Luna/3/Female/Warrior/Ash Luna looked at Qulio and laughed. She thought still trying to impress as always. She turned back to Rue and said "Well umm.... I'm not sure maybe upset due to the fact of just a pup being killed on our territory but I'm trying to look at the bright side I guess I don't know Rue." Luna looked at Rue sadly and said "What about you how do you feel about this?" Luna looked at Rue and then at Qulio. She tried to stay happy but it was hard knowing a pup was killed especially with it being Night. She was such a sweet dog and whoever had killed her I will tear to pieces thought Luna. She looked back at Rue but didn't say anything else. Luna thought about how the patrol came back and told everything. She had been sad and surprised that Night had been mauled and she would do the exact same thing to whoever had harmed and killed Night. She thought about Bryn and how he must be feel so sad and with her death Bryn won't be able to retire Edited at February 27, 2022 12:02 PM by Shadow-Wolf

Naruto/Male/6/Oak/Warrior Naruto had just woke up and looked around to see most dogs up. He remembered that the shaman for the ash tribe had been found died on Oak territory. He wasn't sure what was gonna happen now so he continued to walk around camp. He decide to go outside of camp and get a drink. There was a stream nearby camp and he walked to it. The stream was about 3 or 4 miles from camp. Naruto had finally made it to the stream and bent down to take a drink. He then smelled rabbit and thought it would be okay to hunt right. He got down in to a hunting position and started to stalk the rabbit. He finally saw the rabbit but it was a female with a few babies so he turned and walked away. He was disappointed that he wasn't able to get any food but he headed back to camp none the less. Naruto looked around camp and thought no pups well its less mouths to feed but they are the future of the pack. He headed in the direction of the alpha's cave and when he was at the entrance he said "Breeze are you awake?" Edited at February 27, 2022 02:48 PM by Shadow-Wolf

Breeze / 6 / Female / Oak Tribe / Alpha Breeze blinked slowly and looked around her den, she had not slept well, and had been awake long before she heard the stirrings of the Tribe outside her den. The previous day haunted her, filling her brain and buzzing in her ears. She knew that she would get the blame, her pack's territory was where the Shaman's apprentice, Night, was found dead. Ever since she had heard about it, she had not been able to get it out of her head. The idea that it could have been one of her own pack members made her extremely furious, the Ash Tribe should not have had to suffer, she knew that she would be very ashamed if it was a dog from the Oak Tribe who commited this terrible crime. On the other hand, however, if it was a rogue, a dog from neither pack, she would worry that it would attack other dogs from the two tribes. Perhaps she should send more patrols, she thought anxiously. Her head spun, and she buried her snout under her paws, sighing with worry... "Breeze are you awake?" She heard the soft voice coming from outside, Naruto, she thought. "Yes, come in Naruto, I have not slept." She unburied her head from her paws, and sat up, the soft, sandy dirt beneath her sinking in between her claws. Edited at February 27, 2022 03:41 PM by Spiritus Lunae

Naruto/6/male/Oak/Warrior Naruto walked into the den and looked at Breeze worried. He said "Breeze do you need to talk?" He looked her over she did look very tired and he thought it must be the fact of the Shaman apprentice death. He thought this better be a rouge or if it was a package I won't hesitate to kill them just for Breeze. Naruto had looked at Breeze and moved to sit in front of her. He said "If you need rest I can organize hunting patrols and border patrols?" Natural looked at her worried the pack need her but also he need her. He curled his tail around his body and waited for a response. If he thought about it he wondered who had killed the apprentice. He wasn't sure but he would do everything he could to find the culprit. He wasn't able to sleep either last night. He didn't actually go to sleep till Midnight. Naruto to hope she would choose to get some sleep or at least let him organize things for her. Naruto to looked Breeze in the eyes as he waited. Edited at February 27, 2022 04:36 PM by Shadow-Wolf

