Caspian | Male | Beta | M: Nighttigale, Wanderer, Saraq Caspian jumped. He had forgotten Saraq was there. "oh! sorry" He muttered quickly, though he didn't feel very sorry. "We're gonna go hunting! Bye bye!" He said cheerily and left their cave with Wanderer. We'll be lucky if we even catch a rat around here. He thought worridly. I can't let the pack starve. "Where should we search?" He asked his mate. "We could try looking for the rabbit burrows, though i doubt we'll find anything"

Nightingale | Female | Alpha | M: Sartaq, Caspian, Wanderer, Open - I stand up and shake. "Hold on Cas. I'm coming. Besides, I want to tell you and Wanderer something." I trot to catch up, careful of my belly. Pups are due in two months? Yes, that is right. Licking Caspian's ear, I say. "Don't mind Sartaq. He is just jealous he is not coming. What is the plan little brother."

Wanderer | Female | Beta | M: Caspian, Nightingale, Open - Wanderer trotted after Caspian as Nightingale followed them. She looked at her mate, waiting. "So, do you think we're gong to catch anything?" She sat on the ground squinting against the blowing sand as she lifted her nose for any sign of prey.

Sartaq - M - Alpha - Mention(s): N/A (Indirect: Nightingale, Caspian, Wanderer) ~ Sartaq wasn't mad. He just still had a slight morning-brain. He watched the three move off, keenly aware he wasn't with them - then again, Sartaq had by then lost hope of finding too much prey. Any prey they found could be handled by a single wolf... because the valley was rather barren. Really, Sartaq didn't exactly want to go either. He didn't want to acknowledge the fact that was right in front of them - their usual grounds had barely anything in them anymore. That it was becoming an increasing possibility every day that they had to leave. He didn't like it. He didn't like it when they began returning from hunting expeditions empty-handed. Maybe they'll be lucky today, Sartaq wistfully thought. He hoped. Sartaq barked at their fast retreating forms, wishing them luck on the hunt, and turned around to go back into camp and wake up everyone else.

Caspian | Male | Beta | M: Nighttigale, Wanderer Caspian trotted along with his sister and mate. "Oh?" He inquired to nighttingale. "What is it?" Now he was curious. What did she have to tell them? Was it gonna be good news or bad news...? He turned his head as Wanderer asked something. "Of course! We're gonna stumble upon a rabbit burrow and catch a bunch, enough to feed everyone!!" He said optimistcally. Maybe we won't, but I'll be happy to skip a meal if it means feeding the pack. I'm not that hungry anyway! He turned back to night as they walked towards their territory borders. "What were you gonna tell us? WAIT DON'T TELL ME! Good news or Bad news?" He asked, curiosity overflowing him.

Nightingale | Female | Alpha | M: Sartaq, Caspian, Wanderer, Open - "Umm... I might be bad, but I am not sure." I say. "Your in for a treat. I'm telling you two this before I tell the Alpha." I smile and place my nose to the gound. No fresh scents enter my nostrils, but dust does.

(Sorry for the late replies!) Bone | M | Pack Member | M: Wanderer, Caspian Bone yawned, stretched, shook himself, and woke up. His eyelids felt heavy. The lack of prey was getting to him, and it probably didn't help everyone else's moods.
He saw two of his packmates in the middle of camp. "Good morning," he said, beginning to walk over to them.
Coriander | M | Pack Member | M: Wanderer, Caspian, Bone Coriander licked his lips as he stalked a small lizard laying on a flat stone. The tiny animal would barely make a good snack for a wolf, but Coriander was hungry enough to try it anyway.
In a swift movement, he pinned the lizard with his paw, then bit down hard on it until it stopped moving.
But as Coriander help the lizard in his mouth, he wondered if he should be the one to eat it. It's such a small piece of prey. What would it matter? He told himself. He thought about it longer, then sighed. Nightingale needs it more than I do. He walked through camp, passing by Wanderer, Bone, and Caspian as he went.

Sartaq - M - Alpha - Mention(s): Bone, Coriander (ind. Nightingale) ~ Sartaq saw Bone come out of his den. "Morning, Bone," Sartaq yipped. He was in a pretty good mood this morning. Despite what was going on in the valley made for a not-so-good mood. And plenty of that had been circulating around the pack recently. Sartaq pondered that. Ugh. Eventually they''d have to make a decision - but he really, really didn't want to. While immersed in thought, he nearly missed Coriander, trotting trotting towards his den, a small lizard in his mouth. Sartaq sighed. What he wouldn't do for that - food wsa getting scarce. Sartaq himself hadn't eaten properly for at least three days. "Morning, Coriander," was Sartaq's reply to him as he trotted past. He hated he was the one who had the power to decide what they did now. Did they chase dreams, or should they stay in reality?

Coriander | M | Pack Member | M: Sartaq "Wait! I know it's not much... but shouldn't Nightingale have this lizard I caught?" Coriander couldn't see Nightingale in camp, so he figured he'd ask the other alpha.
Bone | M | Pack Member | M: Sartaq, Coriander Bone lifted his tail in response to the alpha's greeting. Hearing what Coriander had said, he added, "I can go out and catch more."

Sartaq - M - Alpha - Mention(s): Coriander, Bone (ind: Nightingale) ~ Sartaq sighed, and looked slightly regretfully at Coriander. He had done a good deed, and Night wasn't at camp. "The Betas and Night have gone off hunting." His tone would have indicated he felt slightly hopeless about it. There simply was no more prey left in the valley - it was dry as a bone. He hoped they could find something, but really? He didn't know if they would. "I've been left behind to make sure nothing else happens," he added ruefully. Okay, maybe he was a bit annoyed. But that was fine. It was his job, after all.
