Appearance:

Reyes is a fairly tall woman when taken into consideration for the average height. She stands at a solid 5'8, with a slim, somewhat hourglass-shaped build. I say somewhat because she doesn't really have many defined curves to be considered a real hourglass. Her hips have a dip, as a natural body does, but more so because she is consistent with her exercise. This doesn't mean Reyes is some bodybuilder, hell, she only weighs in at 128lbs. Reyes has just enough muscle to pull her own body weight if needed. Her arms have their own average-sized biceps whenever she flexes, but compared to the average male, they're considered small. Reyes has a slight cupids bow shape for her lips, adorned with the pale salmon hue. Her nose is more-so celestial shaped and button-like, but not unordinarily small.

Reyes has been working toward a set of abs for so long, but to her disdain, she can never be that 2% body fat Sharon. She has a healthy layer of fat over her torso, just barely hiding what she swears is a set of rock-hard abs. Her legs have a natural curve down the thigh and calf, letting her almost willowy stature be lithe with their flexibility. She isn't near as flexible as a ballerina or gymnast, but she can manage a few positions that stiff limbs could not muster. Overall, Reyes has a pretty average build, adorned with her blessed height that allows her to reach the top of the shelf and look down upon the small peasants below her. Or, that's what she likes to think. In comparison to the majority of the population, she isn't tall.

Reyes bears rich, dark chocolate-hued hair that trickles down just past her chest if she were to flop it over her shoulders. It's not the longest, but it has a healthy amount of length. Reyes's hair could be considered straight, but not in an ironed fashion. It has a few slight waves here and there, usually appearing more prominently when she takes out her ponytail or more rarely, buns. If she were to leave it down for a couple of days, its waves would lessen, yet it still wouldn't be completely straight. Reyes takes deep pride in her hair, and cutting it would seem like blasphemy- so don't you dare touch it. For the longest time, she had been thinking about dying the majority of it a platinum white color... too bad the apocalypse happened first.

Reyes has beautiful hazel eyes, green around the rim, circled by hues of chestnut and brown. She has small flecks of black scattered around her pupil, adding to the amount of detail that's hidden in them. From afar, they simply look like an odd-hued light brown coloration, but if you were to focus on them, you would be able to see their colors. Her doe eyes are framed by long dark lashes that often manage to sneak their way into the corners of her eye whenever they fall off. Her lashes don't naturally curl up as prominently as others, but that simply makes her eyes look as though they're lined with a soft hue. Speaking of her eyes, they're the whole reason that she looks far more innocent than she really is. Her resting face makes them pull up the facade of doe eyes, but when she regains emotions and starts adding them in facial features, that innocent look in her eye fades into a more siren shape. This is mainly due to her squinting to focus on something or someone, a habit since childhood that she never managed to notice.

Unlike some who have a resting bitch face, Reyes has a resting depressed face. She can't help it, she just gives off the look that she's done with life whenever she isn't focused. She has gotten plenty of concerned looks in her lifetime, and trust me, she knows. Reyes absolutely hates having hair in her face or god forbid over her ears, so just puts it all in a quick, slick-back somewhat high ponytail. She's no track star, but she sure does pull off the look well. If you see Reyes with her hair down, it won't be for long. She'll snatch every last baby hair that pops out and shove it back into her ponytail- where it belongs. Reyes has a defined jawline with a very slight widow's peak, giving her a heart-shaped face. Her skin is naturally on the paler side, but when exposed to sunlight even briefly, it easily becomes sun-kissed. She bears rosy cheeks that tend to obtain freckles once exposed to the outside.

Reyes attire is mainly focused on thin long-sleeved shirts or halter tanktops. It all really just depends on the weather. Usually it's a combination. She sports the halter tanktops that don't show much skin, hugging her torso and chest, then going out in thick straps on either side of her neck to give extra support. The colors she uses are usually burgundy or off-white for these. For the cover, she wears a thin, yet rich material long-sleeved shirt that acts like a jacket. It bears an open collar that can be zipped up closed or lowered down to just above her chest. She finds herself most comfortable in breeches or flexible pants that hug her body and are high-waisted. For these, she will only go for black colors.

