Nightingale - Female - Heir - M: Timber (direct), everyone else (indirect) Night lunges after Timber, speed through the forest. She would almost catch up, before falling behind when he spotted a rabbit. Nightingale veered of to the right before snapping at a rabbit of her own. All she got was floof. A quick sprint brings her on top of the rabbit. Night bit down, and got floof and food. Night turns and starts to book it to the cliff.

Timber - Male - Apprentice - Mentions: Nightingale - Timber's teeth met the meat and bone of the rabbit, snapping it's neck in seconds. The rabbit's fear scent flooded his nose, but he could make out Nightingale nearby, running with all his might towards the cliff. Shortly, the cliff came in sight, and Timber's legs burned from the exhilaration of the hunt and run. He was sure that Night was just at his tail, ready to leap infront at any moment. A moments stumble, and he would be either off the cliffside and down below who knows where, or he'd be far behind Night. His energy was worn out, and he knew that he would soon have to stop, but the cliff was just a few moments away. A second later, he stood panting at the edge before he looked up to see where Night was.

Stripe - Female - Fighter - M: Jeraboa | Stripe looked at Jeraboa, a flush of embarrassment creeping across her face. "I understand you would never wish harm upon my Jeraboa. The sight of blood unsettles me, despite my nature as a fighter; my perspective has shifted since... the incident." Her voice faltered, and she lowered her gaze to the earth, then back to her outstretched paw. Jeraboa alone bore witness to the full tale of her lost pups. With a quiet resolve, Stripe limped back to her previous spot, settling down with a heavy heart. "Just give me a heads-up this time," she murmured, her eyes flickering between Jeraboa and the ground, her paw extended in a gesture of vulnerability.

Jeraboa - Male - Healer/Heir - M: Stripe "Good girl." Jeraboa says. He walks over to Stripe and looks at her paw. A sharp stone is lodged in the center paw pad. "Hey, relax. Are you ready?" He asks. Jeraboa licks a bit of blood off her chin and takes a hold of the stone in his teeth. "3, 2,1" He pulls and the stone comes out. He spits it out and puts moss on the wound. "No good putting cobwebs on it until the bleeding dies down slightly." Nightingale - Female - Heir - M: Timber (direct), everyone else (indirect) slips on a rock, but gets up. "You... Are... Fast." She gasps. Night wags her tail slowly. She sits down and drops the rabbit. Then her stomach rumbles. "Either I worked up an appetite, didn't eat enough for breakfast, or it's gonna rain." She says. Fenrys - Beta Male - Mention(s): Blu, (ind: Timber) ~ Fenrys nodded. "We can head out for a bit. I was meant to take Timber out this morning for some things, but..." he trailed off a bit, casting a look at the place he had vanished into the trees at. Fenrys idly wondered where he and Nightingale had gone, but quickly dismissed it. He had just been allocated a task that was vastly out of what hewas capable of. It was only natural he'd want to escape - even though Fenrys did want to go to him and tell him what exactly he thought of the Alpha's orders... even he wasn't stupid enough to try. And doubtless he would have kept moving. Turning back to Blu, and quietly jerking his head away from everyone else towards the woods - would he have been right in saying that Blu probably wanted to talk without anyone hearing? He probably might have been. So Fenrys started off towards the trees, angling away from the direction that the apprentices had taken - he had no wish to stumble upon them, as it was their time for now to relax, not his time to drill them into being good - and patiently waited for what Blu had to say. He had a feeling it wasn't going to be in great glowing terms either. But what could he say until Blu felt they were far enough to not be overheard? Edited at October 23, 2024 09:32 PM by Boeing

