Name: Solana - Sol A Spanish name for sunshine Age: 10 years Gender: Mare, Female Herd: Great Herd - Previously in Kai's Harem Rank: Herd Mare Appearance: This mare has a solid height of 15 hands and has an average weight of about 800 pounds. She has a solid build, but not enough to make her size look intimidating or gangly. In fact, her carriage and figure are more elegant and coordinated. Her walk is a bit quicker though still appearing to be 'smooth', though a slight hop or bounce will occasionally interrupt it. Sol's coat is a light dapple grey color, it grows steadily darker as it works its way down both her front and back legs, turning her front two more of a dark grey. It almost seems to be a pastern like marking in different lighting. This mare does not have any other prominent markings other than a small snip on the middle of her muzzle, which appears to be almost an off white or tan color. Overall her coat is a healthy one, with a short, glossy appearance, feeling smooth to the touch. Any dirt or dust will be apparent on her coat, due to her light coat, making it harder to be kept clean, though she manages. Sol usually carries herself with confidence, head held high and neck arched slightly, though will relax and lower her head when if it falters. Her eyes, planted evenly on either side of her face, are a dark brown color, and in some cases, almost appearing to be black. Black lashes are fixed right above her dark orbs and she has no other markings surrounding them, other than a few small, darker grey patches. Sol's mane is of medium length, with dark brown coloring in contrast to her light coat, and it is a bit courser than the rest of her. This mare's tail is also in similar color and texture, though it grows lighter, to a light brown and then almost tan color. She does have a few small scars, barely visible with her light coat, just from roughhousing from when she was younger, or minor injuries, but none are worth noting. In the colder months, Sol's winter coat will grow out to be a slightly lighter color than her current one, though there will be not much of a difference. This mare's voice is a bit lower than most and sounds quite smooth, with some rare stutters. Personality: A few words may come to mind when thinking about this mare and some may be contradicting. She tends to have a bit of a personality flip around certain horses, with those she may not necessarily like, Sol will be a bit rougher or sarcastic with them. But around respected mares or those with foals, she tends to be gentler, and softer in her actions, so you can see how some may have different opinions on her. This mare could also be considered 'mysterious', Sol only lets you see what she wants you to see, and chooses what to reveal, and when she wants to do it. Though Sol will always trust and be real with close friends and her sister. Sol believes that she is able to take care of herself and her own problems, so it is harder for her to accept help, though eventually if you're the right horse and you're persistent, she will. While this mare is social, that doesn't mean she necessarily trusts the horses she speaks with, other than her older sister Krevila and Áine, who she had been in a harem previously with. She is also generally confident, especially with her decisions, though she won't be to stubborn about changing her mind if someone else has a better idea. Sol can also be a calm, collected, creature at times, minding herself, and holding back the first thing to come to her mind, and her temper really isn't that bad at all. She's slow to anger, though if you start pushing her buttons and riling her up, her exasperated side starts to come out. Her irritation will be clear in the flattening of her ears, in her stance, or will be shown with a quick nip to the rump. Sol' may even verbally express it if she feels the need, if worst comes to worst, you'll earn a well-placed kick to the rump, but it shouldn't come to that. While she isn't generally like this, if she is still processing something hard, or not having the best morning, it may come out a bit easier. When it comes to stallions, Sol is quite picky, she was just fine with Kai, back when she was in his harem. But she still hasn't gotten used to the new lead stallion, she just has this weird feeling about him, which eventually turned into a lack of respect as the weeks went on, and she started to see what he was truly like. Though she is wise enough not to show it around him. This mare also hasn't had the best relationships with stallions previously, so trust may not come quickly. Since Sol has a bit of a distaste for the lead stallion, she is considering leaving eventually but doesn't want to leave her sister behind either. In fact, she's a bit afraid to take off with a new stallion since she doesn't recall a time where she and her sister were not in the same herd or harem. There's also the fact that she could end up leaving with some total jerk only wanting her for the chance at a foal, so who knows if she'll actually leave. Name: Cahira Irish origin, meaning woman warrior Age: 5 Gender: Female Herd:m The Reeks Herd Rank: Herd Mare Desired Rank: Herd Mare Appearance: This mare has a solid height of 15 hands and has an average weight of about 800 pounds. She has a solid build, but not enough to make her size look intimidating or gangly. In fact, her carriage and figure are more elegant and coordinated. Her walk is a bit quicker though