Irides Nic | Army(Illyrian-Pixiel | Night Court | 404 yrs | Mentions: none
☆☆☆
Iri shortly found his camp Lagoonmire, one of the many ones that the kingdom had carefully placed to secure their home, thoigh rather uncomfortablyclose to the Day Court. Iri stretched, popping his neck and shoulders. He wandered around, looking for another face to talk to. When he saw no one, he decided to sit under a tree. He headed over to one, but as he touched it, his back tingled strangley. It was like dull electricity, but at the same time like a winding tickle. It lasted for only a few heartbeats, but Iri was sweating in seconds. He wiped their brow and took a deep breathe. That was really weird... they thought. Now anxious and cautious, Iri backed away from the tree and looked around wildly. They flicked open their wings and let the sky's bright light beat down on the golden velvet. With another twitch he fluttered wearily over to a large, slightly black, rock. As he looked around further, he heard rustling. Not wanting to be caught in a fight, or anything, the couldn't win, they shot out of their, heading towards where one of the many cities laid, hoping that being amongst others would calm their nerves.
☆☆☆
Iri decided to head to Chrysocolla, a city in which he moved to after living in the forest for a few decades to "clear his head." Once he landed just outside the city, he relaxed, and the anxiety from the spook in the camp erased from his mind. He slide inside the city, smiling at the canopy, unaware of the strange yellow mark on his back. He set on heading towards the center of the city, where he assumed it'd be busiest.

Gwyneira | 450 | Spymaster (Day Court) || Mentions: Aziel, Solfrid (ind)
...
Sighing roughly Gwyn pulled her hood further forward, pushing herself away from her spot. Having grown restless she opened her wings, easily lifting herself into the air as she bagan to patrol the area. Slowly widening her patrol she paused noticing a figure moving across the field. Frowning as upon further inspection, the figure was a human woman. Accompanied by an equine mount no less. Stealthily she dropped down into the forest, tailing the pair from the shadowed trees. Perching lightly on a branch she paused watching the pair at the river, how'd they gotten this far into fae territory was beyond her. But she'd ensure they wouldn't leave without regretting the choice to do so.
.
Opening her wings she let the wind carry her silenty, swooping down she landed opposite the woman. "Identify youself, intruder!" Gwyn voiced, pulling the blade at her side from it's sheath. The weapon pointed to the human with a brief motion for her to stand. "Choose your words carefully, least I behead you where you stand" she warned, blue gaze flashing dangerously from beneath her hood. She observed the human and her mount, watching them carefully as they processed her appearance. While she was pleasantly surprised the equine hadn't bolted when she landed, Gwyn could understand there was a strong bond between the two. Her wings shifted as she readied herself for whatever action she must take, be it to engage or simply detain them for trespassing.

~ Lua
The owl shifted faintly as she dipped her head to the lady before it's piercing gaze met Solfrid's, a question passed through a brief mental link. 'Will you attend the festival? I await your orders' Lua clicked her beak softly, tilting her head as she awaited the lady's response to her master's message.

Day Court Royal Guard || Mentions: Other Royal Guard, Matt & Val
...
The seasoned guard sat atop his mount, watching silently as fellow guardsmen moved about in their daily chores. Pausing as the sound of hurried hoofbeats, frowning as he heard the fellow royal guard's report. Turning he called out to a nearby guard, "alter the High Lady, quickly" he barked causing the male to rush off on his own mount. Returning to his fellow royal guard with a steeled expression, "quickly, we must catch them". Pushing the horses forward he races beside the other guard, the horse's hooves pounding against the ground.
.
They reached the two human's with a quickness, thanks to the large thoroughbred's they rode. Frowing as he spotted the eqine and it's two riders, glancing at the other male with a nod. He motioned for them to come from both sides before pulling away. His voice stern as he called out, "halt! Intruders!!" The guard pulling his mount towards the pair's right side, one hand free in case if they try anything.

(apologies for the shorter length)

