Actually, I didn't make Marius. Not his original original reference anyways. I got him from a free game and absolutely adored him.

So I worked with the ideas floating around in my head. He is a Shadow Shifter (so any other form he has, is just pitch black with green eyes) that chases anomalies down in his world to help them return to their place.

This is his "cursed" form. Aka, when he screwed up because he noticed someone was watching him--panicked and yeah.

He'll go back to normal... once nobody is watching him. But the minute somebody looks at him?

He looks like this;
