Wolf
Appearance:
Cye is a rather dashing wolf (if he does say so himself) in the eyes of most females. He stands at a height of 38 inches, being quite far down the upper spectrum of his species. Surprising, however, his legs are not inherently long. Rather, they are considered to be of average length in comparison to the rest of his form. The weight his form carries is quite underwhelming after one considers his height, coming in at a measly 140 pounds. He personally likes this weight, seeing as it doesn’t make him so heavy that stealth is completely out of the option. Like most wild wolves, a lot of this weight comes in the form of muscle. The muscle on him resides around his chest and legs – not exactly making him appear broad, but nowhere near skinny or frail. This muscle is atoned to high speed chases, but requires a lot of food to uphold. The fur of his upper body is rather heavy and thick, akin to a weighted or wool blanket. This fur – especially that along his sides – angles downwards, as though it were combed that way. The fur around his legs, however, appears to be much shorter and less heat-soaking. His tail continues the trend his upper body set, being quite fluffy in formation. Its hairs are much longer than the rest on his body and also has that downwards angle that his sides do.
The coloration of the scout’s pelt is a mix of common late fall, early winter shades. Tans, browns, blacks, grays, and near-whites all paint his pelt with varying textures and patterns that make up a rather unique look for him. The tan of his fur mostly takes residence along his sides – from the midpoint down – as well as the sides of his tail and (mostly) upper portions of his legs. Some of this tan has managed to slither its ways down his legs at certain points, but is quickly snuffed out by white. This white fur also rules over the insides of his legs, paws, and underbelly. Along his back and upper sides is a large quantity of scattered black. It is separated by two main colors. On his sides, it is a dark brown that mixes with the black. A pretty hue, akin to that of dark tree bark. His back, however, is a mix of near-white fur and the aforementioned black. It is here that they create a “pepper and salt” sort of blend or “snow and ash.” The pepper or ash dominates the snow-like salt. This same pattern has made its way towards the bottom of his neck, covering more of his left side than the right. A rich brown takes over where this pattern halts (with a few select hairs of black sprinkled in). This color stretches all the way to his head, and even covers his ears. Though, his ears do have small black dots scattered about it as well as black tips. Inside, they are a grayish white. A gray “mask” marks the finale of the brown’s charade – covering both sides of his face. It starts right at the back of the ears, and is split down the middle by a dark like of black surrounded by some of that dark brown. This line ends at the beginning of his snout, with only the black remaining at that point. The muzzle itself has a rich strip of amber-tan running down its top while the sides and lower jaw are pure white. Surrounding his eyes are black cheetah-like markings which end at the exact point as the stripe. Although, they slant downwards rather than run straight. His “eyebrows” are the near-white tan hue from before. They often cause him to be rather expressive. More so than some other wolves. The eyes surrounded by these colors take on a striking blue-gray shade. One that stands out very well amidst the black and near-white tan, especially in bright lighting. The final stretch of the male’s black runs along the top of his tail in a thin line, following the bone down to its tip. Said tail tip is covered in this black fur. Small portion of the underside of his tail (right after the lower half of the black-tip ends) holds a rich amber-tan color. Like that akin to autumn leaves. It stops before it reaches where his tail and body meet.
The season colored canine has gathered a decent amount of scarring over the few years of his life. Most come from other wolves, due to his tendency to be chased off. (He always says that it was because they couldn’t handle the competition for females. But who really knows?) One such scar is a notch in his left ear. A clean – but small – chunk was taken out of it, likely from him stepping on someone’s toes. Another among the multitude of them is a bite mark along his right side. He claims that it’s from a jealous male (the son of an alpha in particular), but that is still unconfirmed. What is certain, however, is that the mark derived from a wolf. Some more bite marks are well hidden underneath his thick coat, all of which came from either a jealous male or upset female. A cut runs along his left leg, starting at the back and aiming down his leg. The origin of this scar is unknown. Finally, cat-like claw marks can be seen running along his snout and down his right lip. A scar earned in his “teenage” years, but not one that is particularly noteworthy.
