"I sure was." Skylar said softly chuckling. He watched Alex as he took the shot before holding his hand out to give Alex the cup of punch. He didn't stare at Alex for long, instead he looked over at the game that his friends were playing. He glanced over his shoulder at the kitchen, wanting to get more alcohol. Sky knew that he probably shouldn't get wasted though, especially with everything going on with him but he wanted to. Turning his attention back to the game, he threw a quick glance at Alex.

Alex smiled at that and shook his head. He looked down at the shot and after a moment's pause brought the glass to his lips and quickly downed it. At the taste and the burn that followed he wrinkled his nose in disgust before shaking his head. "Nope... still not a fan." He said before reaching for the red cup and the fruit punch concoction it contained. In an attempt to ease the bitter taste of the shot, he took a sip before sighing softly. "Much better." He said nodding in approval. He let his gaze rest on Skylar a moment longer before he turned to look back towards his friends. "You should join us. I mean, you don't have to play if you don't want to, but you could sit next to me. Knowing how these games go, and considering how you're determined to get me to 'let loose', you might just find out some of my deepest and darkest secrets." He said with a faint smirk as he looked at him.

"Fine I'll sit but I'm not playing." Sky said with a slight smile. "Anyone else want drinks?" Skylar asked, looking at everybody else. He then waited for an answer from any of them. He planned to get Alex another shot and take one with him, so he just thought he might as well ask everyone else. Maybe tonight was going to be fun. Sky thought to himself, trying to get himself in a more fun mood. He needed to be fun tonight for Alex.

Alex relaxed when Skylar said that he'd at least sit with him. He drew in a breath and then slowly let it out before nodding. "Perfect." He said and fought the urge to reach out and take Skylar's hand. God, it was harder to do than he thought it would be, even when the risk of being spotted was so high. His gaze moved to his group of friends when they were asked if they wanted him to grab them anything more to drink. "I think we're all good, man. Thanks though." Roger said as he looked up and gave an appreciative nod. Alex stood still for a moment before he gave a nod and then took a step towards his friends, fully intending to sit down beside them and join the game they were playing.

Once all Alex's friends said they were good, Skylar nodded and still moved back to the kitchen. They probably are going to be confused since they didn't want any drinks, but he wasn't coming back with drinks for them. Sipping on his punch, he arrived in the kitchen again. He grabbed two shot glasses and poured some strong sweet liquor in both of them. Grabbing both of them carefully, he began to walk back into the living room. "One for you and one for me." Sky said quietly to Alex. "Made sure it was something you'd maybe like." Sky then added before handing him one of the shot glasses. He smirked and raised his eyebrows.

Alex claimed his seat at the end of the table. Sitting down he made sure to leave enough room for Skylar to sit down next to him. Then he leaned back on one hand and took another sip of the spiked punch. When Skylar came over he looked up at him and raised a brow upon seeing the two shot glasses in his hand. He raised a brow and tilted his head. At his softly spoken words, he smiled and gave a nod. "Thank you." He said warmly, his own voice quiet as he moved to take one of the shot glasses. "Together?" He asked, intending to take the shot with Skylar instead of by himself.

Skylar kept his eyes on Alex, nodding to his question. "Obviously." He playfully said, rolling his eyes. After waiting a moment, Sky hesitantly downed the shot, making sure he and Alex did it at the same time. He then held his hand out for the empty shot glass and stacked them before looking around. He found an empty end table close by, so he set both the glasses down on it. Taking a sip of his punch, he returned his attention to the table. Glancing at Alex, he threw a quick smirk at him. It's been so long since they've drunk together, so Skylar couldn't remember if he was a lightweight or not. Sky himself, well, he wasn't that much of a lightweight. Two shots and the cup of spiked punch were probably enough to get him a little tipsy, but Skylar had no intention of stopping feeding Alex alcohol.

Alex chuckled faintly when he heard Skylar's playful response. Glancing down at the shot glass in his hand he waited until Skylar was bringing his to his lips before he did the same. He quickly tossed it back, half expecting it to be the same bitter stuff as before. When instead he tasted sweetness he raised a brow before humming in approval and nodded. He gave a faint smile to Skylar when he took the shot glass from him and moved to set it down on the end table. He let his gaze move after him, but when Ben called his name his gaze and attention were pulled to the game. "We're thinking about switching to something else. Unless you really wanted to play a round of Kings Cup." He said. Alex raised a brow before shaking his head. "I don't care." He said with a chuckle. He wasn't a lightweight... or at least he didn't think he was. He hadn't ever gotten drunk yet but then he didn't really drink, and on the few occasions that he did he stopped the moment he started feeling tipsy. Bringing his cup to his lips he took a sip and let his gaze trail back toward Skylar.

Skylar moved to sit beside Alex, being careful not to sit too close. His eyes then wandered around the room. Leaning back, he spread his legs wide enough that his right leg was slightly pressed up against Alex's. He did it on purpose, of course, he wanted to touch him in a way that seemed not purposeful. He didn't bring his gaze to Alex's face, instead, he looked down at the table and examined everything that was going on. Usually, Skylar didn't play games at any of the parties he's been to. He was more into drugs and alcohol at parties, so that's why he didn't want to play. He also didn't know how to play, and didn't really feel like learning. Taking another sip of his punch, his cup was already half empty. He shook his head slightly before throwing a quick glance at Alex.

Though he kept his gaze glued to his friends and listened as they discussed what game they wanted to play next, he found it increasingly difficult not to look at Skylar. It was like he was a magnet, pulling his gaze and his attention without having to do anything but be present. When he felt Sky's leg brush against his own he bit the inside of his cheek in an attempt to stop himself from smiling. He couldn't, doing so risked drawing attention and he didn't want that. So instead, he shifted how he sat, purposefully pressing his leg against Skylar's in return. "How about I've Never?" Bev asked finally. Will, Ben, and Roger seemed to like the idea, and with Alex ultimately throwing in his vote to play, the others were outvoted. "Okay so, who's starting us off?" Bev asked once everyone was ready. Alex took a sip of his drink before shrugging. "It was your idea, so why don't you get it going." He suggested after a moment of thought.
