Information Tir Na Beatha Info ... Backstory (Tir Na Beatha) In Tir Na Beatha, everybody has their own spirit animal. These creatures appear once their person has proven themselves to be worthy but you will have to go to the spirit animal section if you want to find out more! ... Tir Na Beatha is a magical place hidden and protected from intruders, who can neither see nor hear of their existence, a haven, (like wakanda is hidden in the marvel movies). It is as if concealed in a entirely different dimension (and there is a theory among the inhabitants that it is) which only those entrusted with the secret can locate. The haven is unaffected by outside goings on of Earth and no modern technology exists, meaning no charging sockets for earthlings! The good people of Tir Na Beatha survive through traditional methods only. The land is like a floating island, with day and night, the only way in and out being a infinate stone bridge stretching across the nothingness at the edge, over to the portal/gateway in Earth, but it is forbidden to cross incase the Earth people find out about them. ... Tir Na Beatha is a place of dreams and wonders, they are a small people a community of very few various individuals and animals. Each member is unique and even though this will cause inevitable discord at times, it only adds to the magic of the place. ... Yet *sigh* it could not last. After years of prosperity and peace a new fear threatened the lands. A rumor has spread that the people of Earth have invaded, though the elders deny any truth in this claim. With this vague rumor no-one is certain of details, (and many doubt there even is any hint of an invading army? colony? teenage gang with no idea of the trouble they've caused?) who are they and what do they want? That's for you to find out. ... Do you believe in the invasion or not, what will you do about it? ... Backstory (Earth human) Meanwhile the humans of Earth marvel at the new discovery, a portal? It only took one person to discover the bridge before all the people of Earth had heard. Some thought he/she was mad, others were in awe. Some were even able to go see the bridge for themselves. Where did it lead? ... The person who discovered the bridge wondered just this? What exactly had he found? With that burning question he formed his 'army' preparing to explore the unfamiliar land. ... What will you find? ........ ...... .... .. Spirit Animals... In Tir Na Beatha, everybody has their own spirit animal. These creatures appear once their person has proven themselves to be worthy. Well, depending on the spirit animal. For the souls with spirit wolves, it could be an act of loyalty that triggers the spirit animal out of hiding. For a snake, an act of manipulation or deceit may summon them. ... (This is not to say that people with snake spirit animals are bad and/or liars.) ... For ages past many have known that most people have land or air-borne animals' yet it is not rare for a spirit to bond a Water creature. ... This phenomenon would likely be a problem if it weren't for the vast landscape of rivers, lakes and seas where those water-bound souls can enjoy their short life. ... Once bonded the animal and human are tied to each other, in life and death, whatever happens to one will be a curse to the partner too. If one dies, procures disease or injury the other is condemned also. However this tie is a blessing and both are unwaveringly bonded in mind, with experience you may learn to peer into the other's senses and thoughts, communicate telepathic, merge and even acquire the other's abilities. ... One of the first gifts you will learn is the ability to draw another into yourself, a human can draw the animal into themselves and said creature will appear as a tattoo on a chosen patch of skin, however the human will have full control (not to be confused with merging in which you can do a similar thing but both have equal controls, the downside of which is that thoughts will be a muddle as two instead of only one are thinking). ... This surmises the Spirit animal bond for now :) You understand? ... ....... ..... ... . Territory There are 5 main sections of the terrritory and here is where you'll find any information. ... Village (centre)- The land where homes, buisnesses and schools are, in the village there are... 1x School, where all children attend 1x Market, where all people can sell their goods (Foods, houseware, clothes, etc) 1x Clinic, where all your medical needs are met 1x banquet hall, where the greatest meetings and feasts take place 1x Cheif's hut, where the cheif or cheifess and their family dwell Infinate x Houses, where all the rest live (all the buildings are small and stone, with thatched roofs) ... Farmland (East)- The peple here do not believe in the farming of animals (reasonable since they are so close to them) and instead resort to hunting for meat. However most souls with herbiverous Spirit Creatures do not eat meat and instead rely on the orchards and crops of the farmland. In said farmland they grow any available vegetation, the main of which are, wheat, barley and other grains, apples, blackberries, carrots, potatoes and similar items. As well as food they also grow herbs as spices and medication as they don't have things like paracetemol. ... Forsest (West)- It is what it says and every tree imaginable grows here, Oaks, pines, apple, birch, beach, tall and small you name it, there is no shortage. The villagers collect their nescessary firewood and hunt animals from here and there is enough that they won't run out, before the trees and animals harvested/hunted grow anew! ... Loch (South)- A large, clear, freshwater, ice cold lake sits at the south of Tir Na Beath before the land drops to nothingness. It is fed by the large river that winds through the forest and if filled to the brim with fish. Perfect for swimming, relaxing and fishing! It is surrounded by a couple trees, large rocks, sandy banks, seaweed and a meadow. ... Coast (North)- The sea and beach are large and luxurios (no litter