Char--3--Sub Male--Open A thick-furred, coal-black male wolf lazily opened his amber eyes and perked his ears as the new Alpha called out orders. He slowly stretched from his curled up position and shook his coat to help wake himself up. No need for me to be tired on the job, he thought, and I better be in the hunting crew. Char didn't despise patrolling, but it wasn't fun. There was always one wolf who always bragged on their superior experience and bored them with their "knowledge". They also ended up distracting the party instead of keeping them alert for anything new, which was the whole point of patrolling. Wolves like this made Char want to sink his teeth into their scruff to get them to shut up. But that wouldn't be fair. Not to Char, at least. He was by far the smallest, wimpiest, male wolf in the entire pack and would instantly be butchered. So he kept his fangs to himself, but his mind would play with the notion of attacking the annoying speaker. It was sort-of surprising that he wasn't an omega. He trotted over to where the betas were in hopes that he would be chosen as a hunter. Edited at October 3, 2021 08:31 PM by Howler

Autumn || 3 || Loner || M: Mushroom (Mother) Autumn sat on a high ledge, observing the pack from afar. Larkspur, the newest alpha, had just finished addressing the pack’s assignments for the evening. The betas start to form patrols after the alpha’s address. A few wolves wandered up to them, looking to be given a task. Autumn huffs, uninterested in the daily routine of the pack. She lays down roughly, hanging her front paws off the edge. She scanned the clearing, looking for a specific. The amber she-wolf started to grow anxious, being unable to find what she was looking for. There, a familiar black - almost gray - coated wolf had wandered out of her den. She seemed stiff, causing Autumn to lightly cringe. Her mother was looking weaker than she had the last time the amber wolf came to ‘visit’. It often caused Autumn to wonder whether or not the pack was able to supply its members with enough food. The lingering smell of elk and other prey animals told her they were. So why does she look like she hasn’t been eating? In a moment of irony, the loner’s stomach grumbles, calling for its own supply of sustenance. Autumn glances at her flank before casting one last glance towards her mother. She then stands and pads off, disappearing into the turning late-summer leaves. Edited at October 3, 2021 08:22 PM by High Hills Pack

Kappa—3—Omega—M: Char (alive), “Selfish” (Deceased), Rai (Deceased), Twine (Deceased), Open Kappa watched her elder brother, Char, head over to where the other subordinates were. She sat on her haunches as she longed to join them. If only my stupid leg wasn't crooked! She thought angry to herself and stared at her useless left leg. Why did I have to fall! Of course, she could’ve been omega even if her leg was straight. She had been born without her left eye as it hadn’t fully formed while in the womb. Her mother was too old for pups and her oldest brother had soaked up most all the nutrients only to die at birth. Kappa often cursed him underneath her breathe, despite he was unnamed by their mother. Kappa only referred to him as Selfish. She stared at the perfect-legged, two-eyed, healthy wolves through her white right eye, which showed barely a tint towards yellow. She was often jealous of her older brother’s perfect features, even his exaggerated hair-length. If only I could see and walk properly, she thought, then I would be among the normal. This was of course not true, as she and her brother were always outsiders from the group, mainly due to Char's fault and partially from being orphans not only once, but twice. When their mother found Quicksilver's, no, Larkspur's pack, she prepared a life for her children by placing them in the care of an omega named Twine. Then their mother died. Twine loved them like they were her own until she was caught by an avalanche. And often Kappa would talk to both of them. Edited at October 3, 2021 08:29 PM by Howler

Storm-4 years-Subdornate - - Storm shook the nervous look off his face and looked up at Luna with his blue eyes glowing in the light and was about to say something before pausing. He stared at the she wolf noticing how beautiful she is. Finally focusing again he said. "Wanna come for a walk with me maybe? Maybe get to know each other?" He looked away again with the nervous look back on his face. He hoped she couldn't tell that he admired her. He stood up and started licking his obsidian black fur to hide even more nervousness spreading on his face. I hope she doesn't know already.. Getting nervous again he hid his face waiting for her reply. Edited at October 3, 2021 07:43 PM by Isa's Pack

Sierra-7 years-Band - - Sierra walked across the grass that crunched beneath her feet on a afternoon walk to clear her mind our. I don't want to fight the pack eventually. Sierra thought as she padded across the soft ground. They all sound so nice to be around. She lifted her head up to the sky and let out a howl. She noticed a rabbit scuffling around for food and dropped into her hunting position. She creeped closer to the fluffy, plump, rabbit. It's so close! Sierra thought. Focusing again she pounced straight on the rabbit and killed it with claws to its spine. Sierra carried the rabbit back to the band territory and found a shady spot to eat her rabbit. I still feel like a loner.. She thought as she dug her fangs into the rabbit flesh and finished it in a few big bites. She yawned and put her head down on the grass to try to take a nap after the hunting for almost the whole afternoon. Edited at October 3, 2021 06:21 PM by Isa's Pack

Luna- 3yrs- Sub Female- M: Storm Luna watched the male before she gave a small shrug. "It depends on what they have us do before I can agree for a walk" she replied. The beta's needed to make up their mind who would hunt, who would patrol, and Luna couldnt just say yes to a walk if she were to go hunting. *Then again, I couldnt really say yes if it were us patrolling either* she thought, knowing that with patrolling she would need to be alert more than just talking. She glanced back towards the beta's, wondering if they were going to make their choice soon. *I really hope so* she thought as she twitched her tail.

