is this still open?

yes. It is still open. Just a bit slow as I am working on some adopts. I'll post soon. I haven't forgotten anyone as I have the names, claimed adopts and which page everyone is on written down to remember and keep track.

You close the door and quickly go after the cats into the kitchen where you saw a orange cat with gold eyes on a kitchen bench near some knives. It's ears were flat, eyes narrowed and it's tail lashing quickly to the point that it was almost knocking over the knives. Your cat was staring down at it from where it was crouched on top of the fridge.

The two appeared to be having a stare off though you noticed that your friend had it's tail lashing slowly and it's fur was standing up a bit. Other than that your cat appeared calm.

What's the plan?

A) Try to inch closer to move the knives

B) Watch the stare off and hope your cat calm's the other down

C) Try to cat the other cat's attention

D) Study the orange cat more

E) Just open and look at what is in the fridge

Placing your datapad away and having a interest in the lynx and the fox but you figured that for now you will go looking for the fox. You were sure there might be berries but the forest was too dark to see.

The female dog trying to be helpful as all of you walked ended up nervously bringing you something soft and fluffy. Lifting your lantern you noticed it was a rabbit who was giving you what appeared to be a confused look.

You heard the sound of bushes moving to your left, another sound of something like digging a a bit further to the left, the hoot of a owl and something like claws on rocks like a creature was trying to climb some rocks.

The female dog now had her ears back and tail tucked under her legs while looking at you nervously. The green eyes of your leopardness would be looking from you to the female dog then back to the rabbit with a caculated look in her eyes while the brother dog walked forward before holding up a paw as if offering to put the rabbit back.

Thoughts?

A) Thank the female dog but refuse the rabbit (brother puts it back)

B) Refuse the rabbit but tell the female dog she tried (brother puts rabbit back)

C) Just stare at the random rabbit

D) Keep the random rabbit but keep looking for the fox and the lynx

You figured it might be best to try your luck with the other herds. There were two others. One without a stallion and one with a stallion so hopefully one of them would be easier.

Back tracking until you found the hoof tracks of many horses. Now it was a matter of deciding which herd to try since the last one wasn't a option.

Which herd?

A) The herd with the stallion

B) The herd with no stallion

Quickly you reached for the items while trying to think of what could be useful. You didn't even know what creature had arrived to their cave but the anger in their eyes was not hard to miss.

A sandwich in a bag, a unopened bag of popcorn, some jerky, a jar of honey and the lunchbox. Maybe throw a item or offer some jerky. If the creature would accept the food or be scared away?

Plan:

A) Offer the jerky

B) Offer the sandwhich and the jerky

C) Throw the lunchbox near the creature in hope to scare it off

Laugh a little to myself and keep the rabbit.

A) try to move the knives, dont want any cutts or loud crashes happening!

You try to make your way to the knives without startling the cats because you didn't want any injuries on either cat. Luckily you managed to get to the knives and slowly move it so the tail was hitting nothing but air as it lashed.

Your cat never took it's eyes off you as it may have wanted to make sure you were alright. Now you realize that you had gotten closer to the cat though trying to pat it still isn't a good idea.

You could study it to see if the cat interests you or you can leave the kitchen to find another cat or just go searching through the kitchen?

C) ignore the two and search both cupboards and fridge

Having a laugh and deciding to keep the rather confused but random rabbit made the female dog happy as her tail wagged furiously while spinning in circles. Now was the matter of where you plan to put the rabbit before you continue your search.

You could try moving stuff to the bag pockets or put it in with the squirrels. Maybe they will become friends? Otherwise you can carry the rabbit though that may make the predators think you have free food.

You also realize that it is still dark enough that you can't see the rabbit's fur but it isn't white otherwise you would see it in the darkness.

Where to put the rabbit?

A) Move things around and put it in the bag

B) Put it in the box with the squirrels

C) Carry the confused rabbit

You head in the direction of the herd that you are positive has no stallion and you were right. Instead it appeared the herd was made up of a lead mare, several herd mares and some foals.

There were horses of white, black, chestnut and pintos. The lead mare had not only heard you but was looking in your direction. Maybe she was waiting to see which member of the herd you were going for?

Which ones would you like to look at?

A) Look at the chestnuts

B) Look at the blacks

C) Look at the whites

D) Look at the pintos

E) Look at the foals

You offer the creature the jerky but a quick swipe and it was sent flying so clearly it didn't want the jerky. Maybe it wanted something else or maybe you could leave or get up high?

At least until you see what the creature was.