here). The water is frozen and often choppy but that is part of the beuaty. The beach is vast and dotted with rocks and streams with a border of long coarse costal grass and greenery. ...... ..... ... . Events ... Bonding Parties A bonding is the most exciting thing to happen ever at Tir Na Beatha, each is possibly the greatest milestone in the bonder's life and should be celebrated thus. Celebrations for a bonding can last for days, including feasts, ceilidhs and Sport! ... Council Meetings These meetings only involve the elders and the chief unless anyone else is summoned by the chief or council of elders. They will decide on politics, harvest and anything of great and delicate importance to the community. ... Village Meetings Similar to the council meetings but everyone in the village has to attend unless the chief has exempt them. Children are expected to come but it is optional for anyone under 18. If a child attends however they are not expected to speak and only in rare occasions is this allowed. ... New Year They love they're celebrations in Tir Na Beatha and from the celebrations for new years are the best of the festivals, lasting a week. There are activities, games and competitions for any age as well as the usual ceilidhs, feasts, etc and it is the best of times to let loose and have fun. ... Seasonal Festival At the beginning of each season there is a 2 day long festival, in which they celebrate and have fun, enjoying most of the things they do on the new years celebrations. ...... ..... ... . Ranks (Tir Na Beatha) ... Chief- The head of the village making most of the decisions, he may be challenged if seen necessary and the elders will decide his/her suitability for the job. If there is no current Chief an election will take place. .... Elders- A council of the 5 oldest in the community who help the chief in decisions and are the court to the village. If one of the elders is unsuitable for the position will go to the next oldest in the village. ... Exempt- The people who are unable to help out in the village due to age or illness, parentage etc. Their case must be approved by the chief. ... Hunters- Hunt/fish for food in the forest and lake. ... Warriors- Highly honored people, trained to protect the people and animals. They are warriors, law-keepers and guards ... Traders- These people sell, handmade and natural goods to the villagers at the market, please put what type of goods they sell in form; Eg, blacksmith, tailor, potter ... Teens (13-18yrs)- The teenagers of the village are given more responsibility than the children, expected to help out. They will usually learn the family trade but can take out an apprenticeship if an adult is able and if it is approved by an elder. Only one apprentice per adult. ... Tweens (10-12yrs)- Unable to take out an apprenticeship but can still learn the family trade. They are closer watched than teens but not as controlled as the young children. ... Infants & Young Kids (9-yrs)- An adult will almost always be watching these children and are hardly ever allowed anywhere alone, never outside the village. ....... ..... ... . Ranks (Earth Humans) ... Cheif- The guy/gal who found the gateway and is leading the troops into the new world ... Troops- They don't have any jobs, they just work together to survive. They can have any earthly job you want as well eg; teacher, docter, astronaut. Have to be over 18 yrs. ....... ..... ... . Village Rules 1. Carlos ll 14 ll Teen ll M: Irma, Lucas, Lauki Carlos paused, the point if his arrow quivering slightly and he sensed something to his right, towards the fields. Keeping his bow steady he looked sideways, only to see Irma striding towards the village away from him. He sighed, feeling his face colour up a little. Then he turned back to the task at hand. The stag had moved a small way to the left, walking steadily towards a large patch of grass in the forest. Carlos followed it swiftly with the notch of his bow and fired. Silently the arrow hit its target, a little off perhaps, but the stag still went down. Carlos nodded to Lauki, the lion by his side and he bounded off, snatching the stag by the neck and killing it. Carlos jogged over and slung the stag over his back, his face showing the pride of his catch. He lashed the stag’s legs together over his shoulders and around his waist and traipsed towards the village, stopping every now and then to check that the stag was tied tightly on. He came out of the forest, seeing Irma ahead. Blushing profusely he changed direction and headed towards the flat paddocks on the other side of the village. Spying Lucas on Juno he hastened towards the pair, Lauki keeping up with every stride. Lucas ll 14 ll M: Carlos, Lauki, Juno Lucas took Juno through her paces, focusing on practicing their battle moves. She was alert and sensitive, working well with him and reacting to the slightest of instructions from him. He saw a figure in the distance, and seeing the large lion loping gently at his side he instantly recognised Carlos. As the pair got closer he spotted the dee carcass on his friend’s back and smiled to himself, his friend always enjoyed a nice hunt. As Carlos approached, Lauki by his side, Lucas spotted the red cheeks and the somewhat distant eyes on his friend and immediately knew who Carlos had spotted.

Irma Tail/Teen She silently walked through woods, followed by Chomper, who was moving more silently and faster than most gators on land. She heard something move in a tree near by. She looked and saw them, but ignored them. Abel Tail/Teen;Hunter "Well Mickey it looks like it's just me and you for now." He said to MIckey Mouse, his spirit animal. "I know, hey want to go riding?" Mickey replied/ask. "Maybe later, let's go to town, we need some more supplies, and I got to have something sweet or I'm going to die from lack of sugar." Abel replied. "True, well come on then." Mickey said walking down the trail, that lead from their small home in the forest to town. "Wait on me." He cried, and then he added "Beat you there!"