Cye’s voice is a bit of an oddity considering his stature. When looking upon such a wolf, one would not expect such a deep sound to emit from him. Rather, they’d likely suspect something of a higher pitch. But, somehow, that is not what they’ll be receiving. Couple this with his rumbly words, and he becomes a real wild card. Said words are always smooth and rather connected. As such, one could describe his voice as “entracing,” in a way. Especially for the ladies which is of no surprise. Pauses are quite emphasized and attention snatching when used – due to how he normally speaks. They demand one’s ears and mind, in a way. Like he’s about to say something immensely important, and missing such a statement would only spell one’s doom. Funnily enough, however, his tone is actually on the brighter side of things. Laidback with a twinge of carelessness, but with an overall cheerful feel to it.

“Good evening, m’lady. May I offer you any assistance?”
The most blaring aspect of Cye’s personality is clearly his charming demeanor. He is very attractive (the words of all those females, not his… even if he agrees with them wholeheartedly), and can easily steal one’s attention away with just a mere glance. No one really knows what it is about him that is attention snatching. He just seems to have this sort of air to him – one that makes most simply adore his very presence. It’s not necessarily pleasant or joyful, nor is it mysterious or a sign of a shell made to be unraveled (not that it’d be much to uncover, anyway). It’s merely a head-turning aura of his that cannot be explained by most. And, those that can explain it, constantly give a large variety of answers. Such responses can range from parts of his appearance, his looks in general, or maybe they were attracted to gentleman-like manners he possesses. However, the large majority of them chalk it up to the way he speaks – claiming that they could sense that they are so powerful that they draw canines of all species and breeds in without a single syllable having been muttered.
The eloquence of this charming wolf is also a prominent feature of his. While likely not as strong as some claim it to be, he does seem to have the innate ability to fluently with ease. His words – no matter how small, simple, or common – seem to carry a sort of resonating persuasion to them. A call to pay attention and listen, for what he is about to say is bound to be memorable. Or maybe even life changing. Almost as though your very soul was waiting to hear such a statement spoken from the beginning of your life. And he will deliver this utterance, even if it is not at all what one was expecting or wishing for. But said receiver is bound to appreciate the message, no matter what it is. For the most part, anyway. Then again, it’s not like he’d be spelling one’s doom. That would just be horrid! He’d never do such a thing. He’s too mannerly and gentleman-like for that pish posh.
The words and sayings he uses tend to be rather fancy themselves. And they all come from one of four “strains” he possesses (for the most part), which he rarely deviates from: flirtatious, teasing, snarky, and comforting. Flirtation is typically his go to when it comes to interactions with females. Though, the typical pickup lines one thinks of?… Yeah, not his style in the slightest. He may use pickup lines from time to time (when he’s really digging the lady in question), but they have to be nothing short of extravagant and unique. Otherwise, they aren’t worth his time. The flirtatious statements he tends to use aim to make one blush madly rather than simply draw attention or attraction. His “aura” does that well enough. Teasing statements are solely reserved for longtime friends and loved ones, or someone he himself is attracted to. This, like usual, is a mechanism to “lighten the mood” but is also used to show his affection and care for the receiver. Snarky comments, naturally, are set aside for those he could care less about. Despise is another way to put it, but he refuses to hate anyone if he can help it. These words are always harsh, and are used to stir up conflict or some sort of negative response. A way to get under one’s skin. He doesn’t hold back with these either – they are always cutting and disgustingly crude. It’s hard for some to not have some sort of reaction, unless they are known for being very level headed and thick skinned. Finally, to those in need, the male can provide some comforting statements at times. It’s not necessarily his forte, but he’s also not terrible at it. He is always soft with his words during this time, refusing to choose words that can have skewered meanings and even those that sound too harsh syllable wise. Though, do expect some sort of gentle physical touch to be coupled with said words. A bit of an extra cushion to one’s pain, in case his words were not enough.
Protective tendencies are not that uncommon for someone like Cye, apparently. He is known to be rather vicious towards all those that are insane enough to touch a single hair upon the heads of his companions. Simply getting them to back off is not enough for him. He will not allow them to scamper away wound free. And it’ll be a nasty one at that. One that would have a medic scrambling to patch it up as quickly as possible. However, his protection is not boundless – unlike others. Of the few select beings that managed to touch this leaf-fallen male’s steeled-off heart, only those with a need for protection will be granted it. So, for example, if he knows that one friend of his can handle themselves, then he won’t bother stepping in when they get into trouble. That is, until they get themselves so deep into a heap of issues that he can either help them or watch them perish. He can also be a bit cocky when it comes to being protective. For some odd reason. It’s as though he believes himself invincible during these times, or that he just cannot be defeated but the opposing force. Perhaps that good luck from the past has just given him an ego trip? Who knows. But it is certainly infuriating for those he is up against.
