Kalypso | Beta Female [ Imma just jump in lmao] The autumn colored dame was peeved to say the least. Everything was going wrong, and she saw Larkspur leaving to go inform the others in the camp of what was going on. The dame hissed through her teeth in annoyance. Damn loners, she inwardly seethed. She using her nose to follow a scent trail, one of a metallic scent - blood, but foreigen blood. She instantly lightened her steps and lowered herself. It would be hard to tell that she was stalking the two. However, the sound of a pup caught her ears. She frowned as she spotted the little pup fiercly approaching the strangers. This was bad. She was near the more selcuded areas, and could lead to other members being harmed. She noted Storm, her packmate who was the injured wolf. She trained her eyes on the larger wolf who was about to attack Storm, and swiftly she intercepted the attempted tackle with one of her own. She growled and bared her fangs. Her eyes were sharp and full of malice as she laid eyes on the intruder - she firmly placed her paw on his throat and even dug her claws in slightly as a warning, and using her hind legs she stepped down on his legs to incapacitate him. It might not hold long, but it would do. "Storm, take that pup and run. Thats not a suggestion - it's an order. Go as fast as your legs can take you, now!" Her voice was urgent and commanding. Her eyes were still trained on the wolf below her, and she made sure he didn't try anything. Edited at October 27, 2021 01:05 PM by Spellbound

Midnight|M: Kalypso, Sirrius, Storm Midnight stared up at them expecting an answer. She saw the attack from behind and yelped. She shut her eye's and waited for the snap as they fell. It came. When she opened her eye's she was surprised to see another wolf holding down the attacker. She stumbled away in fear before collecting herself and approaching the new wolf, only to be frightened again. She didnt know these three and wanted answers. She collected herself once more and walked up to the new wolf. Snarling, or at least trying to, she approaches the new wolf, who was holding the attacker. " Who are you? " She snarled, as best as she could. Her tail was held high. When the new wolf told the bloodied wolf to take her and run she heard their name, Storm. They knew each other. She snarled again, demanding an answer. " Who are you? Why does he have to take me and run? Im more then capable of dealing with you guy's. To prove her point she scratched the pinned attacker. She looked back up, her fur bristeled and teeth bared, just as she had learned. " Tell me. " Edited at October 27, 2021 01:14 PM by Bloody Revenge

Sirius—4—Band—M: Storm, Kalypso, Midnight It all happened in a blur. One moment he was about to drag down the escapee and the next he was the one pinned. He recognized pressure on his throat and legs by a new scent. He realized he was in trouble. He hadn’t realized that the hostage had made it so far. He looked up to see a female pack wolf on top of him. He studied his new opponent. She was a rich earthy wolf with a grizzled vizard around her eyes. She was about average size, so smaller than himself but well-muscled. His eyes met her killer gaze and he heard the deep rumble in her throat, her teeth bared and ready to strike. Oh yes, this was definitely the last wolf you’d like to tussle with. She reminded him slightly of Czar but with more honor and a hundred percent more prettier, but is that really a compliment? Then a fluffy black puppy walked up. Sirius stared up at it. It was so adorable. It spoke some bravado and then scratched him. It didn't hurt much more than a briar would. He wanted to laugh, but he didn't because he had more serious things to attend to. So while the earthy female responded, he concentrated on himself. He breathed calmly, thinking about what he should do next. If he stayed put he’d become the captive and there was only the unknown on how he’d be treated. If he fought, there would be a good chance that he wouldn’t make it out of pack territory because the rest of the pack would catch up to him. He doubted that he’d have enough time to take her down and retreat, despite the size difference. He contemplated his choices for a while. He decided to bide his time. The rest of the prisoner’s guard shouldn’t be too far away, after all. They could help. And if they didn’t come then he’d be taken into camp and held captive without as many wounds as he would have if he did choose to fight. Until some other wolves (whether band or pack) showed up, he decided to stay still, stay silent and conserve energy. He knew he wouldn't like the odd awkward, unnerving silence between him and the earthy female with her hateful eyes glaring down at him. But it was a small price to pay for either torment or salvation. Edited at October 27, 2021 03:14 PM by Howler

