He turned his head realizing she was here now. "Wanna watch a movie with me?" He asked slightly smirking. It wouldn't hurt to spend some time with her. "I'll let you choose." He added to persuade her whilst patting the spot beside him. His eyes loomed over her again, "Agh, this was a stupid idea! She'll be so close to me!" He thought nervously, "Snap out of it and stop acting like your in middle school again." He scolded himself as he re-centered his attention on her.

Colette smiled lightly as he asked if she wanted to watch a movie. She slipped out of her heels, not needing too much persuasion after he said he'd even let her choose. "Mm, I wouldn't mind that," she said, her gaze sweeping over him as she climbed onto the couch to be next to him. "Should I really get this close? Surely he'll hear my heart pounding.." She was close enough now she could smell his cologne, which was absolutely lovely. She snapped out of it, smiling slightly at him. "So what's your poison? I'm a horror kind of girl," she asked so they could try and decide on a movie.

He smirked ignoring his nervousness, "You sure you won't get scared? Little girl." He added at the end to tease her. Grabbing the remote he changed the movie to a horror movie. He was fine with horror movies since he wasn't quite ever phased by them. Swiftly he covered them up with a thick blanket. "Do you like stuffies?" He asked with a bit of teasing. Some how he had pulled a stuffed animal out from behind the couch. He could feel his face start blushing just from sitting next to her. Quickly he shook his flustered feelings away as the movie started.

Colette raised an eyebrow as she looked over at him. "I enjoy a good thrill or scare every once in a while. Plus you'll protect me, won't you?" She teased back, batting her lashes a little bit. Colette snuggled in under the blanket. She laughed as he pulled out a stuffed animal after asking if she liked them. "As a matter of fact, I do. Gotta have something to cuddle with sometimes~" She wasn't shy about it. A lot of girls had a tendency to keep stuffies for a while, though she had left the majority of her own in her childhood bedroom. Her eyes drew to the screen as the movie began to play.

He felt his cheeks red with blush, "Aw that's so cute." He smirked as he focused on the movie, occasionally he could feel her breath hitch with fear. He smiled lightly as he pulled her closer, "Your shaking like a butterfly." He muttered quietly, "Are you scared?" He asked politely. His brain was practically screaming at him, "Remember this was forced." He sighed as he shook his thoughts away. He admired her before looking back at the TV screen.

Colette blushed at his words about how it was cute. Was it really? Or was it another tease? Either way she didn't really mind. A small gasp left her lips as he pulled her closer. Now that was unexpected. She bit her lower lip slightly, her eyes focusing on him for a moment. "J-Just a bit..." she said softly, her heart rate quickening. "He sure is warming up. I kinda like it," she thought to herself as she looked back to the tv. Despite her brain screaming at her not to give in, she leaned into him. Who knew this was how their first day together would go.

He froze in place, "Shes comfortable!! What if I move and she changes position?!" He nervously thought of more and more reasons no to move. He finally brought himself to wrap his hand around her trying to calm her maybe. His face was red and he was hot to the touch. "Shes so close- What do I do?" He nervously panicked in his head yet his face remained calm but red with blush. His breath rate slowed as he tried calming down, "Your fine." He reassured himself. Jace grasped the stuffed animal laying it firmly on the edge of their laps. He felt like sharing to see her reaction to his softness.

Colette stiffened for a moment when he put an arm around her, but she relaxed before it would have been noticeable. "I can't believe he's actually going with it.." She looked down at their laps as he placed the stuff animal against them. She smiled, blushing lightly before hesitantly holding onto the stuffie too, brushing against his hand. "So sweet.." she thought to herself as she looked back up to the screen just in time for a very abrupt jump scare. It made her jump and squeal, turning into him to hide her face instinctively. As she realized what she did, her face began to burn with blush.

He hid his emotions, "Awe, you okay?" He tried teasing her but he sounded more worried than teasing. "Im so awkward I don't know what to do!!!" He was blushing a storm yet didn't want to admit it. Jace quickly held her tighter. "Maybe this will help." He started to calm down realizing he is older and should get his life together. The movie was ending soon. "Hah, you jumped higher than hell!" He laughed trying to tease her.

Colette hid her face until the redness in her face had began to go away. "It got me good," she murmured, trying not to be so embarrassed. Her eyes widened slightly as he held her tighter, but she didn't object for the time being. "God I'm acting like I'm 16 again. I've got to pull myself together." She watched the screen as the movie was coming to an end, but she looked over at him as he started to tease her again. Colette smacked his leg, though not hard at all. "Hush! I totally wasn't expecting it," she said with a small giggle.