At all times of the day, this season colored male typically acts with a slight level of aggression towards all those he deems as unfamiliar. Or untrustworthy. This level of hostility can be hard to detect, mainly due to his more snarky remarks he sends towards these specific canines, but it is most certainly there. The staple sign of this aggression is typically the narrowing of his shocking eyes. Not in a glaring sense, but in an “alert” one – where the pupils shrink and hone in on a specific target. The slight curl of his lips and swishing of his tail can also be seen as signs of aggression, but they’re not as prominent. However, if the one he holds a distaste towards is a male and they try to make a move on a female he has his eyes on? Boy are they going to be in a world of pain – physically or emotionally! He is absolutely the jealous type. He is very envious of those who snag attention away from him those he’s interested in, when trying to gain the lady’s affections that is. Though, he won’t get physically aggressive towards those that do. Rather, he’ll find ways to essentially drag them through the mud. Finding dirt on them, pressing on weakness and sore topics, all that stuff. Most of this is done out of a female’s sight, but he will do this around them when there’s the chance of making the other look bad.
As such, this scout can come off as somewhat clingy. He tends to stay incredibly close to the female he’s got his eyes set upon – warding off males while being near to her. Not twenty four-seven, however. That’d be too much. He mainly does this whenever he notices that she’s getting a bit too much attention for his liking. He can, at times, come off as overbearing during these sequences (seeing as he barely leaves her alone) but he honestly means no harm or ill will. Though, if requested, he will grant her space without question or whining. He understands the desire to be alone at times, and he’s not going to deny her that as much as he wants to keep other males away. Do expect him to seek one out a few days afterwards, however. Unless they went up to him beforehand, of course. Besides his “protective” motives, he simply finds comfort in the presence of such a lady. It brings him an odd sense of security, one that he honestly cannot place. It’s not everyday that one finds another will to deal with such an obvious flirt as himself, after all. Maybe this can turn into something more than a flirt-and-go? Unlikely, but not impossible.
Cye takes the saying “if you can’t stand the heat, don’t dish it” pretty seriously. When being slandered or peppered with insults but those he’s not particularly fond of, he can (generally) manage to keep a leveled head. A calm and, naturally, cocky demeanor that easily withstands the onslaught of “attacks” leveled towards him. Most of the time anyway. He, like all others, does have his weak points. Touching them will absolutely result in a bit more hostile version of his usual self, but will almost never deter him. It’ll just spur him on, and likely crescendo into a battle of the insults. Which he is likely to win. However, he actually doesn’t have that many “ticks” to set him off. And those he does have? Well, they are more so thorns in his side than the piercing arrows his opponents make them out to be. His (metaphorical) thick skin ensures that. It is difficult to pierce, even for the most skilled and experienced of individuals in this area. Simply because he doesn’t care what they say. He knows what is and is not true about himself. Why should he listen and believe them about such things?... Is this hypocritical of him? Absolutely. But he could care less about that.
Despite being seemingly possessive and self obsessed (which, to an extent, he totally is), this seasonal male is actually impeccably selfless. Specifically towards those he cares for and the “weak” members of the group. He shows great concern towards them during troubling times, putting them before all others. Including himself. He will give up a lot to help them as well. Giving up his own meals, putting aside important tasks, risking his life without a second thought, and even changing his entire presented personality. Just to name a few. However, he rarely ever shows this side of him – even to those close to his heart. His aid and generosity are often secretive actions, leaving no amount of evidence pointing towards him. No one is quite sure why he doesn’t like others to know of this trait of his. He’s not even that sure himself. All he knows is that he feels a certain way, and just acts according to its will.

Other:
- Not much is known about this male. All his history is, for the post part, bottled up inside him. It’d take a literal jackhammer to bust open the wall he’s put around it, too.
I’ve always wanted ta grow a banana tree. But I’ve heard that it’s not possible for my area. Also, I’ve really started ta take a liking towards a dark-tan-blue color combo recently. No clue why.