Maeve | 560 | Illyrian Hybrid || Night Court || Mentions: (dir)Aether, Sabela, Night Court (NPC)ind
...
Her gaze met Aether's briefly as he greeted her, a gentle smile and dip of her head to the male. "No trouble's at all my Lord" Maeve placed her hand on her chest briefly, her way of saluting without being abvious. But it spoke of her loyalty to Aether, as she assurred him.
.
Pausing she smirked at Sabela's comment, lifting a hand to cover her mouth as she chuckled. "Well if not only the Lord and his spymaster would be in attendance, it would be appropriate for me as well" she replied. While it was the truth, her tone and suptle gleam held a sharper teasing. A veiled warning. Reminding her of the line they treaded so carefully. Meave wouldn't do anything to displease Aether's rule, even if she found some things difficult to agree with.
.
However she hesitated noticing the woman's gaze linger on her dress, raising an eyebrow as she placed a hand on her hip. Grinning she tilted her head, "I can have another made for you if you'd like" Meave chuckled. Gently teasing the woman for her lingering gaze. However movement caught her eye, pausing she spotted a familiar fey. A grin pulling at her red lips, giving a brief farewell to the pair she sauntered off. Set on further teasing the pour guard.
.
She'd been in conversation when Aether's voice sounded through the space, causing her to grow quiet and turn to him. Listening silently she let a rare soft smile slip through, this is what she'd looked up to him for. His care for his people and efforts to give them better lives. Sighing she nodded her head, watching the male settle on the throne. Less than comfortably she noted, but regardless seated. Turning away she moved through the crowd to find a spot off to the side, motlen gaze silently observing. A glass held delicatly in her hand, left mostly untouched.

Nevari | 250 | Water-Fae || Day Court || Mentions: Aziel(ind)
...
As she danced through the garden, Neva passed a series of large windows. Pausing as she spotted the form of Aziel gathering food from the kitchen, causing her to chuckle. Turning she trotted back to her quarters, searching her many herbs. Quickly making a tea and drawing water from the clear spring, Neva smiled as she felt the cool glass against her palms. Quick steps brought her down the many paths and into the palace, where she skillfully navigated to the kitchens. While she didn't freaquent the palace halls often, Neva had ensured she knew their layout well enough to attend her duities as healer.
.
However she found herself hesitating as she approached, suddenly finding herself nervous in the male's presence. Taking a breath she steadied herself, meeting the larger male's gaze briefly before she dipped her head in greeting. "Please have this tea, it should help with the sun's heat" she voiced softly, holding the cup out to him with delicate hands. Rising only once he'd taken it from her hands, smiling brightly to him. Her eyes sparkled as she met his gaze again, surprisingly having forgotten her earlier nervousness. "If you find youself at unease with the heat, please let me know. I can find something to help alieviate your discomfort" Neva spoke gently, hoping the male would accept her offer. It was he calling to care for others, besides he was their guest, it would be rude not to help make him more comfortable during his stay.

Caite | 24 | Human | Mentions: Gwyn

The young woman had been so focused on trying to clear her skin of the mark that when the being landed by her, she first fell into the water as Aura pranced a few steps away looking between the two. Caite pushed a few strands from her eyes with the water as she stood, water dripping from her frame onto the ground. Her hands lifted in submission when the other female spoke.

"I didn't...Ma nam' is..." Her thoughts quickly barreling down the tracks in her mind as her eyes locked in on the blade. Aura's anxious energy was palpable to her rider as well and the mare quickly nudged Caite then snorted when she felt the water against her muzzle.

"Ah' mean no 'arm. As ye' can see Ah' 'ave no weapon." The quiver of arrows rested against Aura's shoulder but it was easily noticed that the weapon to use said arrows was nowhere to be seen. The young mare's ears twitched listening to the accent of her rider getting thicker as more nervous energy filled the human. As a way to release some of the pent up anxiety, the mare stretched out a front leg gently pawing in the air before pressing up against Caite.

"Easay Aura." She whispered lifting a hand to place against the horse's neck and pet softly. Her gaze moved over to her mount, making sure she was still okay before returning to the one asking questions of her. Taking a deep breath as she closed her eyes to calm her nerves before she spoke again, Caite wrapped her arms around her torso feeling the chill of the water start to set in.

"I am Caite. I was following a deer when my horse spooked and we ended up here. I was just taking a moment before trying to head back home." The accent still danced with each word but it was evident that she was trying to keep it from thickening once more. Her sleeves had fallen down hiding the markings upon her arm and a soft shiver was moving across her body.

"No one needs to lose their head today."

Valerie | 24 | Huntress | Mentions: Matt & Day Court Guard 2 (Dir) Caite (ind)

Bringing Arturus to a trot and ignoring Matt’s initial question they had managed to cover an extensive portion of ground and had yet found anything significant… or so Val thought. Squinting Val could make out what appeared to be a bow on the ground. It was very likely dropped by Caite on purpose in order to make it easier for the pair to find her. Clicking her tongue twice and pulling on the rein lightly to guide Arturus toward the dropped item, she would squeeze her thighs to stop the dappled grey gelding beside the bow.

“Well at least we are getting somewhat close to finding her now.” She stated blandly, peering down to see if any tracks remained close to give an idea as to which direction to go.

