
