Kai didnt respond he just took his shirt off and plopped into his bed. He was hoping she would take the bed, he would of either slept with her or just slept on the ground.

Inferno slowly climbed into the bed next to Kai, laying her head back against the pillow as she relaxed as she felt thebody heat being emitted from her companion.

Kai looked at her, smiling. He then turned over and closed his eyes. He ended up falling asleep.

Inferno fell asleep after a while of listening to Kai's relaxed breathing, finally shutting her eyes and letting sleep consume her. This time, she wasn't plagued by nightmares.

Kai dreamed of the day before. Seeing the griffins and phoenixs dead bodies haunted him. But he also dreamed of inferno.

Inferno woke up before the sun rose, blinking away the fogginess in her brain. She looked over to where Kai was laying beside her and smiled slightly, brushing the hair that had fallen over his face away from his face.

Kai felt something softly brush his face. He was a little bit conscious but mostly asleep. He knew it was inferno, seeing as that she was they only one there. It was too early for him so he stayed asleep, not opening his eyes.

Inferno sighed, propping herself up on her elbows and gazing around the near-bare room. There wasn't much there, but it felt almost homish.

Kai turned so that he would be facing inferno. He then sleepily laid his arm over her. He wasnt aware he was putting his arm over her but its what he did in his sleep so he kinda just did it.

Inferno's eyes widened in surprise as she was pulled closer to Kai, putting her hands between them instinctively. Not that she didn't like it, but she just wasn't suspecting anything.
