I guess that depends, I mean the more the better I guess?

For someone who buys a lot, I try to stay in the 10k-20k range just in case I decide to go all out for something

It really depends on the person

For me, just a few thousand. I've been playing for several months and 12k is the most I've ever had at a time. Though you'll need a lot more if you plan on buying apples with them.