For footwear, Reyes goes for anything with a 1-inch heel that requires lacing. Usually, she finds herself in dark leather combat boots. Don't you dare ask her to wear strap ons or sandals or so help her she will put you six feet under. Reyes never had a nack for wearing jewelry or accessories, given she was introduced to sports at a young age and never wanted to lose her valuables. Reyes holds plenty of scars from childhood, along with a few deep scars on her hand from her childhood cat- that little bastard. You wont find her wearing shorts any time soon because her legs are constantly in a fit to look like they aren't beaten on daily from either stubbing it into something or randomly cutting it on another thing.

Personality:

Reyes is often described as nonchalant just because she's more on the reserved and calm side when people first meet her. It takes a while to actually start forming a bond with Reyes, and when you do, she'll manage to put down that facade. She's often respectful of strangers unless they prove that they don't deserve it, then she'll simply ignore them for being so brash. She often holds others to her expectations, expecting them to be just as mature as any other adult- because for fucks sake you're an adult. Seeing people lash out in public just makes her question just how desperate people can get to the point where they lose control in such a minor situation, and, yes, she'll automatically lose any trace of respect for them.

Reyes was that one quiet kid in the back of the classroom- (no, not the edgy one that everyone stayed a good distance away from) the one that always whispered the answer because they were too nervous if they had gotten the answer wrong (but was ultimately right). She's an intelligent soul and keeps to herself, which doesn't help her with making friends. To this day, she still doesn't have a certified friend group. Her friends consist of perhaps one or two mutual companions. This is expected, as she prioritizes her work and passions rather than hanging out and doing dumb shit at bars. (Sometimes she wishes she was doing dumb shit)

Reyes is a fast learner with a sharp mind; it was no wonder she got the class president role in her youthful years. She takes pride in her academic success but doesn't gloat about it. Well, maybe a little. She always used the excuse "I don't have enough time to do this" to get away with not having very many friends, putting that essay that was due at 12am before the quality time with friends. This working personality isn't always up. though. The other side of Reyes, which she brings out around friends and family, is one that's a lot more approachable than her cold facade. Reyes is fairly easy to get along with and be around. She likes to spread sarcastic or witty jokes around, often laughing at her own to try and lighten the mood.

Reyes isn't the best comforter. She doesn't like to give hugs or pat people's backs because her family never really comforted each other like that. She often feels a lot more awkward than guilty when someone cries, as she rarely ever cried in front of her family, nor did they in front of her. While she has an air of awkwardness that surrounds her, Reyes uses comforting words and optimistic ideas to soothe another person.

Reyes isn't a crybaby, but words do get to her. It all has to add up and fill her little emotional bottle for her to gain tears. Perhaps throughout the week she was insulted here and there, told she was too uptight or had overlying stress from external sources, or was given attitude when she was trying to be genuine; at the end of the week, sure, she'll cry in the bathroom. She's only human. Reyes will try her absolute best to not let others see her cry; as the idea of being comforted also makes her uncomfortable. The times she has been comforted in the past on the stray person walking in on her little tear session, she likes it. Its just the thought of being in such a weird position and being a burden to someone makes her feel uneasy. She likes having someone to depend on but pushes everyone who is willing away. Perfect dilemma, I know.

If you get to know her, Reyes is an honest soul. She does have her times when she can be a compulsive liar, but those habits have died down over the years. To those who are close to her or that she admires, she is honest and genuine. Reyes naturally makes sarcastic comments in the form of a joke, trying to either calm her nerves or lighten the mood in a bit of a dark way. If she sees that the situation is too inappropraite for jokes, she'll use her optimisim to brighten others up.

