Sky's eyes lit up ever so slightly when he felt Alex grab his hand. Knowing that Alex was trying, and this was his way of doing so, made Sky cheer up a bit. He threw a quick glance at him before looking back at the screen as the movie started to play. He interlocked their fingers gently, and brought Alex's hand up to face, placing a soft kiss on the back of his hand. He then held Alex's hand to his chest for a moment before resting both their hands and arms in his lap. He looked over at Alex, realizing that they probably wouldn't be doing anything other than holding hands. His face dropped slightly, but he tried not to let it bother him. It was going to take a while before Alex was comfortable with doing most things in public, perhaps they could go back to Sky's house for a bit. Alex could say that he stayed for the second movie. Skylar liked that plan, but he wasn't sure if Alex would even want to do that. Sky looked back at the screen when he realized he was staring for some time.

Feeling as Skylar gently interlocked their fingers, Alex let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. Never before could he remember being so nervous and uncertain about what to do in a relationship. Granted the people he'd dated before hadn't interested him in the slightest. Perhaps that was the biggest difference. If the girls he'd gone out with in the past broke up with him he wouldn't be bothered in the slightest, on the contrary, he would find relief in it, in not having to play the role of doting boyfriend anymore. It was different with Skylar, the blooming feelings he had for the male were real and he was terrified of saying or doing something to mess this up. Looking over at Skylar, Alex watched as he brought their hands to his face and placed a soft kiss on the back of his hand. The act, the warmth of his lips on his skin, sent Alex's heart racing. He felt butterflies flutter about in his stomach and he swallowed thickly. It was when their hands returned to Sky's lap that he looked back toward the large screen and the movie that was beginning to play. He was still nervous, and somewhat terrified of being found out, and yet he was also, thrilled, excited, and happy to be sharing this moment with Skylar.

The rest of the movie they sat beside each other in silence, with Skylar glancing at Alex every now and then, that was pretty much it. Sky didn't really like the movie but he enjoyed being there with Alex. He held Alex's hand throughout the whole thing, not letting go. Even when taking a sip out of his Dr Pepper, he did it with one hand. He didn't end up opening his chips, but that was because he wasn't that hungry. Surprisingly, Sky didn't think about drugs once. As the credits to the first movie started rolling, Sky looked over at Alex and asked, "Hey so I was thinking, did you want to go back to my place for the next movie?" He grew a little nervous waiting for Alex's reply, but he knew Alex probably still wanted to hang out with him, alone especially. He offered a smile to Alex as he let go of his hand and started to get up. It was now closer to 9 pm, it was much darker and the sky was filled with stars already. It also had cooled right down, making Sky's arms get goosebumps. Throughout the movie, Sky was quite cold, but he felt the heat radiating off Alex from how close they sat.

Alex remained seated next to Skylar, their hands clasped together for the remainder of the movie. Though he had kept his gaze on the large screen before them he remained acutely aware of each movement Skylar had made and hadn't failed to notice the glances he'd been given. Several times he'd caught himself on the verge of smiling, and not wanting his awareness of Skylar's eyes on him to be found out, he'd swiftly bitten such smiles back. When the movie came to an end and the credits started rolling, Alex hummed softly and then turned to look over at Skylar when he started talking. At his offer he paused a moment, taken by surprise at what was said before he found himself nodding. "I'd like that." He said with a smile. His parents, he hoped, wouldn't question him if he were to send a quick text saying that he and his /friend/ had decided to stay for the next movie. In all honesty, he didn't want to go home, not yet. Not after he'd spent such an amazing day with Skylar, having it end now seemed far too soon.

Once Skylar let go of his hand and stood up, Alex moved to do the same, grabbing his shoes and slipping them on before reaching to grab his soda and bag of chips. It was a cool night, and though he could feel the cool crisp night air hit his skin, Alex wasn't particularly bothered by it. He hadn't been lying when he'd told Skylar earlier that he wasn't bothered too much by the cold. On the contrary, he rather enjoyed it, something his parents and younger sister could never understand because all three of them hated the cold.

