Her dad was home drunk again, and her mom was cooking supper in the kitchen while she and her brother was sitting at the kitchen table. He slamed the door opnen, and started to cussing, his words slurring together. "Kene, stop cussing please." her mom asked. "Don't tell me what to damn do." he slurred. He reached back to hit her.

Her dad hit her mom, and Mika yelled "Stop!" as her brother cried. Her dad turned to her and was about to slap her, when she woke up with a yell. Her heart pounding, and some rocks floating in the air and her eyes glowing gray.