Storm-4 years-Subdornate Kalypso Band "Kalypso!" Storm howled. "There are more of them!" But he didn't disobey her command, he grabbed the pup and ran back to the territory as fast as he can. He felt instantly home right as he touched the border. Kalypso I hope you don't get hurt. He thought and sped up faster. He sort of recognized the trees and the path and he smelled other wolves. I might be in camp soon! With Larkspur and Luna and I hope Fang is okay, I wouldn't want him to just die. He felt his paw trip on a stone and he yelped through a mouthful of fur as he felt the sharp end tear his pad. He thought he dropped the pup for a second. Relief shot through him when he noticed the pup was safe. Storm could scent the camp and he could slightly hear the sounds of others talking. He felt his side burn again and he decided to ignore it. He recognized the entrance to the camp and he burst through, feeling all his scratches burn. He set the pup down gently and backed up and collapsed on the floor half in pain and half tired from running. He panted hoping no one noticed how weak he was right now. He closed his eyes half way. I probably look so stupid right now. I hope no one cares. He shut his eyes for a second and opened them again. Edited at October 27, 2021 03:52 PM by Isa's Pack

Kalypso | Beta Female | Mentions: Storm, Sirius More of them? She thought as he took off with the pup. She glared at the male for a second - what to do with him. Obviously if she took him to the campsite then the other members could follow and it would be a big fight. If she killed him and ran off then she'd have no problems - However, she didn't want to kill him. He was complying and likely devising his own strategy of escape. What to do. He was only 2 inches taller than him so he had height advantage, but she had more fighting experience. She released pressure off of him, and nipped him harshly and bared her fangs, "Get off your ass and get to walkin' . Quickly." As she waited for him to get up she studied him and took in his features. Her face appeared impassive, bored even - however, she was inwardly scheming. And she moved swiftly to deter him from running and nipped him in the direction she wanted him to go. She was leading him to a more secluded and hard to find area of the territory, where they kept prisoners or disobedient wolves for a while. It was a sort of underground den that was large and spacious, the only exit on the other side was blocked by a large log and stone. She paused for a moment and sat down, a more serious expression plastered on her face, " what is your name? Are you truly loyal to this band . If not then I would like a number of the members within it and possibly a name and description of the leader. If so, why are you loyal to them? And why would you all attack a pack of wolves that have done nothing to you? Determining on how you respond will determine if I leave you in this little prison or talk about you becoming a member of the Twin Falls Pack. I don't have all day for your answers as your friends might be tracing my scent so be quick about your response."

Sirius—4—Band—M: Kalypso Sirius gingerly obeyed the harsh earthy female. She had let him up from her pin, but he didn’t dare run. She could easily outpace him due to his slow acceleration. She occasionally would nip him this way or that in a snakelike manner. He was tense the entire time as he was unsure what would happen. He was sure that he wouldn’t die, however. If she was going to kill him it would’ve been done minutes ago. Maybe there is a softie inside, he thought. He looked back at her. Her face was inscrutable and uncaring. Nah, she’s saving me for a promotion or something. Maybe as proof of the band. The two kept on until they reached a cave that smelled damp. To his surprise, she didn't push him in it, instead she sat with a grim expression. So Sirius plopped down on his hind quarters too. Then she asked a long string of questions, which he answered willingly in a respectful tone. This she-wolf was the judge of his future, so he answered honestly. “My name is Sirius.” He answered the first question. For the next question he hesitated for a second and then responded. “No,” he felt a wave of vulnerability and relief wash over him. He had never told anyone his true thoughts about the band, not even Aether. He looked up at her, “I was born into the band. I didn’t choose it.” “There are about ten of us. The leader’s name is Czar.” He felt no guilt telling her this information. Czar deserved it. “He’s one of the largest, has notched ears and scars. He’s mainly grey with some cream, tan and brown, thick coat. They want to overthrow the pack and take its place, a power move.” Edited at October 27, 2021 04:53 PM by Howler

