Sky thought for a moment whether he truly wanted another shot or not. He didn't plan on getting wasted because he wanted to be able to control himself if he and Alex ended up getting carried away. Skylar didn't want to risk anything. "Just a little." Sky said, bringing his hand up to show just a pinch. 'It is pretty good though, I just don't wanna get really wasted." Skylar admitted, "You on the other hand, its okay. I'll take care of ya." Sky then added quietly.

Alex waited until he got an answer from Skylar before giving a nod and moving to pour a little of the sweet alcohol into his shot glass. "Okay." He said as he did so. After he had finished he put the bottle away and turned back to look at Skylar. Hearing him state that it was fine for him to get wasted and that he'd take care of him, Alex couldn't stop the smile from his lips. Nor could he keep from noticing how his heart seemed to stammer inside his chest. "You sure you want to sign yourself up for that?" He questioned as he moved to lean back against the counter, his gaze still on Skylar. "I mean, what if I'm an absolutely horrible drunk?" He questioned. He wasn't saying no though, and perhaps that would have alarmed him if he wasn't feeling so... good or carefree.

Sky kept his eyes locked onto Alex's. He could finally look at him like this without anyone else seeing. "Im sure Alex." Sky answered honestly. Despite there being a chance that Alex is a horrible drunk, Sky would still put up with it. With all the bullshit Alex has put up with, Sky didn't mind. "I guess we'll see soon, bottoms up pretty boy." Skylar said, grabbing his shot and downing it. He didn't wait for Alex, but he watched him as he set his empty shot glass down. Smirking, he poured another shot for Alex and pushed it over beside him.

Alex wasn't sure whether it was because of where he and Skylar were, because of the fact that his friends were engrossed in the game, or because of the alcohol, that he didn't feel concerned about the way Skylar was looking at him. Or, how he was sure he was looking at Skylar. When he heard him answer he smiled and shook his head and moved to pick up his shot. When he heard Skylar call him a pretty boy he paused, his cheeks warming slightly before he shook his head. He was half tempted to suggest that he wasn't or to playfully remark on the fact that he wasn't ever going to live that down, but instead, he brought the drink to his lips and quickly downed the shot before setting it down on the counter. Reaching for the tea that was sitting on the table he glanced at Skylar only to pause when he saw him pour another shot and then slide the glass over to him. After a moment's pause he smirked faintly and, with his gaze still locked onto Skylar, he grabbed the shot and moved to quickly down it.

Skylar smirked when Alex downed the shot that he had poured for him. "Good shit." Sky said quietly, patting Alex's shoulder, his touch lingering. He slightly shook his head before grabbing the can of tea. He then started walking back towards the living room, cracking open the tea once he sat back down in his spot. He took a huge sip of his drink before turning his attention to Alex's friends.

Alex shook his head slightly, his mind already feeling foggy from the alcohol he'd already had and then the two shots he'd just thrown back. "Yeah." He laughed softly and glanced down at Skylar's hand on his shoulder. The fact that he found himself wanting to lean up and kiss him at that moment... told him that the alcohol was definitely having an effect on him. Grabbing his own can of tea he moved to follow after Skylar. It surprised him how much thought he was having to put into each stop and the concern he felt at falling over. That would be hilariously embarrassing and something he wouldn't live down. When he reached his seat on the couch next to Skylar he sank into it and let out a soft sigh of relief. Opening his can of tea he took a sip before looking towards his friends.

Skylar's eyes followed Alex's movements. The alcohol definitely was causing more of an effect on Alex than on Skylar. Skylar was only tipsy, but he was still enjoying himself. "Okay, Alex, your turn to ask a question." Skylar said, chuckling a bit. He was excited to hear what question Alex had to ask, and then also excited to ask his own question. He sat there, sinking into the couch, spreading his legs again to purposely be touching Alex.

Alex found himself leaning back on the couch instead of sitting up and paying attention to the game. Though his gaze rested on his friends, his mind wasn't exactly following. Lifting his can to his lips he took another sip, and when he heard Skylar he paused and looked over at him, a brow furrowing. "My turn.." He repeated before giving a slow and thoughtful hum. "Never have I ever caught feelings for someone I wasn't supposed to." He asked after a moment of silence. As soon as he posed his question he let his gaze flick over to Skylar, though he didn't let them linger long. He took a sip of his drink before looking back toward his friends and watching as Roger, Will, and Bev took a sip of their drinks.

Skylar swallowed thickly at Alex's question. Oh shit. Skylar's eyes slightly widened for a second, but he was quick to make his expression disappear. His heart began racing for some reason, but he was quick to calm it. He watched intently as Alex took a sip. Sky knew he was talking about him. Slowly, he brought his can of tea to his lips and took a sip, his gaze never leaving Alex. It was after he swallowed his drink that he turned his gaze to his friends. Clenching his jaw, he thought for a moment. "Okay, never have I ever," Sky began, "made out with your best friend?" He finished. It was a dumb question, but Sky couldn't really think of anything after Alex's question. Sky was quick to take a sip of his drink, looking at Alex as he did so.

Alex wasn't sure what he was doing asking that question and yet oddly at the same time he had done it purposefully just as he had intentionally locked eyes with Skylar as he spoke it and took a sip of his drink. Dangerous, how he could feel himself beginning to slip. The control he so tightly held over himself faltered. But it wasn't bad, not at all. In fact, he kind of liked the way everything felt a little distant like a heavy blanket had been thrown over the constant hum of anxiety in his chest. When Skylar gave his never have I ever question and then took a sip of his drink, Alex raised a brow. His thoughts went instantly to Chris, the only friend that he knew Skylar had and he found himself biting his lip ever so slightly. Quickly looking away he watched as Bev and Will both took a sip of their drinks.
