Zyyrith As you turn the corner to the front of the Forge Tent, you're greeted with the sight of a prepared picnic table. A small table with an umbrella over it and a pretty table cloth. Along with barstools from the inn, and candles in the center. As you tap on her counter, Scout is nowhere to be found, but her voice comes from further in the tent. "Zyyrith! I'll be right out. Please, make yourself comfortable." She called, a small clattering of dishes audible under her voice. Edited at September 6, 2024 11:51 AM by Sunset Ghosts

The moth sat herself down on a barstool, they swayed slightly, waiting for Scout to exit from behind the counter. Using their comb-like bristles she brushed the fluff on her chest with her arm and combed their antenna back slightly to look less ruffled.

Zyyrith Scout soon came out of the tent in a dark red summer dress, with a silver platter on one paw and a bouquet of peach pink and yellow flowers in the other. She offers you a bashful smile as she places the platter down on the table and the flowers in a vase at the center. The platter was beautifully put together, with some cheese, meat and crackers for Scout, and a pitcher of flavored sugar Water for Zyyrith. "I hope you had a good day." She purred, her voice crackling a bit as she poured the contents of the pitcher into a glass with a straw. She then puts it in next to your notepad and sits down on her barstool. "I had a real troublesome hunk of metal this morning, turned it into a fine chestplate." She said as proudly as her nerves would allow, her cheeks constantly dusted pink beneath the fur as she struggled for what to say.

"All of this is so cute! Thank you so much, Scout!" Zyyrith wrote a bit fancier, ending her writing with a with a very happy looking smiley face. "Why'd you set all this up for just me?" They tried writing that as politely as possible as she couldnt use tone very well without a voice. She took a sip of the sugar water, very refreshing!

Scout was smiling and happy throughout the whole conversation, however when she saw your latest note, her ears flattened worriedly. "Well. I..." You could hear her choke on her words as she struggled to find them, and she quickly turned away to cough and clear her throat. "Ahem... I uh. I'll be honest, I really can't stop thinking about you. Since we met I've been... wondering- if things could be more." She clutched something hidden under her seat and pulled it out in front of you. A small box. "And I hate the idea of you out in that forest alone." She said before reaching across the table to place the box in front of you. "So... I wanted to ask if you'd be my girlfriend- but I also wanted to give you this. To keep you safe." She said and quickly sat back down, staring down at the table with her ears pinned to her cranium while her cheeks almost glowed pink. "I've never been good with words." She admits, peaking back up at you through her lashes to see your reaction. As you open the box, you see a beautifully crafted handle. Spiraling knots of gold and a small streak of silver along the bottom. Upon closer inspection the streak of silver is the back of a blade. It's a folding knife! And you can tell the love and effort that went into its craftsmanship. -You've been gifted "Confession Blade"- +10 Perception -10 dmg

Zyyrith calmly stood, fluttering some very unused wings as she made her way to Scout. They left the notepad wheres she sat. A cruel silence as the moth walked toward such a talented blacksmith. . . . As a gesture of love and appreciation she lowered her fluffy head to kiss Scout on the cheek.

(I reposted but lets make the most of my accident by making an add-on :'D) They gestured a smile with her front arms as to say a 'thank you'. Quietly walking back to the bar stool she sat down and took another sip of the sugar water, tapping their feet happily under the table. Edited at September 10, 2024 09:08 PM by The Night Walker

Scout watched, petrified as the moth sat across from her got up and made her way across the yard to the cat's side. Before leaning down and giving her a little smek on the cheek. Her ears pinched forward and her tail audibly floofed out behind her. She looked absolutely flabbergasted as Zyyrith returned to her seat and offered up a signed 'thank you'. The large cat seemed to choke on her words for a moment, before she laughed a little and ate another cracker for herself. "Y-yea... no problem. Gotta keep you safe." She coughed, taking a sip of wine.

She covered where a mouth would be on her face and made a squeaking noise, almost like they were mimicking a giggle. "Yes, Scout." They wrote a heart at the end.

Scout smiled and gently took the pen from your hand, before adding her own little hearts to the page and happily offering the pen back. The two of you laugh and Scout tells bad jokes as you finish up lunch. And after several hours the fungi on the trees around you begin to Flicker and dim, making Scout look around before standing up to strech. "I should probably get the shop prepped for tomorrow." She said offering a paw to help you up but using it to pull you into a soulful hug. "Thank you for coming to see me today... You've made me a very happy kitty." She joked, a deep purr rumbling in her chest as she hugged you, before she let you go and offered you your notepad from the table. "Would you like me to walk you back to the inn?"
