Yeah. We usually do rent weekly here. So in one month I've paid around 940, just for the room. That's not including groceries, petrol to get to work etc

Geez, didn't realize it was bad there too.
I'm paying 235 a week for a room in a house. The cheapest one bedroom, one bathroom I last saw was around 950 a week. Doesn't help where I live is tourists galore so the prices are hiked up

I agree that it is sad. I've noticed in my state a lot of people are getting help because jobs suck here and everything is too expensive.

My area is already expensive due to the school. Rent is normally like 1200 here. It's sad man

A few years ago rent in my area used to be $700. Now there's nothing under $1,100 and that's usually for a 1 bedroom 1 bath.

I'm glad you have your cat to keep you grounded. Animals are amazing at helping us. I know my past dog helped me a lot when I was a teenager.

True, true. I won't be able to be on my own for a while, but I enjoy my living situation now; sans the recent trauma and frustration of my days. I got my cat to get me through those, though. She's pretty fantastic.

5 years ago I was able to live on my own and live comfortably. Now me and my bf can barely afford what we have now

Being an adult sucks but it's great at the same time. When you have your own place though you have your own space.

My mum and I were discussing Christmas (sorry cx) presents today already.

I asked her if she could get me a drawing tablet. She said of course, and to search up for a nice one that'll do me for years to come.

She didn't give me a price range unfortunately as she knows I worry way too much about the money situation :') can ye give me some good drawing tablets? It doesn't matter how costly they are... let's just say 400-600 max currency? :')

Thanks guys. ❤

Can confirm that the Wacom tablets are great. My first was a Wacom Bamboo (which I still have c':) that served me well for years. It was cheap, as I remember, but I'm in the UK - I don't know how the cost would translate to USD.

I've had my Wacom Tablet for around 2/3 years now and it still works amazingly. It was pretty cheap too, around £150 I believe. Plus, installing everything was really easy. It comes with a voucher to download an art program for free ( the applications offered to you are pretty good too) !

I got a Huion for 60 USD (brand new) it works great but it really depends what you are going for. Mine is a Huion h610 pro but if you are just starting out I have heard great things about Wacoms. Mine was a bit hard to get set up and it did have a few problems here and there but if you are techy(or just know how to look stuff up) then it works great.
