Well, that goes down to personal taste, most times artists go with what they prefer because people who come to an art shop should stay because they like your style/look/art. Or you could offer different line arts with examples to cater to more people. |

Well, head placing has everything to do with the neck. If the head is at an awkward angle, the neck makes it appear realistic. If you are trying to draw a twisted neck, draw the top half, then the bottom half of the inside and bring it into the top of the neck, then trim the line down so it looks like a crease in the skin as the bones move. Then connect the base of the cheeks with the spot slightly inside where the neck would be if not twisted.