Breeze / 6 / Female / Oak Tribe / Alpha Breeze smiled slightly as Naruto came to sit next to her. Such a loyal dog, and friend, and... She thought, blushing slightly as she didn't finish the sentence in her head. She had often wondered about Naruto as a mate, she would see to that soon, she thought.
"No that's okay Naruto, but could you go and ask Avalon to sort that please. Then you could maybe joina hunt or patrol yourself? I think I need to, just to clear my head." She stood up, tilting her head upwards to look at Naruto, his large frame sitting tall beside her. She flicked her tail and stretched, before padding out of the den. She paused, sniffing the air, No fresh prey.
Breeze trotted over to Avalon, before looking back to see where Naruto was. She sat down beside her lieutenant, sighing and shaking her head. "I am worried Avalon. Pure and simply worried. What if the criminal was a rogue!? The dog could come back and attack our ranks or the Ash Tribe's a second time!" She shivered, her body numb with worry as a small gust of wind came through the camp. She sighed heavily and lay down, burying her head in her paws and flicking her ears over her eyes. Naruto/6/Male/Warrior/Oak Naruto looked at her as she padded out of the den and thought so beautiful. Before she left he called out "I will hunt for you." He said this in a flirty tone. He thought that Breeze would need her time alone but he decided to leave her with that. He looked around after she left and then stood up and padded out of the den himself. He head on Avalons direction. He walked up to him and said "hey Breeze want you to Sort the hunting patrols and border patrols, I'm telling you because she needed to go clear her head." Naruto said "if possible I would like to be on a hunting patrol." He looked at Avalon waiting for an answer. He sat down again and curled his tail around his body. He looked at Avalon and said "Besides that how is your morning besides the incident that happened yesterday." Naruto tried to sound as neutral as possible but it didn't work out as well as he had hoped it would. Naruto looked at Avalon waiting and watching. Edited at February 27, 2022 05:07 PM by Shadow-Wolf

Breeze / 6 / Female / Oak Tribe / Alpha Hearing his flirty comment she grinned and wagged her tail in recognition that she had heard. Breeze saw Naruto come over and quickly unburied her head. Stretching and yawning, she sat up and listened to him. She nodded and trotted away to the entrance of the camp, wanting to hunt alone for the morning. She inhaled the earthy air, feeling the soil beneath her paws as she ran quietly through the forest. Coming upon the boder she trotted along it, eventually coming to a small rabbit den just before the stream. Pausing, she stuck her nose near the entrance to the burrow, smelling at least one rabbit inside. Concentrating she thrust her nose into the burrow and snapped down on the hind leg of a rabbit. The juices washed through her mouth and she sighed... Breeze killed the rabbit swiftly and pulled it out, her ears flicking cautiously as if she was waiting for the criminal dog to come up behind her. She knew that she was shaken to the bone about the apprentice's death, just like most of the other dogs in the two tribes. Her thoughts wandered to Naruto when she trotted back to camp, then to the dead apprentice. Again. Edited at February 27, 2022 05:41 PM by Spiritus Lunae

Pastora | F | Ash Tribe | 3.5 | Warrior Pastora snapped out from thinking and looked at Cirrus. Pastora sat up and smiled slightly. "I'm doing fine. How are you?" Pastora asked. She saw most of her tribe members starting to awaken. Pastora's smile then faded, thinking back to the apprentice. How could anyone do such a terrible thing?? I swear, if it was the other tribe, they may never see the light of day....no. Just the doer. Whoever had done it should be executed for their crime. Pastora thought. It was wrong for the other tribe to do such a thing. Maybe it was an outsider or even our pack. I doubt it though. Pastora then looked to Cirrus again, waiting for his response.