Rowan Driscoll | 18 | Warrior | Stellar's Sea Eagle | Mentions: Irma, Lucas, Carlos, Abel Rowan blinked, squinting in the bright sunlight as he stepped outside. Draven screeched and took off, probably towards the southern coast. He took a look around and saw a group of kids near the forest. He squinted a bit more and recognized them as a group of the village teens. Even though he was technically an adult, Rowan still got along well with even the younger teens and he enjoyed spending some time with them. Unless they were all moody that particular day. Those were the days he kept his distance. He instead whistled for Draven, who wheeled around and looked at him, annoyed as he pointed in the direction of the forest. Draven flew down, landing on his shoulder and giving him an irritated screech in his ear. Nothing very unusual. He sighed. "Just work with me here, alright?" he asked, and the bird ruffled up his feathers on his head slightly. "Hey, maybe they'll join us on the beach." he said, trying to put the sea eagle in a better mood. This obviously cheered him up, as he gave him a side eye and his feathers smoothed out. Rowan grinned and started down the path to the forest, passing a guy and his colt along the way and chuckled at their antics. Abel, he believed the teen's name was. As he got closer to the other group of teens, he was able to identify them. He'd had a couple converations with them all before. "Irma, Carlos, Lucas. How're you all doing?" he asked, and Draven shuffled on his shoulder slightly, impatient to get to the beach. "I know bud, I know." he said. "Hey, we were going to head to the coast. Would you guys be game to come?" he asked, head tilting slightly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hope Caddel | 18 | Hunter | Black Panther | Mentions: Abel, group by the forest (briefly) Hope sighed, stepping outside from her small home in a secluded glade in the forest in the western region of Tir Na Beatha. There was a small river that went through it, much to Noctis' dislike. It usually had some river fish in it, although the types varied depending on the season. Sometimes a stray deer would wander into the glade. The glade was surrounded by a variety of pine trees, birch, and oaks. She didn't have to reach her hand down far before she felt the velvety fur of her spirit animal Noctis beside her. She knew it was unusual for someone to live far from the main village, but she preferred it this way. Not too many people knew of her existence, besides the chief and other important figures. Of course, this didn't mean she didn't take time to observe people. That's just how she was, she'd observe people, and get to know a bit about them without actually having to socialize. To her, that was a win win. She always wanted to know more about people, but didn't particularly care for socializing with them. She sighed, before grabbing her bow and quiver, a few knives, a deerskin she'd tanned yesterday along with the meat in a sack, and headed out into the forest with Noctis by her side. She walked a little ways before she heard voices nearby and peered through the branches of an oak to see a group of a few teenagers - one of whom was abnormally tall - chatting. She just decided to steer clear then spotted a someone who looked to only be a year or two younger than her on the path coming from the woods. She tilted her head slightly in confusion. Noctis was crouched at her side, amber/violet eyes fixed on this new person. How long had he been here in the woods without her noticing? She couldn't help but wonder. She gave a soft chuckle when she heard the conversation he was having with his colt. She then remmebered about the pelt and sack over her shoulder. She'd intended to go into town and sell the goods, and she sighed. Well, she'd hang back enough to hopefully not be noticed by the teenager. "Come on, Nox." she said, using the nickname she often did for the large cat. He glared at her as if to say You've got to be kidding me. "I'm serious, come on, we've got stuff to sell." she said, and he growled, like he was muttering under his breath before standing up fully and stalking out of the bushes, his tail swishing, clearly a bit annoyed. "It'll be fine." she said as she stepped out onto the path, beginning the journey to the town. Noctis' ears were pinned back, eyes narrowed, and his tail flicked at every other step, causing Hope to sigh. What a drama queen. she thought, adjusting the sack and hide over her shoulder. Irma Tail/Teen/Chomper She saw Rowan and gave a small wave. When he made it over to her and asked her how was her day she replied "Pretty good.". Abel/Teen;Hunter/Mickey Mouse He seen a man and sea eagle walk by, he gave them a curt nod. He turned to Mickey and said "I got to go for a few minutes for hunting." while adjusting his bow. "Your point?" Mickey asked. "I mean you got to be quiet, and don't chase of the animals. "Ok." he replied. Abel made his way silently through the forest, looking for signs of animals/prey.

Catori Nadir/Hunter/Monty Catori was quiet as she walked through the forest, listening and watching closely for any signs of potential prey. Monty walked beside her, letting out a low growl whenever his large paws almost tripped him up over a root. Just rising over the sound of a nerby bubbling brook, Catori and Monty froze at the sound of some leaves crunching, a deer coming into view moments later. She raised the bow that had been resting at her side slowly while Monty's ears pricked and his tail twitched with apprehension. With a slight nod for signal, Monty crept around the grove. The deer had just raised its head in alarm before Monty reappeared and had it running in Catori's direction. She shot the arrow just as her catch came turning around the tree she had been hiding behind, and the deer fell swiftly. Kalama Nadir/Warrior/Allegra/Mentions-People in town. Kalama walked through the town on the way to her post for the day, Allegra a few paces ahead. She nodded in greeting to those she saw around town, a friendly smile on her face. Allegra let out a sound similar to a chirp, almost as if she was urging her partner to move faster. Kalama shook her head with a smile as her cheetah started to run faster ahead.
