When Alex grabbed ahold of Sky's hands, interlocking them, he looked down at them. Looking back up, making eye contact with his sapphire eyes, he couldn't believe that Alex was really there with him. His eyes wandered from his eyes to his lips, cheeks, nose, hair, and then back to his eyes again. He truly was beautiful, and out of all the boys at their school Sky was surprised that he was here with him. Sky listened intently to what Alex began to say, and he gave him a flirty smile before responding. "Oh really, and what is that reward?" Sky replied in a flirtatious and playful tone, leaning in closer to Alex as he spoke. He couldn't help smirking, but a faint blush began to paint across his cheeks. What could Alex possibly be thinking, Sky was dying to know.

Alex hadn't failed to notice the way that Skylar's eyes seemed to wander over his face before returning to his gaze. The very possibility that Skylar enjoyed watching and looking at him so much made his breath catch. He swallowed thickly and did his best to keep the light smile he wore on his lips. With his heart racing all the more the moment Skylar offered him a flirty smile and leaned closer, Alex gave a soft hum as if in serious thought. What could he give Skylar as a reward? There were plenty of ideas that seemed to present themselves but none of them seemed good enough. For instance, he considered proposing a kiss as a reward, but considering they'd already locked lips a few times before that didn't seem quite as special as he wanted it to be. Something special.

He bit lightly at his bottom lip, a habit Alex was prone to when nervous or concentrating on something. "How about..." He started when an idea that seemed good enough appeared. "A wish?" He finished with a nod. "We can do something you want to do. Just you and me?" It was the closest that Alex would ever come to openly expressing his being okay with a date, a kiss, or something more, so long as it was something that Skylar wanted. He shifted on the edge of the bed, turning to face Skylar a little more as he waited for an answer.

Sky looked down at Alex's lips, the way he subconsciously bit his bottom lip was cute. Once his lips parted to speak Sky's eyes moved back up to his eyes for a moment. "Oh yeah, so a date?" Skylar said, still with that flirty tone and sexy smirk on his face. Even though Sky was acting all confident, deep down he was really nervous. Alex still made him really nervous despite the many intimate moments they had shared. Skylar looked down at Alex's lips, and back up to his eyes. Sky couldn't help himself, he looked back down at his lips and before Alex could even answer, Sky's lips were on his. It was a simple kiss, but slow and intimate. As Sky pulled away and their lips parted, he looked at Alex through his lashes.

Alex felt his heart flutter and his cheeks warm as they reddened with a faint blush at Skylar's response. How could he so easily and confidently bring up a date? And god, that tone and that sexy smirk, it was like a weapon that Skylar so expertly wielded to draw him close. Looking away Alex dipped his head a nod. He looked back at Skylar and was about to answer when suddenly Sky's lips were on his own. With his breath catching in his throat he looked at Skylar, eyes wide in surprise before he slowly leaned into the kiss and returned it. It still felt so surreal, that he was not only being kissed by a guy but kissing him back. After all the years and effort he'd spent to appear like a normal, straight, teenager... When Skylar pulled away, Alex was frozen for what seemed ages but couldn't have been more than a couple of seconds. He was sure his cheeks were flushed with a fairly bright blush and though he felt desperate to hide such a sight from Skylar he found himself unable to tear his ocean blue hues from Sky's emerald green gaze.

"Fuck, I missed the way you taste." Sky breathed so confidently. He looked back down at Alex's lips, going back in for another kiss. This time he kissed him a little more passionately. He didn't want to stop, but he did after a hot second. Sky found his heart beating fast, but he craved Alex so much. As Sky pulled away, he gave Alex such a needy look. He looked away, breathing in deeply and giving Alex's hand a gentle squeeze. Some of the hair that had fallen out of his messy bun fell in front of his face. He moved the hair behind his ear as he looked down at their hands. "Well, since you said something I want to do, then let's go to a drive in. We can get snacks from the store and bring blankets." Sky said looking over at him, "I got a truck so we can lay in the back of it." Sky added.

Again Alex's breath caught in his throat when Skylar spoke, the warmth of his breath washing over his face. His words nearly pulled a whimper from him, a fact that startled Alex. He couldn't ever remember feeling so strongly a reaction to any such kiss or words someone had given him before. Perhaps that was because he hadn't been romantically interested in any of his previous paramours, and Skylar was different. Not only was Skylar someone that Alex wanted and liked, but he also knew him and his secret. Skylar knew about his sexuality and the fact that he was still hiding who he was from everyone, including his parents, and he hadn't judged or condemned him for it.

When Skylar kissed him again, this time more passionately, Alex wasn't able to keep the soft hum from escaping him and falling into the kiss as he melted into and returned it. His heart was hammering and speeding wildly inside his chest, like some horse galloping frantically. When Skylar pulled back and looked at him, Alex caught the need in his gaze and was certain his own expression held the same look, though perhaps not as strong or vivid. He swallowed and let his gaze move to Sky's hands watching as he brushed his brown locks from his face, tucking them behind his ear. At the sound of Skylar's voice, Alex returned his eyes to Sky's own and listened as he spoke before smiling faintly. "A drive-in." He repeated. Honestly, he loved the sound of that. Watching a movie with Skylar, underneath a star-filled sky, and with a blanket lying over them. "I like the sound of that." He admitted with a smile as he looked up at Skylar.

