Mutations/birth defects (missing limbs, siamese tiwns, extra limbs, etc) , certain aesthetics, moodboards, mixed dog breeds (like one half that breed and the other one this breed) , jobs (chef, miner, doctor, etc), school subjects, hobbies and history time periods

Hmm what about natural design & color pelted ones? Those would look great on the wolf lines you have currently ^^

Customs maybe? The person can choose a palette and idea and have you create something off of that?
And if no one has suggested, skeleton/bone ones. So you could have bones showing or even like a layer of bones over the wolf's fur?

This is a bit in the future, but for October you should definitely go for a skull theme :)