still appearing to be 'smooth', though a slight hop or bounce will occasionally interrupt it. Cahira's coat is black, though currently appears sunbleached, making it appear closer to brown. She has a white blaze down the middle of her face, along with two half socks on her back legs, and a half pastern on her front right leg. She has no other markings or scars. Overall her coat is a healthy one, with a short, glossy appearance, feeling smooth to the touch. Her eyes, planted evenly on either side of her face, are a dark brown color, and in some cases, almost appearing to be black. Black lashes are fixed right above her dark orbs and she has no other markings surrounding them, other than a few small, darker grey patches. Cahira's mane is shorter in length and appears black during the winter and spring. It will lighten up to more of a light brown in the summer. This mare's tail is also in similar color and texture, though when her coat is sunbleached the tips of it tend to be a lighter brown color. In the winter her coat will grow out a bit longer and darken back up. This mare's voice is a bit lower than most and sounds quite smooth, with some rare stutters. Any Injuries: This mare is injury-free and in good health as of now. Personality: This mare is quite easy-going and easy to talk to, she'll listen to what you have to say and keep the topic light. Cahira has a slight temper, though this mare is mostly level-headed and respects the decisions of those above her, though if she does get riled up she becomes more of a 'Hollaback girl'. With no desire to actually kick their ass, though will kind of flip around stallions, tending to be a bit rougher or sarcastic in her way of expressing her friendship. She doesn't want to get too friendly with any or come across as giving any romantic intentions, this mare is honestly just here to be 'one of the stallions'. Having foals isn't necessary her top priority. But around respected mares or those with foals, she tends to be gentler, and softer in her actions. This mare could also be considered 'mysterious', Cahira only lets you see what she wants you to see, and chooses what to reveal, and when she wants to do it. Not really opening up to just anyone either. She also believes that she is able to take care of herself and her own problems, so it is harder for her to accept help, though eventually if you're the right horse and you're persistent, she will. Crush: In RP Offspring: Hmm Other: I think that coming back off of my little hiatus, seven characters will be too much to start, I still need time to water my pumpkin plants so I don't want to start with too many aha. Name: Cletus Greek, "illustrious; called forth, invoked" Age: Eleven and a half years Gender: Male Herd: The Reeks Herd Rank: Herd Stallion Desired Rank: He would take the opportunity to become a lead stallion if the case presented itself, but until then he is content. Appearance: stock (c) mwilliams-stock on DA - [ ignore his brandings, the photos are just for appearance ] This powerful-looking stallion stands at a solid 16 hands tall, with a muscular build stretching up from his legs, to the chest, to his upper body. His healthy Chestnut coat covers most of him, other than a thick blaze streaking down his face, and four large stockings on each of his legs. Running a hand over him, Cletus's coat would be smooth to the touch, though nearing his rump you will find a few minor scars from his days as a bachelor and from defending the herd. His mane is quite thick, though on the shorter side and is the same color as his coat, his tail is similar in color as well and sweeps almost all the way to the ground. Cletus's eyes are more boring compared to his many markings, they are just a dark brown color, but appear to have some depth upon closer inspection. Lighter-colored eyelashes frame his dark orbs and are not very visible unless you look closer. There are no markings around his eyes. Any Injuries: A little scratted up from the tornados, but nothing worth mentioning that would affect his current health. Personality: This stallion carries himself in a way that seems to demand respect and show confidence, though not of a lead stallion, he still knows his place. It comes partially as an act to outside stallions, to show his power above them, but he also feels as if it would be some sort of reassurance to the mares to know that they are well looked after. Though once you get to know him more personally, more of a gentle giant may come to mind, he is quite calm and wants to promote a sense of safety to the herd members around him. With this being said, Cletus often holds himself to a higher standard than achievable but he strives to reach it anyway, by doing this, he tends to set goals for himself. One of his more family-oriented goals is being able to become a strong fatherly figure to his current and future offspring so his influence could help set them on the right path. With his more herd-oriented goals being to stay as alert and sharp as possible for any dangers that may occur, and to help the lead mare with any tasks possible. Cletus is very defensive of the mares from this herd, having been through so much over the past years, and more so recently. This male has no intention of letting them become further weakened after the tornados. On that subject, once the issue of what to do with the survivors arrives, he tends to be more cautious towards any stallions, though has more of