Luck luck luck! I have to apply to new places. I've been put on babysitting duty at my job without being asked. My job is to clean a school, not manage someone who is 7 years older than me but 8 years less mature. I'm part time, I shouldn't be training or babysitting. And I hate the lack of communication

The place I worked at is a small town restaurant. Still open, and all the old folks still eat there. I put in my two weeks when I heard the waitresses were doing major 'substances' while working. I was paid under the table when I first started, but I did officially work there by the time I left

I used to work in a place like that - real shady, no paperwork, poorly managed. a few of us left after an incident in the workplace and the place got shut down soon after because no one actually cleaned besides us LOL

I worked as a busser, and that kitchen was nasty, but there was also stuff going on behind the scenes. My boyfriend worked in a couple different kitchens, and they were only clean because he would spend all his free time scrubbing. I'm not saying all are that dirty, because what you're describing is horrendous, and I also used to live in a pretty rural area. I feel like clean resturants are only like that because one or two people care to keep it clean (again, not saying all. Some have great staff that actually try their best and care about food safety)
