Larkspur || 3 || Alpha || M: NPC, Kalypso, Storm, Luna, Fang Larkspur was summing up the amount of wolves that could be fed with what they already had, in case the hunt came back unsuccessful, when the skirmish broke out. Standing to her full height, she stormed away from the carrion to find out what was going on, only to find Kalypso verbally trampling one of the more... outspoken females. Larkspur watched, but she did not intervene. The older female was plenty capable and one of the few wolves Larkspur fully trusted. She sent a grateful look in the beta's direction before turning back again. The smell of blood caught her nose and her eyes darted to the source. Storm was nearby, with the hunting party, but something was off. Larkspur strode over to him and narrowed her eyes at his shoulder. Whatever it was, it looked bad. Any scent of who -- or what -- was responsible was blocked by the blood, so it seemed it had been a quick scuffle. "What is this?" she demanded, voice low. There was no need to let everyone know; the male seemed to have taken quite a good beating. "How did you get it? You can't think you'll be going on a hunt with a chunk of your shoulder about to fall off." Her attention was drawn away yet again by the bold statement of the young black male, Fang. Larkspur's lips peeled back into a snarl as she glowered at him, and she said icily, "There is a hunt that needs completing and a patrol that needs finishing. A challenge now is a detriment to the pack a beta is sworn to protect." With her ears pinned and tail raised, she placed her stare on his. "Wait until tomorrow when there will be witnesses and honor in such a battle."

Fang gave a low growl before he watched her. He wasnt going to turn down the challenge happening tomorrow. "Alright" he said before he turned back to Luna, a smirk on his face before Luna glared at him. "You cannot be serious" Luna snapped at him. "This is no time to do this" she glared. She pulled Amara close before she shook her head. "You dont need to watch her. I will find someone else to watch Amara" she said, a bit louder than she meant to. Luna picked up Amara who looked like she was a bit scared seeing her adopted mother and uncle arguing over the challenging.

Amor :: 6 :: Band :: M- Sierra, Sylphrena, Czar The solid black she-wolf was gnawing on an old bone when Sierra came crashing into the area talking about plans to destroy the nearby pack. For a wolf being a year older than herself, Amor expected Sierra to act as such. "My god, Sierra, do you hear yourself? You're just asking for us to get killed! We are already having difficulties getting food. We don't need idiots trying to take charge of things around here." Amor practically snapped at Sierra. She wasn't sure if it was from her tired of dealing with this kind of stupidity everyday or it's from the lack of food nowadays. What she also didn't like was Sierra asking for Czar in particular. As if his opinion matter above the rest. Czar is probably one of wolves she despises most in the band. His ideal way of showing strength by preying on the weak and helpless just boils her blood at times. This kind of thing shows how much of a coward a wolf is in her opinion. Her lack of trust in him also doesn't help the situation. Amor is surprised Czar's ego hasn't forced for the two to fight. Or at least fight until the other can no longer function properly. Amor refuses to bow down and praise the pathetic excuse of a wolf. She sees no use on trying to be "buddy buddy" with him. As Sylpherna began to put some sense into Sierra, Amor bit down hard on her bone. It would be no help to chew out the wolf any more. Although, her hackles were visibly up as her tail lashed harder than it did just a few minutes ago. Maybe it would be best to rest somehwere else for the time being.

Midnight kept howling, the sharp pitifull sound echoing through the wood's. She tried to stand again but fell. Around her the bushes rustle. " H-Hello? A-Anyone there? " She whimpered. The cringefull noise of a hyena echo's around her. She yelp's, her ear's pinned back. She crawl's to the nearest tree and climb's under it's roots.

Storm limped over to the growling wolves. "What is going on here?" He said and licked the bite in his shoulder. Stupid band wolf. He thought and sat down. "Fang, don't do it. Your asking to get killed." He tried to put his paw down but pain struck his shoulder right as he put it down and he winced. "I dont want to watch one of you die. We are supposed to be working together, right?" Storm put one of his paws a little foward. "Aren't we supposed to go hunting now? Or did I miss something?" Storm put his paw back. Please don't fight. I dont want to watch Luna's brother die or this beta wolf. He thought..

Fang glared towards Storm. "The fight doesnt need to be until death" he said coldly before he rolled his eyes. "Just until one gives up." He looked towards Luna and Amara who were already on the other side of the camp, not looking at him. Luna was still looking for someone to watch Amara. He knew Luna didnt believe that he thought Larkspur was a weak alpha, but as Beta he could prove it to her, and he smirked. His sister would see.

Storm started to bristle. "Do you need to fight?! Or is it possible can you earn becoming beta by loyalty?!?! You don't need to fight! You can achieve your rank another way other then fighting!" Storm stood up and looked at Fang snarling. "You don't need to fight!" He repeated. He wanted to slap that smug face right off him but he knew if he attacked him it would be being disloyal, so he just growled, trying to intimidate Fang with his huge size. Fang growled at Storm. "You're still new to the way packs work, but if a beta isnt doing their job, you fight to get them out. Simple as that" he said rather coldly. The black and brown male bared his teeth. "And you are not the alpha to approve or deny the challenge." He kept his voice even and cold. While he "respected" the alpha rank, and he wouldnt our right challenge, he needed to work his way up, and going for beta would make it easier.

Storm bared his fangs and half opened his mouth threatening to bite him. "Fang you don't need to do this! I don't want to see you die!! Cause you dont back down in a fight!!" Storm looked over at the beta and then looked back at Fang. "And don't make fun of me for being new!" Storm stepped and put his face really close to Fang's and tryed to make him lower his head. He opened his mouth bareing his fangs even more. He snapped his jaws closed and make a loud clicking noise with them. Is it impossible to wipe his smug look off? Sierra-7 years-Band - - Sierra woke up and heard lots of snarling and snapping. I have to get back to the band. She stood up and dashed out of the Pack's territory. She reached the Band's home with her back bruised from getting thrown into the tree. "Hey guys." She layed down. "Maybe I should listen to you for once." She looked at her bruised back and growled. "I attacked one of the Pack's wolves. And he threw me into a tree." She looked at Czar. "He's weak now though. I bit his shoulder real good. He was left limping." She looked at the Band again. "I'll have a bruise for awhile though." She looked back at Czar. Edited at October 5, 2021 12:04 PM by Isa's Pack