a willingness to take in any mares that may be in need. Even if they aren't a part of the herd, a part of him still feels for the possibly traumatized beings that had been cared for their life and then left to their own devices to defend themselves during this scary time. This stallion could also be described as level-headed, he dislikes large arguments among the herd so he does his best to talk them out if there is any. Cletus never goes as far as to provoke or join in a fight, unless of course, the herds' well-being is at risk and it would benefit them. When an issue is not needing help solving, he enjoys time 'patroling' the herd, watching over them, and ensuring their safety. He also enjoys actually socializing and loves a good conversation with a mare or even a silly little one with a foal. Backstory: Cletus was born into a small herd, his father, mother, and two other mares. Cletus was around two when his aging mother died, and then he was pushed out of the herd. The young stallion joined a bachelor band for a short time before he turned to the Reeks herd and joined when he was six. Crush: Open to plotting for the RP ;) Offspring: Open! Other: I have some pumpkins IRL that need some care, so I won't be able to take on seven different characters this time.

Name: Klaos Age: Five Years Gender: Male Rank: Pack member Desired Rank: Beta Appearance: stock (c) EternalOcean on DA This male is quite the specimen, with his thick, luscious, multi-colored pelt and his bright orbs. Klaos's coat consists mostly of an orange color, integrated with patches of a white-ish color on his lower muzzle, that blends out into his cheeks. As well as a lighter grey on his forehead, sides, shoulders, and back. His inner ears are colored like her muzzle, though come across as more of an orange color and have less white, and other than the markings he has now, there are none out of the ordinary. These color patterns carry on into Klaos's tail, which is average length and just as 'floofy' as the rest of him, and the tip is colored black. As for scars, he has none that are visible and worth noting. Klaos's eyes are not blue, but rather a bright orange with small yellow flecks towards the center. His eyes do tend to also look like a deeper color of orange depending on the lighting as well. Klaos stands about 33 inches at the shoulder and is roughly 125 pounds, give or take the time of year and his current food intake. His build is more muscular, though not as much as some of the other males. His walk is fast-paced and stealthy. This male's aroma is a faint pine smell. Personality: This male expects a lot from himself, any mistake is failure, and failure from himself, he detests. It also shows a lack of strength on his behalf, and he strives to prove that he is worthy of a spot in the pack, even if he was born into it. Because of this, Klaos is quite willing to do anything for his pack, whether it's doing extra hunting during his season, or. carrying out another helpful task. His loyalty to the pack itself is fierce and he would do anything to ensure the safety of his fellow packmates. These values of Klaos also lead to his strong determination and attentiveness in the tasks he carries out, once this male sets in mind to something, it's hard to change it, and he will do anything to finish what he started. With this being said, this male can also come across as stubborn, though he tries not to show it as much. Because of this stubbornness, he tends not to ask too many questions and tries to answer them himself, or if he has an issue, instead of taking it up with another wolf, he tries to solve it himself. As far as his loyalty to the alpha goes, Klaos just needs time to adjust to the change in leadership before he fully forms an opinion on the new alpha. He senses how some of the others feel towards him, but it would be horrid if the pack divided over it. So really, a part of him still trusts the alpha even if he is an illegitimate heir. This wolf is also a patient creature, naturally loving the hunt, he could easily spend a few hours out of the camp to watch for prey in the calmness of the woods. He values his independence and hunting small prey alone satisfies a part of that. Though he doesn't mind going in a group either. Loyalty: Loyalty to the pack as a whole is a 10, but to the alpha, it is a 6, he is still a bit unsure of him because he was an illegitimate heir. Strengths: ☑ Stealth, this male can step lighter than some of the other, more muscular males since his weight is on the lighter side ☑ Speed, a bulky weight doesn't slow him down, he is lighter and has just enough muscle to power him through the terrain ☑ Focus, once Klaos has started a task, he won't stop until it's completed ☑ Vision, this wolf has proficient eyesight Weaknesses: ☒ Muscle, Klaos is not as strong as the other males and lacks some of the body weight they possess ☒ Coat color, his coat color is really only meant for autumn ☒ Endurance, while this wolf has speed and can keep it up longer than some of the others in the pack, his ability only stretches so far Likes: ☑ Hunting obviously ☑ Close friendships ☑ Independence after a long day ☑ Early mornings Dislikes: ☒ Failure, though mostly from himself ☒ Crows, the most annoying beasts in the air ☒ Unnecessary Quarrels, they are a waste of everyone's time ☒ Extreme weather, insanely cold or hot Crush: Open Mate: None - Open Pups: None Other: I plan to make 2-4 characters.