Skylar looked to where he had put his shoes and grabbed them. He slipped them on and grabbed his Dr Pepper which only had about a couple sips left. Sky opened the pop and chugged the rest, dropping the empty bottle once he screwed the top back on. He hopped off the truck bed and then closed the thing. (I don't know what it's called) He then walked over the the driver's seat and got into the truck. He was excited to go home, especially with Alex. He just wanted to kiss him already. Putting the key into the ignition and turning it, the truck turned on. He buckled his seatbelt and looked over to make sure Alex was set before backing up.

Alex watched as Skylar grabbed and put on his own shoes before finishing off his Dr Pepper. He smiled slightly at the sight, and once Sky had gotten off the truck bed he moved to do the same. A huff of breath escaped him as his feet hit the ground and he took a step around the truck and toward the door of the passenger side. The idea of having this night continue, even if only for a while longer, was exciting and something that Alex looked forward to. In all honesty, he felt eager to get back to Skylar's place, a place where it was just the two of them and there weren't any prying eyes. Pulling the door open, Alex climbed in and sat down. He opened his Coke and took a quick sip before closing it and setting the bottle in the cupholder. With his hands-free he reached for his seatbelt, pulling it over himself he buckled into the seat and looked towards Skylar. As he began backing the truck up, he smiled faintly and let out a soft and contented sigh.

The drive home wasn't long at all, it was roughly 5 minutes. After pulling into the driveway and shutting the truck off, Skylar got out. Going to the back of the truck, he reached his arms over the side and tried his best to grab everything that was in there. After grabbing everything he could he made his way to the front door. "I couldn't grab the one pillow." Sky stated as he walked past Alex. He didn't wait for Alex, instead, he walked to the front door and opened it. After walking in himself, he left it open for Alex. He kicked off his shoes and then waited for Alex to show up. Once he did he started to make his way towards his room. "We're back but I'll be driving Alex home in like an hour and a half." Skylar said to his mom, who was sitting on the couch watching tv. "That's sounds good to me." Danielle answered, looking back at them for a moment. When he got into his room he made his bed quickly.

When they reached Skylar's house and the truck was parked in the driveway, Alex moved to unbuckle himself. Getting out of the vehicle he reached over to grab his soda and tossed a glance towards Skylar when he spoke. "Okay, I'll get it." He said, noticing the armful Sky was currently carrying. Closing the passenger door, Alex stepped around to the back of the truck and grabbed the pillow from where it had been left. He gave the bed of the truck a quick once over and certain that nothing was left behind he headed inside. With his soda and the pillow in his hands, Alex slipped his shoes off before heading down the hall and toward Skylar's room. As he passed by Danielle he greeted her with a small smile and a nod. Reaching Skylar's room, Alex slowed in the doorway and watched him a moment before taking a step towards him. "Anything I can help with?" He asked, glancing at the bed that Skylar was quickly making before returning his blue hues to the male in front of him.

Sky looked over at Alex when he offered to help. "Ya, toss me that pillow and close the door please." Sky said as he got ready to catch the pillow. Once Alex threw him the pillow he put it beside the other pillow. "So what you wanna do?" Sky asked as he sat down on the bed. He put his hands in his lap and looked up at Alex. "I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do." Sky said in his famous flirty tone as he got up. He slowly stepped closer to Alex and pulled him closer to him by his shirt. He moved his hands to grab Alex's waist, pulling him in even closer. He gave Alex that look, the need in his eyes was so clear.

Alex gave a nod at the answer he was given. Taking a step into the room he closed the door behind himself and then tossed Skylar the pillow. His blue eyes remained on him as he caught it, and watched as he placed it on the bed beside the other pillow. At his question, Alex raised a brow and tilted his head slightly. What did he want to do? He hadn't exactly thought about what they would do once they got back to Skylar's place. All he had wanted was to spend more time with him. Hearing the sound of movement, and seeing Skylar stand up, Alex's attention returned to him. At his words, and the flirty tone he spoke them in he paused and felt his breath catch in his throat. He didn't have time to formulate a response before he noticed Skylar slowly approaching and then found himself being pulled forward by his shirt. His blue eyes dropped to Sky's hand before he looked up at him. Feeling Skylar's hands move to grab his waist pulling him further toward him, Alex felt his cheeks warming with a mild blush, one that darkened slightly at the look in his eyes. "O-Oh? And what might that be?" He managed, playing innocent and unknowing, not all that proud of the slight stammer he'd had when he'd first started speaking.
