She made the plants move and showed her self, and stepped into the light. And picked up her hand to wave and gave a small "Hi." |

Atri took a slight step back, not sure whether to trust her. He gave her a smile. "hey.." he glanced to the side, determining whether to stay or transform again and try run.. he reached up to brush another of his cuts, reminding himself that while he doesnt feel the pain being transformed, he'll most definitely feel it afterwards. |

She looked at him he looked pretty banged me up. "You hurt?" she asked but she kinda already knew the answer. "And I'm Mika." she added quietly her southern accent leaking through. |

He looked at her, his eyes meeting hers. "i'll be fine.. just my body cant handle my power just yet.." he glanced to the side again. His body faintly starting to smoke. "and.. im Atri." |

I know how that is." she replied trying to be nice. She seen that he was smoking, and thorned plants started to grow around her since she was getting a little nervous but tried not to show it. |

He glanced back at her, the smoke fading again. "what exactly IS your power..?" he turned his body towards her and took a few steps forward, not taking his eyes away from her. They seemed to be glowing as he approached, his face not showing any emotion at all. |

She stood her ground her face cool and fearless. "What's yours?" she asked smoothly. |

He stopped, his face mere inches away from hers... He grinned, a slight evil look behind his eyes, his body erupting in a cloud of black smoke, he let out a boyish giggle. The smoke started to clear and revealed Mika. He grinned at her. "That enough of an explanation?" |

Callio turned from the two, fairly convinced they weren't going to cause him any trouble. But before he could recalibrate where he was going, a faint plume of smoke caught his eye. He tested the air but couldn't smell any fire on the air... What was going on?
All but forgetting his previous encounter, Callio approached where he'd seen the smoke coming from, slinking quietly and fluidly over the uneven forest ground. He climbed up a nearby tree to get a closer, more protected view, gazing down into the small clearing. Two more people, a (male pronouns on the post so I'm assuming) boy and a girl. The girl looked young, thorny vines climbing up the ground as she spoke to the boy, who introduced himself as Atri. Not caught off guard this time, Callio's response to these two strangers was far less violent than it was curious. Perhaps these two were Gifted as well? He wondered if they were with the other two. He would wait to introduce himself, just in case.
(added a post after I started writing lol) Callio tipped his head to the side with curiosity as another puff of the same dark smoke enveloped the boy. In his place stood... a clone of the girl he was talking to. Hmm... his mind was already racing with the possibilities of such a power, if it were his. A stab of resentment dug into his stomach - if he had that power, he'd never have to hide again. |
