I'll have the pleasure of rereading everything tonight so I get back into the swing of wielding Constance. So I'm excited. No, not out of character at all for the psychopathic lovely knight. It is my day off tomorrow, so just maybe I'll have the vigor to write out a reply... maybe ;)

Alright, done! Honestly, I'm looking forward to playing out more of Constance's childish behavior... especially if he can't get his way with something in the future. *Tantrum alert* Also~ I added a potential future conflict for the plot hinted in the beginning of my post. If we pursue playing off of a 'paranoid King', maybe down the line one of the obstacles could be a mercenary, or mercenaries, advancing on the pair? Or something different. I just wanted to leave a window of opportunity open, but by no means do we have to go through with it.

Ahaha, I love it! We needed some good biscuit-throwing in here :) Yeah, that sounds like a good plan! After all, there's bound to be some consequences to them vanishing without a trace. They were also seen in the tavern and leaving town, but nobody knows what they were up to, so I'm sure the dear old king will be riddled with wild paranoia.

Indeed we did need a sprinkle of biscuit-throwing action. It was fun to write XD. Yesss! That's exactly what I was thinking. The "suspicious" behavior at the tavern, then leaving would raise huge red flags for the King. It would be a good time for anyone on the Anti-Constance wagon to start stirring up rumors too once it starts to become obvious he's not patrolling like he usually does. Oh boy, it will be quite the storm brewing back home. But the threat of mercenaries advances the plot forward with obstacles so... I don't feel bad lol. Plus, eventually, depending on how the quest goes and what Constance experiences along the way, I'm thinking of potentially throwing him a small redemption arc for the sake of character growth. You know, maybe he might actually act like a human being from time to time rather than a sadistic blood lusting psycho. We'll see :)

Yeah, we definitely have to include mercenaries! Potentially or especially if there comes a time when Constance is no longer willing to put up with Vim, but the threat forces them to stick together. There are so many possibilities with mercenaries and what could happen with that. Redemption arcs are great fun to play, so yeah, go ahead! I very much look forward to seeing what plot points spark some growth in Constance. Being so out of his element might provide a ton of opportunities to not be a murdery terror. Maybe :)

Alright, it's settled then! Mercenaries are coming their way mwahaha! Actually, yes, that would work perfect. Just when Constance is on the verge of being completely done with Vim, and then the dilemma forces them to stick together. I like it! I can already imagine Constance getting injured or something during an encounter with a mercenary, and Vim attempting to be decent by offering him help, and then Constance being an absolute brat. XD I love redemption arcs, so I'll definitly work that into what I'll be doing with Constance. True, the opportunities will be abunadant, so I'll have a bit to work with. He might still be a little bit of a murdery terror on occasion, just enough to keep it interesting.

I'm shaking in my boots :) That is an excellent plan. That way I can let Vim piss Constance off just a little without him being murdered to death. I mean, not that I think you would murder my character to death. It'd be a very lonely roleplay for you then. But be threatened with being murdered to death. I can't wait to see more bratty Constance. If he gets too bratty, and he's injured enough, Vim might just be bratty back. I suppose we shall see what transpires. And I agree, I think a redemption arc with a fair amount of terrorness is just right. I mean, you can take your time, because I have no idea how long this will last but I'm hoping a long time.

I know, it's so excellent! Well, if Vim continues to provoke Constance, I think it will make for some interesting situations. But of course, I'll keep Constance on his invisible leash, and in so I will not allow him to murder Vim. Indeed it would be a lonely roleplay, and quite frankly I like Vim too much to let Constance kill him lol. Please, Constance needs someone to be bratty back to him. Honestly, I would love to see that as well. And believe me, Constance can get very bratty. I do plan on taking my time with it, growth takes time after all. And I too hope this will last quite a long time as well :)

I think it will indeed become an even more interesting roleplay as time goes on, even though I already love it so much. I appreciate your allowing Vim to live. I love playing alive characters. Just a weird quirk I have :) I also love Constance, he's such a unique character and so much fun to write interactions with. Vim will 100% be bratty once he feels he has the control to pull off brattiness. Or if Sir Constance threatens him one too many times and he gets tired of it. We have such good times ahead of us! I'm gonna try to get a post out very quickly, like, within three days, because then your reply will come sooner, and then my next one will come sooner, and on and on!

I've loved this roleplay since my first post.^^ Your ideas originally are what led to me being inspired enough to create a creature like Constance after all. Indeed, admittedly playing alive characters is a quirk of mine as well. Unless you wanted Vim to one up Constance one day by dying, and haunting him for the rest of his days :) Constance can't kill and threaten what's already dead lol. I'm glad you like Constance as well, he's certainly one of my favorite characters out of all of my babies. I'm so looking forward to the moment Vim first becomes bratty, Constance's reaction will be priceless. Take your time of course though with replying! :) ~ I also pinned your post with the maps under our character sheets, in case you're ever looking for it. I forgot to pin it when you first posted it, but the task is done now! Edited at September 1, 2022 03:10 PM by Edling
