Name: Koshin meaning: delicate flower bud Age: Four Gender: Stallion; male Herd: Bachelor Group: Band Two Rank: Bachelor Appearance: There is nothing special about Koshin, not in personality, and certainly not in appearance. Even his name is humiliating. For starters, he stands at 15 hands, often smaller than even a mare, and not to mention his wonky and lithe frame. In terms of muscle, Koshin may as well have none. He's awkward, he's thin, he has no muscle mass, hell, he has the body of a foal. In terms of his colour, he is a simple bay with white and dark brown socks. The only somewhat unique thing about him is the single stripe running down his head. Both his tail and mane are black/dark brown, as are his eyes. He has several scars upon his body due to being unable to defend himself properly. His voice is high-pitched and rather ugly.. Almost squeaky in a sense and often cracks. It's best if he stays silent. Personality: Koshin is nothing special. He knows that. All he's doing is simply.. existing. He doesn't contribute to anything, not that he can. In fact, the stallion is rather useless, but he tries. However, whenever he does, it typically ends in failure. Koshin has bad luck. In a sense, he's cursed. Nothing he does turns out the way he wants, and many see him as a nuisance. I mean, who wouldn't? He's clumsy and awkward, and can hardly walk without tripping. He's nothing but spare luggage. No, not even that. Worse. He's like trash on the street. Nah, probably worse, whatever that may be. One good thing about him is that he's determined. No matter what happens, he'll get back up again. Though that seems to be the only good thing he has going for him. He lets others walk all over him, doesn't speak up for himself, and if a physical fight breaks out? Oh boy. He stops, drops, and practically curls up into a ball. Koshin is too nice in that sense. He'll take beatings for others and always take the blame for anything. He refuses to confront another because, well, he's also shy. He doesn't trust others easily either. Koshin has a bad history with trust. He is the outcast among his brothers, and, well, they don't treat him very nicely. But Koshin takes it because they're his brothers, and he'd do anything for them, even if the feeling isn't mutual. What else could he do? In a sense, he's loyal in that way. Somebody could harm him and put him through constant torture, and still, he'd return with a smile on his face. He's like a dog that way, always running back even if its tail is between its legs. Koshin is pretty smart. At least he thinks so. Being forced to remain silent makes ones imagination really flow. He has pretty intelligent thoughts because of that, not that he ever says them because his voice is annoying. Many are more focused on how he sounds rather than what he has to say, so Koshin keeps quiet. He's also a good storyteller, if only anybody would listen to him. Or notice him.. But hey, he's happy! Name: Coia Age: 4.5 months Gender: Filly Herd: Imani Herd Group: Group 3 Rank: foal Appearance: While she is currently only about 14hh, she will wind up at about 17.2hh, following in the footsteps of her sire (Chex). She will tower above many, though her personality might make her seem a bit smaller than she is. Her build is already showing signs of athletic abilities. She will be well toned, but not too physically strong. Meanwhile, her legs and lithe build will give her incredible speed. Her head is finely shaped, though not pointed. Her ears are delicate, with a slight curve inwards towards each other. Her eyes are large and cool, dark brown, matching the rest of her build's coloring. There is a medium-sized star on her forehead, the only part of her that displays any white at all. Her hooves are all dark to match the rest of her aesthetic. While she doesn't and never will bulk up too much, no matter how much she eats, as she will have a fast metabolism, she usually manages to maintain a healthy weight, though it's a struggle. 
Personality: Reserved - Intelligent - Curious - Affectionate - Wise - Cautious - Playful - Optimist This filly has a docile nature, overall, but she isn't one to allow others to push her around. She is rather reserved, refraining from being too pushy or bold. However, this isn't to take away from her confidence. She has a natural confidence, which allows her to remain quiet while maintaining her dignity and poise. This is one reason that she's an intelligent individual. Her watchful eye takes in everything around her, which has led to a good amount of experience and insight on her part. She can make a good call in most situations if given the opportunity. However, she isn't one to speak up without being asked. Unless, of course, she is put into a leadership position. Her ability to take in everything around her leads her to be rather wise as she gains experience. With every experience, she gains knowledge, and her impeccable memory will help her use what was learned in future situations. This being said, she also isn't one to look at situations where she made a mistake and focus on her downfalls. Instead, she looks at it as an opportunity to do better in the future. Even though on the quieter side, this mare is very affectionate. While it's mostly physical, such as head rubs and little playful nips, she is also one to offer an encouraging word or two where she sees fit. Many would think she is rather mature, considering how young she is. She is very mature for how young she is, but she's still a filly, and will act her age often enough. They often say that curiosity killed the cat. Fortunately, however, this cat is reserved, and treats her savage curiosity responsibly. Well, as responsibly, as you can really expect from a filly. She will often think her actions through before going through with them, but she has her compulsive moments like the best of us. 
Affiliations: Adela - Her dam. She feels very close to her mother, as they have been inseparable since her birth. She sticks very close to her mother, which is why they weren't separated in the blizzard. Chex - Though he's her sire, and she loves him as a herd mate, she isn't sure that she feels a special bond with this stallion. He's always been kind to her, but she hasn't gotten to know him well.