Before the pair could do anything further she heard the aggressive clomping of hooves beating against the greenery and soon two large fae had quickly and strategically stopped the search party in their tracks.

‘Well isn’t this just splendid.’ She thought to herself.

“Well Matt, it is safe to say that both our feelings of unease and discomfort are mutually shared given the situation we have found ourselves in.” She would add softly, beneath gritted teeth.

Observing the pair of guards she would quickly realize these weren’t just any sort of guard but they appeared to be royal guards. Something about the way they had approached the pair had given some clue as to how experienced they were. Their armor had also given a clue as to what court they may have belonged to as well, noting the large celestial sun that sat at the very center of their chest plates. Recalling that there had been several courts all relating to a season including the day and night courts.

Better to surrender than pick a fight, because if we are lucky they might just be nice enough to let us go.

“We apologize for our intrusion onto your lands. We mean no harm to you and your kind. We have unfortunately lost a fellow huntress and are simply searching for her.” She would state firmly to the lead guard.

↠↠↠

Day Court Royal Guard 1 (Anatole) | Unknown Age | NPC | Mentions: Val & Matt (Dir) Other Guard (Ind)

Following his fellow guardsman lead, Anatole would guide his mount toward the left flank of the dappled gelding before them. Placing the reins in his left hand and resting his right hand atop of the pommel of his sword, should either intruder reach for their weapons. He would be sure to make quick work of making the first move and threat should it be required. For now he’d allow his stern gaze to fall upon the pair and burn through their uneasy glances.

Anatole’s golden pools burned like an unending flame and did not waver to exhibit his intention to inflict harm should it be required. A slight breeze would allow his golden blonde long hair to brush against his face lightly. His pallid skin would glimmer against the brightness of the sun which was not uncommon of Day Court fae. His long sharp ears picked up every sound in the forest including the vocals of a well known spymaster speaking to yet a third intruder, likely the proclaimed huntress the pair before him had been searching for. A smirk would spill across his visage as he’d soon allow his vocals to escape.

“Your huntress is in the mighty hands of our Spymaster and is likely to be taken before our Queen for a decision to be made. Seeing as you have trespassed and crossed borders that are never to be crossed by those of your kind.” He would add briskly, his mask soon growing cold.

“You two will be bound atop of your mount and also taken to our Queen. It would be preferred that you surrender your weapons and dismount and allow us to do as such for the latter decision will not be favorable.” He would add briskly, getting to the point.

While he had wanted to sit on the sidelines for this interaction he would figure it best to regain charge of the interaction, having been the primary guard to spot them. Glaring at the pair he would await their decision. Wary of what surrendering their weapons would entail.

↠↠↠

Sabela | 554 | Illyrian | Spymaster (Night Court) | Mentions: Aether (ind)

Listening to the High Lord give his speech a short lived grin spilled across her face recollecting a memory of her first witnessing him practice giving a speech. She had been present for all of his speeches from then on and served as encouragement whenever he grew complacent with himself. Eventually her mask would give nothing but a warm gaze inviting those to approach her, realizing that even while on guard duty she could still afford to mingle with those of their Court.

Sabe never really viewed herself in any particular way. She was no greater than the fae of the Night Court nor was she any lesser. While many older generation Illyrians had a distaste with the females of her generation or younger choosing to learn the complicated dance of battle she held no grudges against them having accepted that it would be a generational gap that would eventually die off over time.

While having no particular requests for the event Sabe did not come empty handed, hearing Aether claim his seat she would soon dismiss herself momentarily to deliver the first offerings of the evening. Her long elegant gown would seem to shimmer and dance in the moonlight as she gracefully sauntered toward the table delivering two crystals, one on her behalf and another upon Aether’s. They were of opposing colors, one of the darkest obsidian and the other a pearly white quartz that seemed to glow under the moonlight. She would bow her skull and soon turn to stand beside Aether on his throne, giving him a warm grin as she climbed up the steps regally poised and stood to his left. She would give her wings a slight jostle before returning to her guardian-like duties.

Her golden hues gazed upon the crowd. Events like these always made Sabe feel at home. There was something about the togetherness that events such as the one tonight would bring, that brought her inner peace. Still on guard of course, she knew if anything were out of sorts she would make quick work to address it hastily.

