It's smart punctuation in your device. If you go to keyboard settings in your device settings and turn off smart punctuation, it should fix the issue

Edit: my bad for thinking they were crayons (I might be spending too much time seeing the chirstmas cards I gave my family that I colored with crayons 7 years ago)