I decided to add a survivor. Name: Callista - Cal Greek for "Most Beautiful" Age: Nine Years Gender: Female Herd: None Rank: Survivor Desired Rank: Herd Mare Appearance: stock image credit to Valarian-Warrior on DA Cal stands at an easy 15.4 HH, with solid legs that support her long body. She was well exercised during her time at the barn and is well-muscled, with her hindquarters and powerful shoulders being a highlight of that, this mare is built for speed. Her tail is long, reaching almost to the ground, and is just as thick as her mane, which is also of a slightly longer length. Both are colored black. This mare has a fine, well-brushed coat, almost shiny looking and smooth to the touch, blood bay colored. Though it does look a little rough after her encounter with the tornado. Her other noticeable markings include a large white blaze, almost a white face, and black markings that go a few inches up past her knees, and blend into her coat. Cal's eyes are a dark brown, almost black color, and are set on her head so she can have almost 360 vision. Her orbs are framed by long black eyelashes and have no other markings around them. Any Injuries: A cut roughly six inches runs over the left side of her back, near her tail, from a tree branch that swiped her while she was running. It's not concerningly deep. She also has a few scuff marks but none troublesome enough to mention. Personality: A few words to describe Call are motherly, intelligent, and shy. This mare carried the traits of a mother, having had foals herself, and being around some at the stable. She has quite a bit of a soft spot for them, but not so that they would get away with everything, Cal still understands how to properly raise a foal. Cal considered herself intelligent while she was at the barn, knowing her schedule and who her caretakers were and her way in the pasture, but now that's changed. She has little knowledge of defense, with no protection in numbers now that it's just her and the other survivors, and no clue where she is. These next few steps in surviving may be a bit harder for her, since she is more on the shy side so her communication may not be as good, and being with an actual herd or dealing with bachelors is something she has never dealt with. When this mare does end up conversing with another, Cal is a great listener, allowing you to ramble as needed, and then offer advice if that's what you're looking for, or will just be there for you to talk to. She is also quite observant, which will come in handy as she and the other survivors are trying to figure out the next steps, like looking for other horses or possible danger as they navigate the new terrain. As far as loyalty and trust, those are two values Cal will never put aside. They are the most important to her during this time, and the longer she spends with the other survivors, the stronger those two things seem to become. Once they come across other horses, her trust and possible friendship may be a bit harder to earn, but she'll come around when the time is right. Backstory: Cal had been boarded at Ard na Gréine for a few years before being selected for a breeding program after she was found to be her mother's most genetically superior foal. Her current owners had planned to breed her with other high stallions and ended up with two foals from her. Cal was going to breed for her third, but before any of that could happen the tornado struck. Her 2-year-old daughter was also at the barn but was separated from her during the panic and was never seen since. Affiliations: WIP Crush: In RP 👀 Offspring: She has a 4-year-old stallion that was sold to train as a racehorse and a 2-year-old mare that was lost in the tornado. Other: I just realized how similar she and Cletus looked- Edited at June 6, 2021 06:33 PM by Ciao

Adira [ah-DEER-ah] Hebrew origin, "strong, noble, powerful" Age: Eight and a half years Gender: Female Herd: The Valley Herd Rank: Deputy Mare Desired Rank: Maybe Lead mare Appearance: stock (c) to venomxbaby.deviantart.com This mare has a solid height of 15 hands and has an average weight of about 800 pounds. Her carriage and figure are more elegant and coordinated. Her walk is a bit quicker though still appearing to be smooth, though a slight hop or bounce will occasionally interrupt it. Adira's coat is a stunning chestnut color, on the lighter end of the scale though is generally darker around her stomach and back. Her coat also appears to have dappling, which is mostly on her neck and