Aether Vairon | High Lord (Night Court) | 564 | Mentions; Sabela (dir) & Solfrid (ind)
It had been a day after the ritual. Aether paced back and forth down the first floor hallway. Most of the lesser fae that worked within the castle had gone down to the meadow that morning both to clear the offerings from the table and to pick some flowers. The flowers were just going to be used as decorations scattered across Celestine. A lot of the fae there loved to spread the forest flowers where ever they could. Aether had listened in and heard the chatter around the ritual, and interacted with a few other members to get an idea about what his court was concerned about for the furture. The most common answer was Solfrid, they were all concerned about Solfrid taking over their court and turning it into something just like hers. Aether had assured them that nothing would happen, and they should trust him because he was and is the most powerful High Lord but even so.. he understood.
Aether didn't notice Sabela coming towards him before it was too late, he walked straight into her.
"Shit- Sorry, Sabe." Aether bowed his head in apology once he stepped back.

Caite | 24 | Human | Mentions: Open, various npcs.

Of all the insufferable things they could have done....I would have rather been put in the dungeon over wearing this poor excuse of a dress.

The young woman rubbed the silken fabric between her finger and thumb as a couple of the servants were wrapping the scant amount of fabric around her body. Even as she stood there, her free arm was held up against her chest trying to cover the massive scar that she was so self concious about. Every time she attempted to move the fabric to cover it more, one of the servants would smack her hand and put the piece back to the plunging neckline. Caite had finally given up after a couple tr-hundred attempts. The dark green silk was held together with various delicate chains that accentuated the curves the woman normally had hidden under the layers of clothing. A short hmph was snorted when Caite released the bit of fabric she had in her other hand that she then used to push some strands of hair behind her ear.

A delicate piece of jewelry was clasped around her upper right thigh, left bicep, and delicate chains were drapped over her shoulders where the excess was hung over her right side to give balance to the outfit. Various rings were then placed rather hurriedly on her fingers as she wasn't giving the servants much of a chance to hold her appendages for very long while the one that was decorating her hair with soft summer flowers, just seemed happy that her head wasn't moving as much as the rest of her body.

Of course Caite had attempted to get dressed in her regular clothes when she had first woken up in the strange room, but to her disgruntlement, her original clothing items were nowhere to be seen. Then she had all of about 5 seconds to compose herself before the gaggle of servants came bursting in with the 'outfit'.

The young woman was relieved when the small group finally left her and she was stood staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her eyes roamed over the way they had placed the fabic, leaving slits up both of her thights and under her arms. The fabric was tastefully hiding what it needed and the chains helped cover a little more of her lightly tanned skin but not as much as she would have liked. Her eyes instantly flew to her scar that was partially covered by the chains that rested on her chest and shoulders but as her hand gently traced over the outline, the raised edge of her insecurity became exposed. The chains didn't lay flat against her body near the scar and she felt as though it was on display for everyone to stare and laugh at.

She looked about the room once more trying to find anything that she could cover herself with, but when her eyes landed on a bunch of nothingness, she turned and left the room with a sigh. The soft thudding of her bare feet hitting the floor as she walked almost wasn't enough to drown out the sounds of those whispering as they worked. Her arms instinctively wrapped around her torso as she kept walking, wanting to shrink and hide away from the gazes that would glance over her.

Caite didn't know where she was going and to try and escape the looks and murmurs, she ducked through a door finding herself standing in what appeared to be the garden. Her eyes glanced about looking to see if anyone was around before she ventured farther into the tall rosebush walls.

Aziel Castor | High Fae/Illyrian | Lost Count | Mentions; Solfrid(ind) & Caite (dir)
Aziel Castor trudged out of the main hallway. He had just come from a conversation with Solfrid, again. He never liked those, they always ended up with him fuming afterwards. The last conversation was the subject of the humans and what to do with them. Solfrid was treating them like guests, apparently, and told Aziel not to interact with them because they might get "scared".
"I am NOT scary." Aziel growled, stomping into the garden in annoyance.
"If anything I'd be considered handsome, not scary. What a bitch." Aziel was trying to cut down on his swearing, but since the High Lady was so infuriating to him.. it was kind of difficult at the moment. If he were allowed to return to Aether and the Night Court maybe he wouldn't swear so much. Maybe he was getting delirious from heatstroke. Nobody can deny the heat of the Day Court, not even the lesser fae that work here. Aziels thoughts slowly calmed down as he wandered the garden, fluttering his wings in annoyance while he didn't pay attention to them.
He rounded the corner, spotting one of the humans Solfrid had captured. "Hmm.. And who might you be?" Aziel sauntered over, peering down at her.

Sabela | 554 | Illyrian | Spymaster (Night Court) | Mentions; Aether (Dir) Solfrid (Ind)

Abandoning the comfort of her bedroom Sabe would briskly make her way down the arched grand staircase and find a pacing Aether in her midst. She quickly began pondering whether they were late for an event; however, his attire had told her otherwise. Taking a few steps toward him…

Ooof!