Avalon | 5 | Oak Tribe| Lieutenant | M: Oak Pack Avalon had just sat down to scratch one of his pointed ears when his alpha came over him. He immediately quit his vigorous itching in respect despite that it still tickled. He could tell that she was in a blue mood although her tail wagged from a flirtatious comment made by Naruto. He patiently listened to her and although she did not specify to what she was anxious about, he knew it was about Night. Everyone was talking about the little black dog. He opened his mouth to respond. But would could he say? It very well could’ve been a rogue and saying that there was not a threat would be a lie. And he would never lie to his alpha. He couldn’t promise that the problem will resolve without trouble, either. So he grunted in response and lowered his head in both thought and worry. He didn’t really care about Ash. It could kill them all one by one and he wouldn’t really care unless they were on his land. He heard the sound of steps coming his way and looked around and saw a black, tan and white male. It was Naruto. Avalon stood up and noticed that Breeze had left. That was curious. Are they having issues? He wondered. Of course, it could just be her sorrowful mood that made her leave. Anyway, it wasn’t any of his business so he shouldn’t prod. However, he couldn’t help but be inquisitive. He turned around and listened to what he had to say. “Thank you for telling me,” Avalon responded. Since she had told him to tell him, he decided that he’d assume that everything was okay between the couple. He looked at the other dog, trying not to be obvious that he was inspecting his build. He was a fluffy one with a scissors bite and his body looked like it was made to run. “Yes, you can be in a hunt.” He looked around and thought about who should be where. There were nine dogs eligible, since the alpha was away. He decided to have four hunters and five patrollers. He’d prefer to have more hunters than patrollers, but yesterdays activities were cause enough for a larger patrol. For the patrol, he was thinking of both observant dogs and also muscular ones in case of a fight. Raven, a large, sleek, blood lusting female might be overzealous to attack. He decided that she’d be best for a hunt. Her long legs would be good for it. At her side was the long and short Cawls. He wasn’t very impressive and he was sort of chunky. I’ll come back to him, he thought. He wasn’t sure what to do with him, he wasn’t large enough for a fight with a dog, but wasn’t great a hunt either. The little dog would probably get the last spot available. He looked back at Kaylie and Mike. They’d be best apart, just in case they got too wrapped up in each others eyes on a patrol. Kaylie will hunt while Mike patrols. Nymph was one of the shorter ones, but driven to protect. She’d be patrol. Ringer would be in patrol, his large body might not be the most suited to chasing rabbits. Hopefully he won’t go insane, Avalon thought, insane….What if Ringer killed the apprentice? He’d have to finish that thought later. Natan was a good team worker, something that was necessary for hunting. That left Cawls in patrol because he planned for himself to be in it as well. He nodded to himself and announced it to the pack, letting Natan lead. While Naruto was older, he felt that he was more of a follower than a leader. (Summery of Hunters/Patrollers: Hunt: Raven, Kaylie, Naruto, Natan Patrol: Mike, Nymph, Ringer, Cawls, Avalon)

Chinook || 5 || Ash Tribe Alpha || M: Everyone The large dog released a strong, medium-volume bark to grab the attention of those around him. He'd made up his mind concerning the day's events, and now it was time to relay the information. As the others turned their attention to him, he began moving in a languid circle and opened his jaw. "First, I want to begin by saying Night has been properly buried and has joined our ancestors. While she has moved on to greater hunting grounds, we continue to mourn her loss here," he announced. Chinook's eyes surveyed those gathered dogs nearest him and then continued, "It is still unknown who harmed her. Whether it was a member of the Oak Tribe, a loner, or a rogue -- we will find them. We will hunt them down, and they will pay for their disgusting actions." His voice raised and obvious anger entered his tone. Chinook took his time glaring into each of his tribe members' eyes, and then finished in a colder tone, "I pray to the ancestors that it was not one of you. That would, surely, damn you for all time." Another pause. "I want patrols upped to at least twice a day; a morning and evening patrol will complete a full circle around our territory, marking the boundaries and keeping watch for intruders. Lone dogs are to be chased off. Do not let any outsider near the camp. Each patrol will have at least two dogs. "There will be one hunt between patrols as well; These will be made up of everyone who is not signed for a patrol during that day. The number will fluctuate." Again, he paused. Taking a breath, he started again, "For this morning's patrol, I want Luna and Pastora to go. This evening will be Quilo and Mishka. The hunt will happen after the first patrol gets back. If you want to be rearranged, or if you have any questions -- or anything else, for that matter, you may talk to me. That is all." He gave a short, brisk dip of his head to dismiss them, but he stayed where he was.