Kalypso | Beta Female | Mentions: Sirius The dame observed the male. He was quite aggressive as most loners were. Hmmm...interesting. She watched his movements carefully and he seemed to pose no threat. Surly, he was planning on running off in some manner? But to her surprise he didn't - no, in fact he simply went with the flow. She watched as he sat down and talked to her, responding quite honestly and respectfully to the questions. 10 more wolves? Hmmm, that wouldn't be a problem for them. They had the band outnumbered, and it seemed that he wasn't loyal so maybe he could fight for the pack. And she perked her ears at the name Czar. He sounded...devious and she promptly nodded at him. "My, this is some useful information Sirius. My name is Kalypso, Beta of the Twin Falls Pack. Now that we've got that established, walk with me." And she got up again, and she looked at him with a suspicious glance but one indicating a certain mild trust, " I trust you won't run?" As she walked she asked, "I can see why they would try to make a power move . Especially when a new leader has been instated and the pack is still getting back to the norm. Hmmm, would it be possible that more members don't like this Band and would possibly side with us? I mean surely this Czar guy sounds awful and one wouldn't want a tyrant as a leader." She scrunched up her face a bit. And she went quiet, it was the most she's interacted with a prisoner - usually she was more solemn and scary in a way but he oddly made her feel...comfortable.
"Don't think I'm weak for being so casual." She randomly blurted out, and in embarrassment huffed as she sped up her pace a bit.

Autumn || 3 || Loner || M: Delta Autumn got to her feet and stared at the wolf. That move had ruffled her, but she had no intention of letting up if the stranger continued their attack. To her surprise, however, the she-wolf kept her distance with nothing but a warning in her eyes. She’s allowing me to end this fight. The loner became conflicted. On one paw, her pride refused to let her bow down and admit defeat. On the other, she did not want to risk a truly serious injury if not necessary. Winter was coming, and she needed all the strength she could get. Wasting time and energy on healing could spell death. However, the lone female did not put it past this wolf to not attack her while her back was turned. So, Autumn held the gaze of the dark coated she-wolf, offering no challenge nor fear in her gaze, and took a single step back.

Sirius—4—Band—M: Kalypso By her tone, Sirius understood that he wasn’t going to be locked up in the hole. Her name was Kalypso, a pretty, powerful name. It suites her, he thought. As she went on to explain her rank he wasn’t shocked that she had accomplished herself as beta. “I won’t run.” Sirius spoke calmly and followed her. “There might be more. None of us have ever spoken about abandoning the band in fear of consequences.” He thought about his oldest brother, Aether. He would most likely want to come, the band had never fit him. Sirius, however, wasn’t sure if he would want to join the pack. He might be more of a loner with a few friends. Coming down to this conclusion, Sirius decided not to mention Aether to Kalypso. His train of thought was cut off by her sudden outburst. Then she quickened her pace. Sirius thought over her words, "don’t think I’m weak for being so casual". What did that mean? He stood there a bit dumbfounded by the words. He shrugged it off. As he continued to follow her, he tripped on something and stumbled to keep his balance. He looked behind him to see what made him misstep. Nothing was there. It seemed he had tripped on thin air. The fur around his face seemed to have increased its warmth as he blushed. He hoped that Kalypso hadn’t seen him. It would be embarrassing for her to think of him as the wolf who couldn’t walk. In hopes of that, he quickened his pace to a trot to catch up to her. “Where are we going?”

Delta - 4 - Band - Mentions: Autumn
As much as she would have liked to, Delta stayed still, warning still in her eyes. Other than breathing and blinking, she could have been mistaken for an inanimate object. She would have liked to continue the fight, but at the moment, she recognized that it was more of a waste; and she did not want to risk serious injury. The loner held her gaze with no challenge or fear, and started backing up. Smart, in any other situation she would take advantage of a turned back; similiarly, she was not going to be the one backing off, partly because she would present herself as a target in those few fleeting moments.
So Delta stood there, waiting, energy burning in her muscles, willing herself to stay still. To not snap forward like she wanted to, after all, it was rare she would let another wolf off so easily; to let her opponent back off willingly. But she was prepared to dodge or leap forward in case the other she-wolf decided to attack after all.