Skylar smiled as Alex spoke, "Good," He then replied. "Also since we've got a couple of hours until it's dark, I have someplace we can go before then." Skylar added. He smiled and got up, pulling Alex up with him. It was when Alex got up that Sky finally let go of his hand. He walked towards the door, opening it and leaving it open for Alex. He walked out into the living room, looking for his mom. "Hey mom, I'm going to borrow the truck for a bit. We'll be going to a drive-in once it gets dark so we'll be back late." Sky said. He glanced behind him and then back over to his mom. "Okay honey, the keys are on the island." Danielle replied. "Okay." Sky replied to his mom as he turned around and began walking towards the island. "Alex, let's bring the blankets and pillows now so we dont have to come back for them." Sky said softly to Alex. He then walked past him and back into his room. He grabbed a pillow and threw it at Alex, and then bundles his blanket up, grabbing it and his other pillow as well. "Okay, see you later mom. Thanks for letting me borrow the truck." Sky said in an awfully cheery voice. Glancing at Alex he made his way to the front door and put on his shoes. He then waited for Alex to put his shoes on before walking out the door. He started walking towards the black truck in the driveway. He threw the blanket and pillow in the back before going to the driver's side and getting it. It was still pretty early, only 12 pm. The sun was shining and it was pretty warm out. They would we spending the whole day together and Sky was excited about that but he was more excited that it was a date. Buckling his seatbelt, he waited until Alex was in the passenger seat and buckled as well before turning on the engine. "So, you excited?" Sky asked as he turned his head to look at Alex, he also put his hand on Alex's thigh for a moment. He didn't keep his hand there for long because he was afraid of making Alex uncomfortable, so instead he grabbed ahold onto Alex's hand and interlocked their hands.

Skylar's excitement was clear, entirely evident, and visible. Seeing it brought a smile to Alex's lips and he bit back a pleased chuckle. He was both relieved and happy that he could do and give something to Skylar that made him smile the way he did. The spark of happiness in his eyes was something that Alex never wanted to see go out. He liked that light of eagerness and excitement in Skylar's green gaze. "Someplace else?" Alex repeated, his tone inquisitive and curious. As he was pulled to his feet he raised a brow and tilted his head slightly. With it being so close to noon there was still a good couple of hours before the drive-in opened, where exactly did Skylar intend to take them during that time?

When Skylar let go of his hand, Alex let it return to his side and moved to follow him out of the room. He felt excited himself, eager and happy at the idea of being able to spend the rest of the day with Skylar. Silently Alex listened as Skylar spoke to his mother, and found himself slightly surprised at how casual the conversation was. If he'd walked up to his parents requesting not only to use their car but suggesting he was going to be out fairly late he'd be bombarded with questions. Each one would have to be answered to the satisfaction of his parents or else he wouldn't be allowed to leave the house, and yet that wasn't the case here. There was a twinge of envy at the interaction but he swiftly brushed it aside. It was no secret that his parents were overly strict, nor was it a secret that most family relationships were likely like that of Skylar and his mom.

Again Alex trailed after him as he moved back to the room and when a pillow was thrown his way he swiftly moved to catch it. "Alright." He said with a faint chuckle as Skylar suggested bringing everything they'd need for the drive-in now so they didn't have to come back. It made sense, after all doing so both saved gas and time. "Do you need help carrying anything else?" He asked as he stepped back and out of the way so that Skylar could get past him and out of the room. As he did so he kept his gaze on Skylar, and then followed him out and to the truck. Once everything was put away he let out a soft sigh and moved around to the passenger side of the vehicle. Pulling the door open he climbed in and leaned back in the seat. Fastening his seatbelt, Alex threw a glance toward Skylar when he asked his question and paused for a second when he felt his hand rest on his thigh. He cleared his throat slightly at that before giving a nod. "I get to spend the day with you. Of course, I'm excited." He answered with a smile and a soft chuckle.

Skylar smiled at Alex's response, "Oh be quiet." Sky replied. He let go of Alex's hand so he could shift the gear into reverse. He looked behind him and around at his surroundings before backing up. Skylar's Bluetooth connected and so Metallica started randomly playing, and it was quite loud. Sky shook his head slightly, putting the car into drive once he fully backed out of the driveway. "Oh lord, sorry about that. I tend to leave the truck on full blast before shutting it off and my Spotify always connects and plays the last song I was listening to." Sky said over the music. He then turned the music down a bit before grabbing ahold of Alex's hand again. Sky wanted to be touching him, he didn't want to let go unless he had to. Sky's driving was smooth, and quite good for only having his G2 for a couple of months, especially good for driving a truck as well.

Alex smirked, pleased with the reaction and the response he managed to pull from Skylar. He had meant it, that he was excited to spend the day with him. The idea of it just being the two of them, unbothered by friends or family sounded... well... perfect. He parted his lips to say something but was startled into silence when Metallica started booming over the speakers of the truck the moment it was turned on and the Bluetooth connected. He glanced toward the radio before turning his gaze to Skylar and watching as he backed out. When Sky reached for his hand again he glanced down at it and smiled some before moving to intertwine their fingers. "It's okay." He said after hearing Sky's explanation. He was quiet a moment before looking towards Skylar once again. "So, Metallica huh?" He said with both interest and amusement. "What's your favorite song by them?" He asked with a slight tilt of his head.
