Sky / 5 / Female / Ash Tribe / Warrior Sky awoke with a jolt, a shiver rippling down her spine as she remembered the recent events in the tribe. The Shaman’s apprentice, dead. The two tribes in a silent argument because of the unknown cause of the young dog’s demise. She shook herself, wanting to start the day without the horrible memories and began cleaning her white fur, before padding out of the den she was in and across the camp. Listening to Chinook she realised she was not on patrol. Sighing she began grooming herself again as the other dogs organised themselves. She snagged her paw on a rutted area of ground and she grimaced before licking it furiously. Poor, poor Bryn, Sky thought sadly. The dog was in need of his apprentice, that was clear. She glanced up at Chinook, who hadn't moved. She blushed slightly and turned away again. Not wanting to attract attention to herself. Why was she always like this? Around him? She thought, annoyed. Once she felt that she had sufficiently groomed herself, she rode to her feet and trotted over to the kill pile, finding a small mouse and gobbling it up before taking a rabbit carcass to Bryn.

Naruto/6/Male/Warrior/Oak Naurto stood with the hunting patrol and waited to leave and as he was he saw Kaylie who He remembered was Mike's Mate. He walked up to her and said "Hi how are you?" He looked at her and then said "how do you feel about the whole situation with Night and the Ash tribe?" He looked around and then at the sky. He hoped everything would be okay but wasn't sure. He looked back at Kaylie waiting for a response. He saw the she was pretty and why Mike choose her. He thought It has only been a year since they became mates. He wondered if Breeze and him could be Mates. He figured that she might not choose him but still was keeping hope she would and that they could be together forever. But he mostly kept to talking to the tribe mates he knows and Breeze. He shook his head out of thoughts and looked back at Kaylie. He wondered when she would answer and so he looked around a bit. He then turned back to her and sat down. Edited at February 28, 2022 02:30 PM by Shadow-Wolf

Breeze / 6 / Female / Oak / Alpha She padded lightly through the forest, alert for the smallest of sounds as she made her way back. She snaped a twig and her heart practically jumped out of her fur and she ran on, frantially trying to get back as if a grizzly bear was chasing her. Winding through the trees towards the Oak Tribe's camp, Breeze gripped the rabbit firmly as she trotted back into camp. Seeing the patrols preparing to leave, she felt a small twinge as she saw Naruto talking to Kaylie. But Kaylie and Mike were mates! She thought stupidly. Why the heck was she getting so jealous all the time?! She trotted over to the prey pile and put the rabbit on top, before padding lightly over to Naruto and Kaylie and sitting down. She felt a small ruffle in her fur as she realised she had brushed Nuruto's tail as she sat down, and hurridely she concealed a small blush. "Avalon did a good job, I shall have to thank him later, I just really needed a break for a bit this morning." She said happily. Turning more to Naruto, she said. "I might go on a small patrol this evening, Naruto, would you care to join me? I don't think any dog should go alone, not in the current circumstances." Naruto/6/Male/Oak/Warrior Naruto looked at Breeze and said "Sure I would love to!" Naruto felt her tail and left his tail still. He looked at Breeze and said "I was just asking Kaylie something." He thought maybe this evening I can tell her how I feel but will she accept my feelings. He was worried she might not but looked on the bright side. He nuzzled Breeze playfully for a minute and then straighten. He looked around and saw the patrol for border patrol leave and wondered when they would come back so that they hunting patrol can hunt. He looked back at Breeze and said "Maybe this evening during the Patrol we can hunt?" Naruto looked at her waiting for an answer. He remembered how much smaller she was than him and thought I guess there is nothing i can do about my height. He looked around camp again and saw Avalon but didn't care to much. He saw some wolves talking about pups but he kept an open mind. Naruto looked back at Breeze and said "Maybe we could talk during the Patrol too?" He wondered how she would react when he told her about how he felt.

Kaylie | 3 | Female | Oak Tribe | Warrior Kaylie was about to answer Naruto until Breeze came up to them. She would smile a bit as she watched their interaction. Kaylie would then get up. She would then walk away to leave them alone. Kaylie would then find a spot still near the hunting group just a a little bit away. She would lay down and wraps her tail around herself as she was waiting to hunt. Kaylie would lay her head on her paws as she was waiting, a little bit in deep thought. She never really thought of what happened with Night and the Ash Tribe since she didn't want to think of negitive thoughts. She would shake her head some to stop thinking about the subject Naruto brought up. Kaylie would watch the others as she was kind of bored just sitting here waiting. She would decide to take a little nap hoping someone from the hunting group would wake her up when it was time to go hunt. Kaylie would close her eyes and fell into a soft sleep.