She's incredibly loyal to those who stick with her and will definitely lash out if you pull up with an attitude aimed at someone she cares about. Other than that, she'll let you spew venomous words at her... to a degree. If you try touching or getting physical, Reyes will throw some hands. She's collected, but not that collected. When Reyes does get pushed over the edge, which isn't that hard to do if you invade her space, she goes all out. The more she gets enraged, the more adrenaline gets pumped and she takes her anger out by playing dirty. You don't want to get caught on the wrong side of Reyes unless you want to catch those claws 💅

Reyes doesn't mind playing dirty when it comes to fighting. She believes if you hold back, you'll give the other person false hope and pride. She learned this through wrestling with her siblings, of course. She had to teach her little brother a good lesson so he wouldn't try to match her up again when he got older and taller. Reyes can be very rambunctious and audacious if she gets ahead of herself, but usually, she manages to collect herself before she gets too obnoxious. She's not sociable enough to demand the room, but in certain situations that call for a leader, Reyes will stand up to the occasion. She's realistic and strategic, calculating most of the outcomes before they manage to reach her. She has a sharp mind, and she's not afraid to use it.

Reyes can be caught off-guard easily, as she often fades out while semi-day dreaming about things or playing scenarios in her head. This makes it insanely easy to spook or scare her, and her reactions to even the smallest bits are pretty dramatic. If someone popped out of the corner or did something mildly creepy, no matter the surroundings, someone's going to hear a curse word echo throughout the halls. Reyes is human, and humans are herd animals, so she feels safer with someone watching her back; and if they run, you bet your ass she'll be booking it after them. It doesn't matter if she cant see what they're running from; its common sense. In similar cases, if someone screams, she'll either look desperately around to find the source of their fear. (but if she's agitated or caught off-guard, she'll scream too)

While Reyes hates getting spooked, she's a sucker for scaring other people. It's okay when she does it, though- because she does it in a funnier way according to her. Have you ever finished watching a horror movie and your companion just books it out of the dark room, leaving you to the jacket that lowkey looks like a monster in the corner of your eye? That's the kind of scare that Reyes likes to play on others. She gets quite vocal when it comes to playing tricks, to say the least. It's easy to make her laugh, even if it's a chuckle or a full-blown wheeze, so she can be the life of the party if she's feeling comfortable enough. When Reyes does open her heart, she becomes almost naive to every flaw that the person has. At times, it's good, but other times it's like looking at red flags through rose-tinted glasses. It's easy to hurt her when you're close to her since she takes those words to heart.

Voice:

Reyes voice is definitely feminine- yet it takes a somewhat deeper side to it. She still gets voice cracks which add a bit more spice to her average tone, but if she's scared, you can definitely tell. Her voice's tone is something that adds a lot to her personality, along with her very obvious facial expressions that she cant seem to control.

Skills:

Reyes somewhat knows how to fish thanks to her father. She can take a fish off the hook, bait it, and successfully reel it out in the water. It's one of those simpler pleasures; because now she's practically a survivalist.

Reyes is fairly athletic. She's not necessarily fast, but hey, all she has to do is outrun the other person right? She'd rather climb something than try to outrun something, as it's easier to pull her own body weight rather than waste her stamina legging it.

Reyes is a professional equestrian rider, hired to compete in advanced-level hunter-jumpers. She doesn't own a horse, but she is a great rider; thus helping her balance whenever she requires it. It also gave her those damn good legs.

Reyes isn't a combat specialist but she knows that as long as you aim for the weak spots, your opponent is going to feel that sting. She has some knowledge on how to curl her fists and protect her face from binging tv shows, but she has rarely put it to use. This doesn't mean she'll go down easily though.

Reyes knows how to handle and load a shotgun, thanks to living out in the country for a period of time. She never liked the use of it so I wouldn't say she's the best aim.

Don't ask Reyes to drive a motorcycle or any kind of automated bike- she has a history of crashing those, so tread carefully.

Habits:

When Reyes is anxious, she's restless. She either gets shuddery/shivers or taps her right hand's index finger on a surface. Usually, she has to be active to get the anxiety out, thus making her pace.

Reyes has a depressing resting face. She somewhat squints when she's talking or is focused on someone and has very uncontrollable facial expressions that can easily offend someone. She's readable to say the least.

Sometimes when she's excited she'll get goosebumps. She only realized this when one of her friends pointed it out.

Things need to be neat and tidy for her to function properly. She only gains habit when she has nothing better to do.

When focusing or thinking about something, she'll bite a bit of flesh located on the tip of her index finger. She never bites hard enough to leave a scar or draw blood, though.