Storm-4 years-Subdornate - - Storm looked over at the where the betas stood and he started to walk away. Turning around he said to Luna "I have to go now." Storm quickly walked away and plopped back down in the shade. He looked down at his black paws. Could I have waisted anymore time than that? It's useless trying to make friends! Totally useless! Storm thought and put his head down on the soft, grass floor. Why did I just talk to her. It benefited our pack by nothing! Storm half wanted to go back over there and talk to her again. He liked seeing her calming eyes and her beautiful white fur. There's always tomorrow... Storm sighed and closed his blue eyes. I shouldn't talk to her though... Silent as a snake, Storm stood up and snuck out of the camp. Once he was out of the camp he sped up and started running. He dashed over to the territory border. Once he reached the border he sat under a tree and stared out at the distant territory. Maybe I should've waited till the betas made their decision on who will go. No all they would look at me as is a useless rat waiting to be pounced on.. Maybe I can just leave the pack. I'm useless anyway I do nothing but lay around like an elder.. But I should still try to help... He Sighed and stood up, and walked slowly back to home with his head down. Once he reached the home he flopped back down under his tree and sat there waiting to see if he has to do anything or not. Edited at October 4, 2021 06:11 PM by Isa's Pack

Sierra-7 years-Band Storm-4 years-Subdornate - Sierra woke up from her nap and stretched and she stood up. Time to spy on the pack. She snuck out of the Band's territory and ran quickly over the the Pack's border. She walked into it stealthily and looked around for the Pack's home. She listend for noise and and sniffed for the scent to the camp. Sierra heard some quiet walking sounds and she went towards the noise. She followed to where the noise came from and saw wolves walking around. This must be it. She thought and hid in a bush where she could see the wolves and their talking was close enough for her to hear it. She scanned the crowd and saw a big, black wolf laying in the shade. She snuck over behind him and whispered, "Hey, You there black wolf." His head spun around with his ears up in the alert position. "Come with me." Sierra whispered in his ear. "Ok.." He said. And stood up. They walked over to the edge of the territory in a spot with some loose rocks. "Meet me here everynight, by the way, what's your name?" Sierra said. "I'm Storm, and you?" Storm said. "Sierra's the name" She replied. "I have to get back to my pack. See you tonight." He said. "Ok see ya." She replied. I'll wait here for him. She thought and followed him. Once Storm was back in his shady spot, She walked back over to the spot they met and waited there.

Czar || 4 || Band || M: Autumn (Unknown Affiliation) Czar ignores the bark of the approaching wolf, focusing on the actions of the other wolves within the group. Most seemed to be fighting for dominance while others were lounging or taking a nap in the shade. A few more were entering and exiting the camp, but he paid them no mind. Stretching, Czar stands, towering over more wolves with his broad build. He trudges forward, growling and snapping at any wolves in his way. He was ensuring that they knew their place. After all, he didn’t want to wound another band wolf at the moment. They were already too close to encountering the pack. Ah, the Twin Falls Pack. Haven’t seen them in ages. I wonder how Autumn is doing, now that she left, the large tan male pondered, looking to the outer edge of their makeshift camp. He could go looking for her once more, but he had already done so today. Besides, he had to start planning for the encounter with the pack. Czar chuffs, trying to earn the attention of his fellow band members. May as well begin now. Edited at October 4, 2021 11:02 PM by High Hills Pack

Slade || 4 || Subordinate || M: Pack The slate and white male listened quietly as assignments began to be divvied up between the wolves. One hunting group and one patrol; the rest would stay in camp. Slade's eyes danced across the small gathering, taking in each wolf's reactions to their callings. The Hunting wolves would Storm, Luna, Char, and Kyrie. Those chosen to Patrol were himself, Mateo, and Spectra. The beta male would join the hunt, and Kalypso would take lead on the patrol. Larkspur would watch the camp, as she had already participated in two hunts. Slade took a few languid steps to one side, next to Kalypso. He didn't mind a patrol every once in a while, and he had already done his fair share of hunting as well, so this would be a nice break. Besides, none of his pack members' lives were really reliant on his effectiveness in walking in a circle. Edited at October 5, 2021 01:00 AM by Rising Shadows