Breeze / 6 / Female / Oak / Alpha "Maybe we could talk during the patrol too?" Breeze nodded to Naruto, slightly confused by his last question, but then understanding it, she began to get excited. Her paws tingled at the thought of 'talk'. Does he like me? Her mind concluded. She shivered, her tail thumping on the ground as she glanced sideways at Naruto. Then she straightened up, not wanting to appear immature to her tribe. The dogs were now almost leaving for their patrols and for a moment her mind flashed back to the Shaman's Apprentice, but she pushed it away, determined to have some nice thoughts billowing in her head for at least a few moments of her day. "Sure. See you just before sunset then." She curled her tail more tightly around herself as she sat next to Naruto. She studied him out of the corner of her eye, he was well muscled and large, very large, a good father for pups. He had kind eyes, and a sense of fun underneath the duty and loyalty he held to his tri- What am I doing! She screeched in her mind. A good father for Pups! Maybe I am falling for him... She thought curiously. Edited at February 28, 2022 04:28 PM by Spiritus Lunae

Naruto/6/Male/Oak/Warrior Naruto said "Alright see you at Sunset." He stood up and looked at her and said " I'm gonna go ahead of the patrol. " After he said that he head out of camp. He walked for a few minutes and then smelled rabbit. He got down in a stalking position and followed the smell. Naruto spotted the rabbit and the pounced landing successfully on the rabbit. He bit down on the neck killing it instantly and dropped it. He decided to dig a hole and after he was finished he put the Rabbit in it and buried it. He marked the tree so he would remember where he had buried it. Naruto continued on and smelled another rabbit and squirrel. He went in the direction of the squirrel a few minutes later he caught the rabbit to. He headed back to the tree. He unburied the kill and picked up the 2 rabbits and squirrel. He headed back to camp and he finally reach it. He walked into camp and dropped the kill where it would normally go. He had placed it in the middle of camp. Cirrus | Ash Tribe | Interactions: Chinook(ind.), Pastora, Rue Cirrus sighed and slowly shook his head. "About as well as can be expected," he said softly. "I'm still in shock. Who would dare end such an innocent young life?" Cirrus fell silent for a moment, racking his brain. The Ash and Oak tribes did not intermingle much, and he didn't know any of the Oak Tribe very well, but he wouldn't have thought that any of them could be so heartless. There was, of course, the possibility that one of his own tribe had done it, but he knew these dogs, and in his mind, not a single one, no matter how flawed, would be capable of such an act. Cirrus was distracted by the sound of his Alpha's bark and stood up, shaking out his pelt, and padded over to see what Chinook wanted. Cirrus sat at rapt attention, listening to each and every word. He felt a chill run up his spine as Chinook spoke, and he almost felt sorry for whoever had killed night... Almost. He couldn't bring himself to feel any pity. Very few things made Cirrus angry, but this... This put him beyond furious. He hid it well, but given the chance, he would not show mercy; the murder deserved none. As Chinook finished his address, Cirrus stood still for a moment, lost in thought. If only it hadn't rained... Whoever had killed Night was either very lucky of very smart. Of course, that didn't narrow any possibilities down. With a sigh, Cirrus turned and started to walk away, but spotted his sister, Rue, and trotted over to her. "Hey, Rue," he greeted with a dip of his head. "I'm going to volunteer to hunt, do you want to come with me?"

Bryn | 10 | Ash Tribe | Shaman | M: Sapphire, Sky Bryn re-sorted his herbs. It was a chore that he usually assigned Night to. It tested her plant recognition abilities and her organizational ones too. He usually reserved it for the late afternoon and thus she wasn’t able to complete it. He couldn’t bring himself to move anything, however. To touch the different items. Although their smells were strong and heavy, he could still smell her scent on each one. He could feel her presence among the sage and dill, they were the first ones she ever learned to recognize. He didn’t want to mess it up, to cover her soft, fresh smell with his icky, old-dog scent. He couldn’t look at the moss bundle that sat neatly in a row like aways. They reminded him of her sorry fate. Then a voice broke him out of his deep thoughts and his once-glazed-over eyes cleared up. It was Sapphire, one of the mother dogs. He blinked a little and looked up, then slowly faced her. “Yes,” he answered in a croaky voice. “What can I help you with?” As he waited for her to ask her question, he noticed another female padding up to his den. It was Sky, a larger female who had wolfish characteristics. “Thank you, Sky.” He nodded his thanks to her when she presented him the rabbit. He hadn’t eaten any after Night’s death and he wasn’t sure if he could.

Avalon | 5 | Oak Tribe| Lieutenant | M: Cawls (ref), Natan (ref), Naruto (ref), Breeze, Avalon looked around, noticing the odd little dog beside him. Cawls, he thought, what a weird name for a weird dog. He hoped that the other dogs were forming into their groups so that the day could begin. He noticed Natan talking to the hunting group, so that was good. He liked to watch other dogs, it was a way to see their personalities. He realized that the alpha had returned. That was good, maybe she’d want to join the hunt or patrol. He stood up to ask her, careful not to knock against the little long dog who sat next to him. “Hello, Alpha.” He came up to her after Naruto had left. He liked to call her by her title as a sign of respect. “I see you are back from your walk. The patrols are yet to leave if you want to join one.” He wondered if she’d be up to it still, as she still seemed distracted. He wondered by what. Was it the incident that was traveling through everyone’s minds or was it something more personal. He looked back to where Naruto had walked away. He couldn’t help but slightly cock his head to the left. Was there something going on? He lightly smirked at this prospect. The pack needed pups and he had imagined different pairs of mates, but he never thought about the alpha having a litter.
