Heyo!
I've recently been thinking about this, but Im wondering what apps other artists use on there computer. I use Medibang paint, but it is sort of hard to use, although, I've got it down! I do want to check out other apps too. I've seen this one app that has a white background instead of black, but I'm not to sure what it's called.
Anyways, which art app would you recommend? Or, which one do you use? Is it easy to use? Is it free?
I'm looking for a new app that can be downloaded on a computer. I really want to try to use new apps! Edited at July 19, 2019 12:15 PM by wolfiean

Paint tool Sai is easy to use, and it's free. I use it, and it's quite easy.

I also recommend Paint Tool Sai. It's a little complicated but it's really just learning the ropes. It is not free. I think it's like $30-50 USD (not sure which, the price is in Japanese currency and I bought it a while ago) but it's worth it.

Hello!
I've jumped between a few things when in came to digital art.
I started with Microsoft Paint, which can make some great things if you know what you're doing. (I didn't.)
Another thing I tried out was FireAlpaca, which I wasn't fond of. To me, it was confusing. I couldn't get certain things to work in my experience, however it was free, so I didn't lose much of anything.
Then I got Krita. It can be free. It can also be around 10 USD. Regardless, it works great for what I'm using it for. I would recommend this to you most certainly.

While Paint tool Sai is great, I use Firealpaca, which is completely free. It's also how I animate. I suppose I've just gotten the hang of it after years of experience.
