Kai followed as they walked down the creepy staircase.

The moment that they reached the bottom of the staircase, Inferno pushed open the door and immediately saw the body of the Griffen and the phoenix.

Kai just being behind inferno saw the bodies just over her head. He looked away a bit because of the disgust of seeing dead bodies. He thought it was gross more then scary but it was still scary. "Fuck." He said as he looked back at the bodies.

Inferno just nodded and crept closer, avoiding the Phoenix's body and moving toward the Griffin's. "We need to see if they died in similar ways." She said. "THat way we can be sure that they were killed by the same creature and not two different ones."

"yeah thats smart." He said as he slowly followed behind her. They got to the griffens body and crouched down to its level. "Im not touching it." He said as he stepped back a bit.

"You don't need to," Inferno said, stepping around him. "Damn, I wish I had the spirit-tongue ability like most of the other hellhounds." She muttered, running her hand lightly over the torn fur and feathers of the Griffin.

"What is the spirit tongue ability?" he asked watching her run her hand over the griffin.

"Most Hellhounds have the ability to speak in spirit-tongue, basically speaking to a spirit," Inferno explained.

Kai nodded with a suprised look on his face. "Thats cool." He said as he looked at the Phoenixs body.

Inferno nodded absent-mindedly. "I didn't get it because of my Umbrakenisis."

"This is weird." She murmured, stepping back from the bodies. "They both share the same bite marks and injuries, and their fatal wound is the same, but the phoenix was completely shredded."
