Rock l Male l He/Him l Adult . He was happy that Tony agreed, he seemed like a good cat to be around, and hey, two is always better then one. Suddenly, Tony's eyes darted to something behind him. Rock turned slowly, green eyes scanning til he saw it, another cat. How many would he see today? This other cat, seemed friendly, and Tony was scared, so he shouldnt be. He let Tony do the talking. Spire was this other cats name. "Sorry, if I would have know you were near, I would have saved some. Name is Rock by the way, and nice to meet you Spire." Bow three cats were in their litte "clan". "Hey, welcome to the clan." He said, smile on his face.

Dapple/ F/ adult/ M: open Dapple's stomach growled. Well no use handing from the rain now. Slowly she crept out of the burrow and sniffed the air. She couldn't smell anything threw the rain. She decided to wander around to try to find anything.
She walked into the more crowded area of human dens. There might be a mouse or rat scavenging the trash. After she passes a few bins she finds a small scrawny mouse. It wasn't much but she was lucky to find it.
Dapple drops into a crouch and starts stalking the mouse. She slowly gets closer and finally pounces. She catches the mouse and kills it swiftly.

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult ''Nice to meet you Rock, and thank you. I'm glad we have this little clan.'' Spire smiled, he never thought he'd end up in any sort of group, but now that he was here, he's glad it happened. ''I can just catch a mouse or something later, I ate before the rain so I should be fine. I'm curious to know y'all's stories though. Mine is pretty bland, I was born and raised in the same alley I live in now. At one point my mother did try and explore the big forest beside the city, she ran right back. Said it was too scary'' he shrugged. Spire rests his tail over his paws, waiting for the others to speak. Edited at December 28, 2023 06:14 PM by Essence of the Wolf

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony sat beside Spire, also eager to hear the stories of the other felines and how they ended up there. He listened to Spire tell his tale and about his mothers attempt to explore the forest on the outside. "I don't think that's bland at all - sounds kind of cool," Tony meowed, his tone slightly humorous. He searched through his own brain, through all the memories he had tried to bury - and surely enough, it struck him like lightning. His memories as a kitten, growing up in a household with humans - it was a hellish life. He remembered being carried out of there and into the streets by his mother one night, where he would learn to survive for likely the rest of his life. Remembering his past sent an unpleasant shiver down Tony's spine, and for once turned the usual warmth of his expression cold. Edited at December 28, 2023 06:24 PM by ignited

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult ''Tony, you alright?'' Spire turned to face Tony with a concerned look. Tony's face had turned from a smile to a frown, and his eyes had gone cold, not the usual warmth he had before. ''You all of a sudden shivered and your face got all weird.'' Spire's gaze narrowed and he lifted up a paw, gingerly resting it on Tony's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. I wonder what he's thinking..., was his past really that bad? Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony nearly jumped out of his skin as he was drawn out of his daydreaming by a paw on his shoulder. Though, as he realized it was just Spire, he sighed and loosened up a bit again, his warm gaze returning as he looked at him. Don't seem weak in front of the new cat, Tony, he thought to himself. "Yeah, I'm fine," he meowed back in reply, his voice a bit hesitant. Tony gave a sigh, looking back down at his paws on the concrete ground. He couldn't help but ponder what life would be like if he hadn't had such a rough beginning. Would he be some pampered house-kitty, snuggling up in a warm bed and fed delicious kibble? He began to zone out once again...

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult "Alright" Spire gave a short nod to show his acknowledgement as he removed his paw from Tony's shoulder. His gaze rested on Tony as he watched his expressions seem to change. He must be deep in thought Spire murmured to himself. He sat there for a moment allowing Tony to think while his gaze flickered around the area, he saw the two large trash cans, and ripped open bags of trash sitting beside them. Must of been from some animal. He thought. When his gaze landed back on Tony, he realized Tony still seemed to be zoned out. Spire nudged him again. "You sure you're alright? You keep zoning out".

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony tried to shake his head clear. "Yeah, yeah, I think I just need to move around a bit and get some fresh air," he murmered lowly to Spire. Standing up, he stretched, then made his way to the metal staircase that went up the nearby appartment complex. Thoughts clouded his mind, disorienting him a bit, but he thought of it as nothing. He hadn't thought about his mother in a while... the incident... No, he shouldn't think about it now. Forget the past, Tony, he hissed at himself under his breath. Going up the stairs, he glanced down at Spire and Rock. Tony decided that he wouldn't mind if anyone decided to follow him up, but he wouldn't ask anyone to. Don't look weak, Tony. He made it up to the top of the roof, perching himself on the edge. It was mid-day, sun high up in the blue sky - which he found it odd the sky was now clear, considering it had previously been storming - but he didn't care enough to think too much about it. Tony just gazed at the overlook of the city, admiring its beauty.

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult Despite only knowing these two for an hour, Spire felt the need to follow Tony up the stairs. "I'll be back, just want to check on him" Spire mewed to Rock as he turned around and trotted toward the stairs, bounding up each step until he reached the top. Spire didn't say anything, just walked over and sat next to Tony, his gaze resting on the beautiful city landscape around him. After a moment Spire turned to Tony "What's on your mind?" he asked quietly, his eyes searching Tonys for some sort of specific emotion. Edited at December 28, 2023 07:22 PM by Essence of the Wolf