Roxanne is a woman that stands at 5'11" with a lithe physique. She is tall for a female and certainly above average, and walks in a.. lazy manner of sorts. Not necessarily sloppy, yet not overly graceful either. At first glance, Roxanne gives off an intimidating aura. Her face sits in a frown, never a smile gracing her features. In fact, she's hardly readable at all. Besides her height, the next most noticeable thing about her is a large scar cascading over her left eye. Nobody knows the true reason as to how she obtained it, for Roxanne speaks little regarding herself.

The female's skin is slightly tanned, though not overly so, and her hair is a darker brown that sits at shoulder length. Roxanne's hair is wavy, but not to the point where it's considered curly. There is only slight volume to it, and is typically seen being worn down. Her entire body as a whole is rather slim with muscle predominantly on her arms and thighs. Her build is best suited for swiftness and remaining both stealthy and agile rather than delivering powerful blows.

In terms of her facial features, she has a sharp jawline and large eyes that often observe people. Her eyes sit in a naturally judgmental way, as if she's plotting something against you. Her eyes are the same colour as her hair: brown, with long lashes. Her eyebrows, oddly enough, are darker than her hair, giving her a more unique look. Additionally, Roxanne's lips are rather large, and her nose is wide, though it somehow manages to compliment her.

Roxanne is a female that is a true complexity to understand. One would never be able to know what she is thinking nor feeling. She keeps it all hidden to the point where she mainly keeps a straight face wherever she ventures off to. Completely unreadable, one could try unmasking her and fail. She is as expressive as a potato. She does not smile, does not laugh, does not show any emotion, even if a situation is extremely dangerous. She is reclusive and reserved, not often speaking about herself nor giving off any information to do with her life or personality. Roxanne is a completely closed book that cannot be opened. Even towards any she considers friends, they will not know everything about her. She keeps her life subtle and to herself.

Often acting nonchalant and lazy, Roxanne seems to have a very uncaring attitude. If something drastic happens, she's the type to shrug it off and saunter off as if nothing happened. It isn't as if she can't feel emotions. She can, simply doesn't express them. Perhaps there are few moments where one can catch a glimpse of her smiling, though such sights are very rare.

She is very observant, able to watch others and learn about them. After all, she's one to sit on the sidelines without being noticed. Observing simply comes easy to her. She is also intimidating. She doesn't give off anything about herself, thus, nobody knows much about her. Her height, scar, and facial expression certainly don't help her case with meeting new people. Again, she isn't antisocial, simply doesn't care. Roxanne has a lot of potential to make friends, she simply doesn't care enough to actually do it.

She has the personality that, if you leave her alone, she will leave you alone. However, like others, she doesn't let others step all over her. She will be blunt and bold with another if they insult her, not one to simply brush it off. In fact, she can be fairly bold, and feisty as well so much as another crosses her. Leave her alone, and she'll leave you alone. If not, well, Roxanne does enjoy games and can be petty if she has to be. In other words, she doesn't let others disrespect her or talk down to her and will put another in their place no matter what she has to do.

Roxanne does speak. Simply because she's reserved about herself doesn't mean she's introverted. She will bring up her own opinions and insert her ideas into things. After all, she is determined and can be audacious. She's the type to take bold risks, which may come as a surprise to many, for she's usually calculating in such that she prefers thinking things through. She usually plays it safe, though will take risks if it ensures her survival. She may also be feisty depending on the situation, and uses both verbal and physical advantages to win in different occasions.

Selfless, Roxanne, if takes a liking to you, will do her best to watch out for you. She isn't the type to leave another behind. Well, unless she doesn't like you. If that's the case, then every person for themselves. She also doesn't give out second chances. Cross her once, and she will never help you again, no matter if death is around. Roxanne takes trust seriously. If it is broken, another could beg for her forgiveness and she will never accept it. She is unsympathetic when it comes to that.

In short, she's an oddity that is reserved, yet truly bold and intimidating if another speaks down to her or others.