Colliding with Aether felt like walking right into a brick wall. Being bumped back a few steps she was fortunate enough of their height difference to not have been able to knock skulls with the High Lord. That or fall right to the ground for that matter. Scrunching her eyebrows and peering up at him rubbing a sore spot upon her shoulder, she would begin to wonder why he would appear so disturbed. She would soon waver her hand in gesture to remind him to forget about formalities, accepting his overly formal apology.

“What seems to have your mind Aeth? I cannot say I have seen you this distracted nor bothered by anything in a long while. This wouldn’t happen to be about the worries the members of our court have expressed, would it?” She’d suggest, having a decent amount of insight of what possibly could be preoccupying his mind at the moment.

Today’s attire would consist of black form fitted riding bottoms, a deep forest green velvet form fitted turtleneck long sleeve top, dark brown lace up leather bracers, and knee high black riding boots. She wouldn’t be found without one of her two swords. Mercurius would be carried in tow today seated proudly on her right hip sheathed by a matching dark brown leather belt. Atop her chest and over her turtleneck would shine a glowing opal necklace, the piece itself appearing to mimic the glow of the moon.

She had heard much about the High Lady of the Day Court and many reports were mixed, keeping her suspicion high. There were numerous accounts of her having several types of facades. Some would claim she was nothing short of one of the kindest, most respected High Fae whereas others spat at her name in distaste given their encounters with her. Sabe, again, would remain indifferent understanding the reasoning behind this future courtship but would continue to hold her neutral position until formalities have been passed.

↠↠↠

Valerie | 24 | Huntress | Mentions: Caite, Matt, Solfrid (ind) {Open}

Having thrown one of the most enormous fits of her entire life in protest to wearing a dress Val had managed to convince the fae tending to her to dress her simply. They had given her a pair of dark brown form fitted riding bottoms, a silk evergreen colored cropped cold shoulder bustier top, and a pair of dark brown knee high riding boots. As they attempted to embellish her hair with various flowers, her natural waves would seamlessly spit them back out of where they were placed. The fae then instead opted to grace her waistline with golden chains lined with pearls, litter her fingers with plain golden rings, place a golden cuff on her left shoulder, and grace her wrists with solid golden bracelets. Finally feeling as though their guest was for the most part in clothing that was agreeable to their court the gaggle of fae had dismissed themselves.

Finally!

Taking a glance at herself this had to be a more formidable outfit for the likes of her, outside of the revealing top of course and slew of jewelry. These lands were so foreign, she had only recalled so much from the storytelling of her father before his dismissal. They had yet to meet the High Lord…. High Lady of this Court and upon being brought to the castle she had been separated from Matt and not yet able to see whether they actually had managed to capture Caite.

Her room was massive, it was almost the size of her own cottage that she shared with her sister. Littered with windows to the outside world the sunlight was quite blinding. She would soon walk toward one of the windows and peer out toward a nearby garden. To her amazement she would see what appeared to be Caite in a quite revealing dress and what would appear to be a larger winged male approaching her. Having her eyeballs nearly burst out of their sockets she would dash toward the door and attempt to get through the maze of a castle and get to Caite, perhaps running into Matt on her way.

Maeve | 560 | Illyrian Hybrid || Night Court || Mentions: (dir)Aether, Sabela
...
A gentle sigh escaped her as she walked down the palace halls, she'd left her report with the commander and was on her way out. Maeve's dislike for the closed walls of the castle was well known, seeing as she limited her time within as much as she could. Her boots near silent in contract to the faint jingle of chains and jewels she always wore. Despite being a member of the army, she wasn't one found without some form of shinny accessory. Today taking the form of her signature necklace and charms adorning her waist.
.
Dressed in a black layered skirt that held a soft dusting of glitter, sparkling akin to the night sky. Tall black Ilyrian leather boots matching her laced bracers and corset, both of which were accented by a shimmering crimson lace within. While her top was a deep cut velvety black, accented at the collar and off the shoulder sleaves with satin reds. Her bone armor adorned missing it's previous chain adornments, yet the charms remained upon her feathered wings.
.
Hearing voices as she neared the entrance Maeve paused briefly noticing Aether and Sabe conversing, the former looked to be on edge from something. She frowned with a tilt of her head, before descending the stairs to join the two.
"Greetings" she voiced on approach with a dip of her head to the pair, sparing a brief smirk towards the other female. Has something happened? You seem.." Maeve paused briefly considering her words, "on edge". She silently looked the high lord over, concern showing as she watched him. Almost completely ignoring the spymaster who stood just to the side, yet still aware of her presence and voice.
