"Let loose, have fun tonight." Sky said, nudging Alex playfully again. Finally, Skylar looked beside him at the male. "I know, but I want to." Skylar began, smiling a bit. "I don't know how much I'm gonna drink though." He then added before turning his head to look forward. He continued to walk alongside Alex, not a thought behind those eyes. Skylar hasn't been thinking much lately, instead he's just been numb inside. He can't let it show, so every time he sees or talks to Alex, he has to put on a show. It was better than him acting out every second of every day.

Alex chuckled faintly before he hummed in thought at the suggestion that he let loose tonight. It was definitely a temptation, to suggest otherwise would be a lie. Maybe he'd indulge a little more than he normally did. "That's okay." He said after hearing Skylar state that he wasn't sure how much he was going to drink. He let his gaze rest on Skylar as they continued walking before he smiled faintly. "I don't think I ever asked, but do you have a favorite drink?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. Odds were whatever kind of beverage Sky liked wouldn't be served tonight, but if he knew what it was he could make sure it was there for them the next time that they went to one of Bev's parties.

As they continued to walk, Skylar turned his head to face Alex once again. "I just drink whatever gets me drunk the quickest, so I don't really have a favourite drink, but I like fruity things." Sky replied. He let out a small chuckle before looking forward again. He was kind of getting excited for what the night had in store for him and Alex. "How about you?" Sky asked after a moment of silence.

Alex kept his gaze on Skylar, taking him in as they walked. When he heard his answer he listened to it, making a point to remember that he liked more fruity things than hard or bitter. Good to know. Hearing him chuckle he smiled and then gave a shrug at the question. "I don't know. I can't really think of anything that I would go so far as to say is a favorite. I do know that I absolutely can not stand the bitter drinks." He said with a chuckle. "Bev and pretty much everyone else can handle them no problem, but not me." He said with a soft laugh. "So, I guess we have the same taste in drinks then because I'd have to say I prefer sweet or fruiter tasting ones as well." He added to his answer after a moment of thought.

Soon enough, they were at Bev's house, and Skylar was ready to drink. "Im gonna get a drink, you can say hi to your friends." Sky said to Alex as they stepped inside the house. Once Alex acknowledged what he was doing, Skylar began to make his way to the kitchen, where he assumed the drink would be. He was correct, seeing the counter and table packed with alcohol, snacks, and cups. Grabbing a cup, he scanned over all the choices. Ultimately, he chose the homemade punch, which was served in a huge bowl. He filled his cup halfway before downing a premade shot. Looking around, he sipped on the punch, low-key regretting the choice he made to come.

Alex had enjoyed their walk to Bev's place. A couple of times he'd found his eyes dropping to Skylar's hand, tempted to reach out and take it. He didn't allow himself to do so, however, and instead shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants. When they reached Bev's place, he looked up at Skylar upon hearing him and furrowed his brow. "Okay... I'll meet up with you in a little bit then." He said. He had remained still for a few moments watching as Skylar headed for the kitchen before he moved to find Bev and the rest of his friends. It wasn't a difficult task. He was pretty sure he'd recognize them anywhere. Currently, they were gathered around the coffee table in the living room playing a party game he recognized but couldn't remember the game of. "Hey. Told you I'd make it." He said with a smile and a soft laugh. Bev looked up as did the others. "Oh my god, yes! The whole gang back together." She said with a chuckle before glancing around him. "I thought you said you were bringing someone?" She asked. "He's in the kitchen getting something to drink," Alex answered with a small smile.

Sighing, he started walking around in the kitchen before going to where he heard voices. His heart slightly dropped when he saw all of Alex's friends. "Hey." He said with a small smile on his face before sipping on his punch. "You want me to get you a drink?" Skylar said to Alex as he walked up to stand beside him. He took another sip of the punch, his eyes leaving Alex's face, remembering he couldn't be all over him.

Alex took note of how Bev's gaze drifted toward the kitchen after hearing his answer. He parted his lips to say something but was silenced when he heard Skylar's voice. Smiling he turned his gaze towards him and listened to his question before giving a nod. "Sure. But first introductions." He said with a soft chuckle. "Skylar, this Bev." He said introducing him first to Bev before he named the rest of the people present. Ben, Roger, Leo, Andrew, and last but not least Will. Each greeted Skylar, with a hey or what's up, but didn't focus too long before diving back into the game they were playing. "So what exactly are you guys playing?" Alex asked after he'd finished introducing everyone. Bev grinned at that, a mischievous look in her eye. "Kings cup." He said before chuckling. "Do you guys want to join?" She asked, looking back and forth between Alex and Skylar. Alex paused at the question and threw a glance towards Sky. "I mean I'm down." He said after a moment.

Skylar didn't really want to do the whole introduction thing, but he kind of had to. He listened as everyone greeted him, simply nodding his head in reply to everyone. Once they all were done, Sky turned his gaze back to Alex. "Nah I'm good." Sky replied glancing at all of Alex's friends before turning to go back to the kitchen. He decided to just get Alex a shot and some punch, exactly what he got. He surprisingly was able to carry both punches and a shot glass back without spilling anything. "Here." Sky said, raising his brows since he planned on getting Alex to let loose tonight. He handed the shot glass to Alex and kept both punches in his hand until Alex was done taking the shot.

Bev gave a slight nod when she heard Skylar's answer. "Okay." She said after a moment. "We'll I'll make sure we finish this round-up quickly so you can join Alex." She said with a slight nod. Then, after a moment's pause, she moved to turn and head back over to the table. Alex watched her go for a moment though he stood still and then let his blue hues follow Skylar as he moved into the kitchen. When he returned Alex greeted him with a smile before glancing down at the shot and the two drinks that Skylar was holding. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't impressed with the fact that he'd managed to carry them over, though he didn't say anything. As the shot was handed to him he paused a moment before furrowing his brow. "You were serious about getting me to let loose, weren't you." He said with a soft laugh as he moved to take the shot from Skylar.