*Appearance: Aurora is a little taller than the average sixteen-year-old girl, standing at 5'7 but having no more room to grow. She weighs around 112lbs, on the skinnier side for her rather tall height. However, saying that she's emaciated is a huge overstatement. Actually, this female is just slim, with a skinny torso and slim frame. Her ribs, though not visible, are able to be felt with ease under her skin. Aurora has pretty average-sized feet, and the same goes for her hands, which are severely bruised. She's also got a birthmark on the upper side of her left cheek, which is a big, black dot which almost looks like a mole, but not quite as disgusting. This is the only birthmark that Aurora has, as none others are visible.

Aurora has light, pale white skin, therefore she is prone to getting sunburnt. She doesn't mind this, though, as she usually does not go out in blazing hot weather, anyways. This girl also has long hair that goes down to her lower back, and it is so long that it often gets caught on things and is considered somewhat of a liability to Aurora due to the fact that one could easily grab it or she could get stuck on something from it. This hair of Aurora's is a beautiful, light, dirty blonde color and is quite well taken-care of and brushed regularly. Her hair perfectly complements her sky-blue eyes that almost never seem to harbor any emotion, in fact, they look more like a dull gray void rather than the blue color that they’re supposed to be.

Aurora's face well resembles that of a sixteen-year-old girl's, as she has a look of youth to her. Her cheekbones aren't very defined or sharp, in fact, they just barely are able to be seen, with smooth white skin that's decently taken care of. Aurora has rather mild acne, there being only a slight bit around her forehead and temple. Her lips are a light-ish pink color and if one gets a closer look at them, they aren't chapped at all, in fact, they look well-taken care of. The edges of Aurora's mouth aren't red or chapped at all, but her tongue is rather long and scraped up because she bites it a lot. Aurora's chin isn't even close to being sharp, and well represents how youthful this girl really is. As well as being faint, Aurora's eyebrows are the same color as her hair; dirty blonde. Lastly, her nose is small and is what some would consider a "pixie nose," seeming to only take up the tiniest section of Aurora's face.

This tall female's height is mostly made up by her long, slender legs. Oddly enough, her legs are boney and not very refined around any area but her thighs. It is a wonder that Aurora is even able to support her own body weight on her legs, much less run with them. However, Aurora's legs are much stronger than they look, and she can damn well run like the wind with them. Though, the same cannot be said about her weak, skinny arms which hold little muscle on them. Aurora relies on her weapons, battle experience, and extensive knowledge to get by while fighting, as brute strength is not one of her strong suits. She just doesn't have the muscle in her arms, though she can slash a knife and handle a bow very well.

Aurora's lengthy arms and slender fingers allow her to have quite good reach, which makes a knife the perfect weapon for her. That paired with her speed and agility makes Aurora a formidable foe to go up against, even for a zombie. However, lucky for them, Aurora's stamina is something that is much less than worthy of praise. She can't hold her own for very long, as she'll grow exhausted and ultimately end up defeated if she tries to do so.

Aurora isn’t devoid of scars, in fact, many smaller ones are along her arms though the worst goes down her face and is dangerously close to her right eye. It is a miracle that her eyesight hasn't been damaged.

-As mentioned before, she has a knife that is small and incredibly sharp. It has a black handle but a silver, shiny blade. It is perfect for close-range combat.

-Aurora has a hair tie to keep her hair up because it's so long. It's cyan in color.

-Has extensive knowledge of America's layout as well as various locations of loot, etc. She's a dictionary in human form ;)

*Personality: Aurora is somebody who can be considered as rather strange, with a jumbled up personality. On one hand, she can be described as a solitary girl who will only spend time with those that she feels truly understand her or the people that she takes a liking to, even if she knows jack shit about them. The rule, "don't judge a book by it's cover" does not apply to Aurora, as she judges people and even animals by appearance on a daily basis. If you happen to be one of the people that Aurora doesn't like and you try to talk to her, you can expect her to do one of three things. She'll either ignore you, turn her back to you, or walk away. One thing that is important to mention is that Aurora has social anxiety, and awkwardness is something that she experiences a lot. It is difficult to get her to warm up to you or to take down the walls that she has put around herself, and even if you do get her to like you, there's still the difficult task of making sure that you don't slip up. One wrong move, and Aurora will put her walls right back up again. Patience is important when interacting with Aurora, and kindness is key if you plan on befriending her.

