Ok. We all know that making a character from scratch is hard. Quite hard. So, heres a few tips! - First off, don't make your character plain, with no personality. Make them different. So, for starters. Your making a golden retreiver OC? Don't make him a normal dog, living alone with its human. Give it something interesting, like lets say the dog has a taste for adventure, or wishes to leave its owner. Make sure to make the OCs personality unique, not just copied off something else.

Secondly, don't make its looks plain. Give it something, interesting. Like, a satchel, or piercings. Something unique, that isn't just yer normal looks of whatever species this is. And, always look at old doodles! I was just doodling a dog one day, when i realised, why not make her an OC? So i did! Always look at your doodles to see if theres anything in there that sparks inspiration or interest. Never compare your character to another, they are unique to you and you only.
