I would say, my shading and anatomy. I used to struggle with expressions but I think I am better at that now.
Very terrible at backgrounds, so much that I don't do them at all. They scare me. Edited at August 18, 2019 05:09 PM by After Death

Anatomy and shading I think >< In particular, legs give me a very hard time :')

Anatomy and coloring are two of my biggest struggles, although I want to improve my coloring way more than anatomy, my reason being is that, if I have enough time, I can make something fairly anatomically precise. My coloring, however, is just really inconsistent and messy. I'd like to spend a few days just practicing my coloring style.

My problem is anatomy.
I've got the basics down, it's just now critiquing it to my style to make it look correct.
Also, paws. Paws are of the devil.

Agreed, paws are literal hell.
Don't even get me started on back legs.

Paws are awful, and if anybody can help me, I will give them my soul.
I struggle with anatomy as well, but also shading. I never learned how to "properly" shade, so I just do my own thing. xD

I never really learned to shade properly either. I just kinda slapped stuff on a canvas and rolled with it.
I uses to shade solely with the airbrush tool. That made stuff look patchy as Hell.
I also want to work on cell shading.

I read somewhere in a book written by an artist that hind legs on most canines are usually in a question mark shape, so to sketch them out that way. If that helps.

Painting fur
I have no problem painting literally anything else. Backgrounds, eyes, noses I can pretty much do. But for whatever reason fur just doesn't look right. It looks streaky. I don't know if I need better brushes or what but no matter what I do it doesn't look right, and it ruins everything else because the wolf is the main focal point. I'd love to play around more with lighting but I feel I'm restricted because of my inability to paint fur. It's very annoying. :c
