ScardeyKat said: Hi! I was wondering if you have any tips on lineless art. I want to try some but I can't see to do it correctly. Do you like it then color the lines or use the lines as that color and block it in?
Oh line less is fun lol. Alright I'll have to sketch and draw some to see how I did it again

Hello! I'm trying to see how to color or paint this lineart/ base for an oc and to get more art lmao. I'm just looking how to do the basics like how to color strictly between the lines and under the designs digitally and what apps are needed. I have so many ideas and such and I'm a terrible explainer so this will help me, plus then I can get better art. Anyways I'm sorry if that's confusing and thank you for this forum! I believe it's very helpful and generous.

I suggest Ibis Paint X as a starter for digital art :D to start off, you'll need to download a transparent lineart/base onto ibis! then you go create another layer underneath the lineart then you can color it in and erase the scribbles that go outside the line ^^ then you can alpha lock the layer to make it perm. colorable :D

Question, does it have to be transparent? And if so is there any way to make it transparent?

You'll have the lineart layer and on the layer below is where you'll color ^^