Blu-Male-Fighter-Mentions: Fenrys - Blu looked to the woods where Fenrys Had looked and a slight shake of the head. “Apprentices will be apprentices.” He said before following Fenrys out into the woods. His face was impassive through the walk, though his mind was running at a million miles an hour. Blu hadn't expected him to send Fenrys out on a mission. Yes he was slightly troublesome to the alpha but one would think he would want to keep his worst enemy close. Hopefully, this mistake would pay off. Fenrys, able to go to another pack away from the prying eyes of the alpha. This could be their big chance. - Blu was drawn from his thoughts hearing a stream. They had been walking for a bit and he was confident no one was arlund them, and looked to Fenrys. “Sorry about taking up some of your morning. I just have two quick things. Ill get the least important one out of the way. I know you have Timber to train, but your a better teacher then me…” He trailed off for a moment before continuing, “I want to ask if you could possibly train Echo a few times. Not long, just basic fighting techniques. I wouldn't normally ask this but I'm worried for her going somewhere unknown, with wolves she doesn't know. So I guess, I'm partially asking you to train her so she has someone she can trust. And you can trust her. Shes a great wolf to have watching your back.” He finished, coming to a stop at the border of a large meadow. - Blu looked around for only a moment before walking into the meadow, his eyes scanning the surrounding tree line. This meadow was perfect for private talks. The grass isn't tall enough to hide any wolves who were trying to follow them, and it's too big to listen in without entering the meadow. He stopped in the middle and sat down. “Now for what I really wanted to talk about. I know we're both pretty keen on new leadership,” He kept his voice low. “An idea popped into my head upon hearing you were going on the expedition. I haven't given it much thought because I thought the Great Alpha would want to keep an eye on you.” He practically spat the words ‘Great Alpha’ out. “What if, you met with that other pack and had them help rid us of Matzaka?” He said before dipping his head lightly. “Forgive me, if any of this has crossed any boundaries. But getting rid of that mouse in a wolf's pelt is important, I assume to both of us.”

Timber - Male - Apprentice - Mentions: Nightingale - Timber laughed, rolling onto his back and closing his eyes for a moment. "Didn't eat enough breakfast, I think." He opened his eyes, sitting up nest to his rabbit. "There are no clouds in the sky, except for that little whispy one over there." He said, motioning his tail towards the mountains. he crouched down, sniffing the rabbit. Should we take this back to camp? The pile was pretty empty when we left. But then again, we'll need all our strength for the trip... He shook the thought out of his mind. Even though they were leaving, it was still a duty to feed the pack, then eat. The hunters would be out soon, though there were not many.

Stripe - Female - Fighter - M: Jeraboa | Stripe gazed deeply into Jeraoa's eyes, a tender moment suspended in time as he gently licked the blood from her chin. A soft smile graced her lips, a flicker of warmth amidst the chaos in her mind. "Yeah," she breathed, a sigh escaping her as if releasing the world's weight. The instant he reached for the stone, she flinched, a reflex born of instinct. She leaned in closer when he spat it onto the ground, curiosity piqued. "Wow, I expected that to be worse," she remarked, surprise lacing her voice like a delicate melody. As she settled down, waiting for the crimson tide to ebb, a question began to stir within her, a hesitant whisper of thought. Unsure yet compelled, she ventured, "Hey Boa..." Her stomach twisted with uncertainty, her voice dwindling to a mere murmur. "Could I sleep here in the medicine den tonight with you?" The words tumbled out, laced with a nervous glimmer. Stripe continued to hold her gaze, the connection between them palpable. "You know, just in case... Also, is it alright if I call you Boa?" By the end, her voice was barely audible, the tremor of her nerves evident in every syllable.

Nightingale - Female - Heir - M: Timber (direct), everyone else (indirect) "the cliff might not be safe to leave from." Night observes. "Do you want to eat, then walk to border? Or walk then eat? You look like you are thinking up an entire back story for your rabbit." Night says. Jeraboa - Male - Healer/Heir - M: Stripe Jeraboa looks up. "Of chorse you can sleep here. It will be lonely without Echo snoring in the corner. As for calling me Boa, I like. I need to think up a nick name for you now." Jeraboa swaps the moss for some cobwebs. "Lay down. Give it some time to settle. Do you need anything?' He asks.

Timber - Male - Apprentice - Mentions: Nightingale - Timber shook his head, laughing. "Let's eat now, and then scout out. It'll be a long wa back to camp without energy,." He said, grabbing his rabbit closer and biting in. The meat was fresh, tasting just like any othe forest rabbit. "Do you think there wil be any new prey in the mountains? I mean, I know they have birds and such, but what about rabbits. Imagine if there are flying rabbits and squirrels around every peak, and they jump out at you if you get too close." He said, smiling internally at his own fantasy as he ate.
