{Again, you're fine! I usually try to match the amount the other person is writing, and just as long as you don't only write like 3 sentences, it's alright with me!! I tend to be very detailed oriented, hence why sometimes I may write a lot, even if I don't mean to, so don't feel pressured to write more than you need to!} Finally, the other students decided to join the class. Inferno thought sarcastically. Of course, the first student to enter was the fire mage. Great. The moment he passed through the doorway, Inferno stiffened and her eyes narrowed. He glanced at her, and walked back to sit in the desk next to her. So he didn't recognize her in this form. At least that was a plus. Inferno wasn't surprised that he didn't recognize her. Even among other Hellhounds, the creatures had to use their acute sense of smell to distinguish people that they knew from others they don't. Telling who a Hellhound was just based on their fur and eye color wasn't impossible, but it was definitely hard to do. Finally, the teacher arrived, trailing the last student in through the door. "Hello creatures of all kinds, I'm Professor Peterson. I am a Fae, a forest spirit. I have the ability to control the earth around me, as well as floral life. Today, we're going t learn about the creatures we have in our class today. Starting with the front, tell me your name, your species, and your abilities." Inferno snorted lightly, and the other students in the class groaned. "I know you don't want to do this, but it's school policy, so get used to it," Professor Peterson said bluntly.

{Okay! Thank you :)} Kai paid attention to what the professor was saying. "Today, we're going to learn about the creatures we have in our class today. Starting with the front, tell me your name, your species, and your abilities." Oh fuck, I hate speaking up in front of the whole class. Kai had a little bit of social anxiety which causes him not to like talking in front of big groups of people. Most of the students spoke up except Kai and the hellhound, so it was Kai's turn. Oh shit... Kai stood up and said, "Im kai, Im a mage and uh my ability is fire I guess." He sounded nervous and was speaking more quiet. He immediately sat back down once he finished. He then turned to look at the hellhound because it was its turn.

Inferno watched as the whole class stood up and gave out the information, including the mage, Kai. When it was her turn, she sighed, got to her paws, and shifted back into her humanoid form. Her mouth twisted into a crooked, sarcastic grin as she gave everyone in the class a mock two-finger salute. "Hiya there, the name's Inferno. I'm a Hellhound, and I have Umbrakenisis and Pyrokinesis, the ability to control, manipulate, and summon shadows and fire at will. Also, depending on my energy level, I have the handy ability to control the bones of dead things." The professor's eyebrows shot up. "A fire mage and a Hellhound in the same class. Odd. This'll be an interesting year for all of us."

Kai looked at Inferno, now knowing her name. He was kind of surprised it was her but he rolled his eyes and looked towards the front of the class. He didn't want to seem interested in her. "A fire mage and a Hellhound in the same class. Odd. This'll be an interesting year for all of us." I wonder what the professor means by that. "Uhm, professor." Kai said as he semi-raised his hand. "Yes kai." "What do you mean by that exactly?" He said in a confident tone.

Inferno sat down at the desk next to Kai's, the only one left open, irritatingly. She propped up her head with her cheek resting against the palm of her hand, gazing at the professor. The professor chuckled at the fire mage's question. "Well, to answer that, I usually get creatures that don't complement each other's abilities very much. Think along the lines of an earth elemental, a fire, a wind, a storm, and water, all together. Most of them don't have a positive influence on others, which teaches them to work with their abilities around the other students. But, seeing as we have two fire-based creatures in this class, it'll be interesting to see how far you two will push each other."

He didn't respond to the teacher as his focus went to inferno. Kai rolled his eyes as she sat next to him. He paused and exhaled sharply. "Go be a dog again and lay down." He arrogantly said. He looked dead inside, he always did. He was still staring at the front of the class as he said that to her. He sighed and put his down on the desk, his arms covering his head. I really dont wanna be here.

Inferno kept her eyes on the front of the classroom where the professor had begun to teach their lesson for today, but the corner of her mouth lifted up to form a savage sneer. "What, you think just because you're a human that you can just order me around? Trust me, pretty boy, it won't work. I may be a dog, but I don't listen to anyone, and you're definitely not my master, so in your own words, piss off." She snarled, making sure to keep her voice low enough so that the professor didn't hear her remark, but loud enough that the mage sitting next to her could hear her clearly.

Kai lifted his head up as the hellhound began to speak, he glanced at her before looking back at the professor. She sure knows how to bite back, I kind of admire that about her... Kai looked back at her with a grin. Snap out of it! You cant end up liking her. His grin faded as he looked at her up and down before making his attention back to the professor.

Inferno felt his eyes on her and stiffened, resisting the urge to shoot a glare at the insufferable human. She had to admit though, ever since she left her pack and her best friend to come to this damn school, she had no one to banter or mess around with. Usually, she and Khaos would go back and forth like this, but her friend was off somewhere else at the moment, so Inferno had to either take Kai or leave him, and she wasn't going to give up on her one chance to have some fun this school year by messing with the mage. Grinning to herself, she put her full attention on the professor as he talked on and on about something. {You can time skip, if you want. I'm not so sure what else there is to add to this classroom setting lol XD}

(Time skip to the end of class) The bell rings for the end of class, Kai gets up and gathered his things. His next class was some sort of element class for fire, so only people that have fire abilities go to it. He walked confidently past Inferno, pushing her into the wall with his shoulder. He kept walking but looked back every so slightly grinning. Haha what a fucking loser. He chuckled a bit. He then found his next class getting there first. He decided to again sit at the back.