If one does manage to get Aurora to consider them as a friend, they’ll inevitably see the more careless, happy-go-lucky side of this teen. She’s adorable in a sense, though she does try her best to seem tough, while also liking to think that she can take on the world by herself.

But, on the other hand, if this sixteen-year-old son of a bitch happens to really hate you, you can expect to be bombarded with insults each second that you're around her. Aurora can't stand arrogance, and when she sees it she finds it hard to keep her temper under control. Aurora herself is not arrogant, but she is rather selfish, only doing things for her own benefit due to the fact that she does not have any friends to call her own, nor does she feel like making any. Too much... interaction with people. If Aurora even tries talking to somebody, her anxiety will kick in and hold her back, almost like chains. Being blunt is something that Aurora is great at. She is straightforward and will get right to the point if she manages to muster up the courage to talk to somebody, or if they talk to her first. Some people don't mind her rather harsh bluntness while others hate it. Speaking of hate, others' opinions don't matter to Aurora. In her mind, she has more important things to worry about than the delinquents that make up the human race and criticize her.

Aurora has a rather immense imagination that tends to wander a lot. It's almost like she never grew out of being a child in terms of her wild imagination and extreme ideas. Of course, she never says these ideas out loud. Really, this imagination of hers is just a place for her to escape to in order for her to drown her sorrows and get away from reality. She is quite clever though, and quick-thinking when it really counts. She knows how to survive and has other knowledge, too. More than any information broker. Or, at least, she likes to think. While it is true that Aurora has tons of information, and while most of it is very useful, some of it is just random stuff. Like how cats can't taste sweetness, or like how potatoes are 80% water. Interesting, but not exactly life-saving. Aurora really doesn't know why people are disappointed whenever they ask her for information and get told that a quarter of all of the bones in your body are located in your feet. Oh, well. Their loss.

Aurora was part of the archery team at her highschool, and on top of that she was one of the best. As a result, this girl is aware of how to use a bow, but that’s not all. From a young age, her father had been teaching her how to handle herself had she ever found herself in a situation where she was struggling to survive or her life was put in extreme peril. He taught her how to fight with a knife, survival skills, plenty of information regarding maps of America, and more. Since she’s so young, he wanted her to have a chance if her life happened to be at risk. Sadly, he passed before he could teach his daughter everything there is to know, leaving Aurora lacking in some categories of knowledge. She’s never found much of a point in it all, but she's still grateful for everything that her dad taught her.

*Strengths:

-Speed. She can run like the wind. Aurora's light, skinny build and slender legs allow her to run quite fast, which is a massive advantage considering that she has a gun and is easily able to dodge attacks that're thrown at her while also throwing them out quite quickly.

-Agility. Again, Aurora has a very light & skinny build which easily allows her to dodge attacks and makes it so that she can move quickly and easily.

-Knowledge. Aurora has spent a decent amount of time plastering maps onto her eyeballs, so she knows America’s layout extremely well, which includes both minor and major cities, locations that may harbor loot later on, etc. She also harbors good survival skills as well as skills with a knife and bow. This doesn’t mean that she knows everything, though.

-Combat. Even though she may not look like it, Aurora was part of the archery team at her highschool, so she can both aim and handle a bow very well. She also does well with a knife, due to her father teaching her how to defend herself from a young age.

*Weaknesses:

-Brute Strength. Aurora is skinny and doesn't have much muscle, thus making it difficult for her to do many tasks. If she was, say, pinned down by a zombie or another person, she could not force them off or out of her way without the utmost of difficulty.

-Stamina. Aurora isn't one for endurance, which means that if she is running or fighting, she'll get worn out in almost no time. This also applies to her both mentally and emotionally. Put her under too much pressure and both her mental and emotional state will deteriorate rapidly.

-Young & inexperienced. Though Aurora knows a lot, she has yet to experience a lot of the situations that she’s been taught to deal with herself, rendering her vulnerable to failure. She hopes that that never happens, though.

-Closed off and Reserved. Aurora is a very quiet person that puts up walls around herself, making her difficult to communicate with. This can make her difficult to work with in some cases, or can just make talking to her very tedious and annoying. She never has had many friends, either, so it’s no surprise that she lacks any social skills.