back. Near her hooves, she has a lighter half sock above her front left hoof. On her other three, she has that coloration on her ankles. This mare does not have any other prominent markings other than the dark grey marking on her muzzle. Overall, her coat is healthy, with a short, glossy appearance, feeling smooth to the touch. Her eyes, planted evenly on either side of her face, are a dark brown color and almost appear to be black in some cases. Black lashes are fixed right above her dark orbs and a dark grey color surrounds her eyes. Adira's mane is quite long, and its color reflects a lighter version of her chestnut coat and is a coarser texture than the rest of her. This mare's tail also has a similar color and texture, though it has more of an ombre effect, starting lighter at the base of her tail and then growing to a dark brown. She does not have any large visible scars, maybe just a few small ones hardly worth mentioning from earlier years. Personality: Adira has a determined, hard-working attitude. Her spirit had been crushed as she watched the health of some of those in the herd deteriorate, and then even more so with the loss of her dear friend Sunna, who she will never forget. It changed her, but maybe for the better. It changed her and opened her eyes to see how the world really was, cruel. Her friend didn't deserve to die, and what did the herd do to suffer this much? Previously, this mare had a soft personality, she was very sensitive and wanting to do her best to please those around her, and never really spoke a word against anyone, and would allow herself to get walked over. Now she has the sense to speak up for what she believes and to properly defend herself. Adira won't be taken advantage of by her kindness and won't let herself act so hurt by one's words again. She is determined to keep pushing on and will work hard to make sure she doesn't slow the herd down in any way. In this way, she has more of a positive outlook on what is to come, a part of her is thrilled to be out in the unknown, maybe the herd will even find a better place to settle. But until then Adira will do her best to keep some of her hope up. While Adira knows she doesn't inherit the Lead Mare position, she is interested in leading the herd that her friend once did. Though she is also partially held back. She had a lot of respect for what Sunna did as a Lead mare and doesn’t know if she could ever fill her hooves, and would be afraid to fail to help lead the herd. If this mare was given the chance to lead and failed, she would never forgive herself. Until a new lead is appointed Adira is fine holding the deputy position, and if the new one decides to appoint a different deputy, she wouldn’t argue and would stay just as loyal as she was with Sunna, and trust they do their best to fill her friend's hooves. When raising foals this mare is the opposite of lax. She’ll keep her eyes on them like a hawk, not wanting them out of her sight "until they become yearlings". This time has been hard on everyone, and now isn't the time for young foals to wander off, with little to no food and water, and starving predators waiting for a chance at prey. Though that doesn’t mean she won’t let them go off to play with the other foals, Adira will just be close enough to watch. This mare is an overprotective mama who fiercely loves her offspring. In the raising of them, she wants to be more involved, mostly to make sure they behave and can survive. As she would find it embarrassing to see the Deputy not being able to keep her foals in line. This mare is a patient horse and could sit through one's ramblings, a foals constant questions, or one's mistakes. Adira has little to no temper, and if she does happen to lose her cool, it's only shown in a slight flick of the tail, shake of the head, or snort of displeasure. She hates to see horses biker during this time, it been hard on all of them, and to see the herd tear each other apart would make their time even more difficult. As far as loyalty and trust, those are two values Adira will never put aside. They are the most important to her during this time, and the longer the herd is together, the stronger those two things seem to become. Her trust in the LS and Lieutenants' judgment is strong and she would never plan on speaking a word against either. Crush: None, Open Mate: None Foals: Open to a yearling or foal [It would be kinda cute if they were obsessed with butterflies.] - Though I want to check and make sure it's alright first.
