Adira Adira was quick to grab a mug of the froaty beverage and left a celebratory glance towards the party. The canine raised the glass to her face, lapping up the liquid, fighting a burning nose and welling eyes. "That's strong. I like it," She paused remembering Astroya, "Nice meeting you- as well."

'Jari Torka's sudden loud bark filled the room faster than a bolt of lightning hitting the ground, causing 'Jari to jump to her feet in surprise. She jerked her head to look at Torka, but also saw... free drinks? "Oh yes please thank you, Torka!" She swiftly walked over to the counter, grabbing one mug. Then, she chugged the whole thing down in a span of a few seconds. That was a mistake. The bitterness flooded her mouth like a tsunami, but she already swallowed it. She placed the mug back onto the counter, coughing and hacking at the taste, while also crying in her mind tears of regret. Still, she managed to give Torka a thumbs up with a face twisted in regret as she completely rethought the choice she made. Edited at June 15, 2024 10:52 PM by Matunda

Astroya watched Adira and 'Jari in amusement. Granted it was a bitter drink, she had had something similar a few times before she ended up at Glowmire. 'I wonder if she makes it herself or if it's imported somehow.' It definitely tastes better than anything she'd had before, but bitterness is a signature in drinks like these. If it's sweet you did something wrong.

Room #16 Spirit limped into his room with the potion bottle. Drinking it in a few seconds, the crystals began to fall of his tail, paws, and cheek, and he released a sigh of relief as he carefully gathered the crystals up in a bundle. - Lobby Spirit padded into the lobby, grateful that the sharp crystals no longer pierced his pelt. "Hello." Spirit said as he made his way to the counter, greeting the cougar who seemed to be coughing. "I'm Spirit. Just got here a while ago. He cocked his head, unsure how time worked in the mysterious town.

'Jari 'Jari heard someone else talking but she couldn't tell what he said through her coughing, but she could tell that he just came into the inn, so she turned to look at him, raising one of her paws to wave at him. "Hey." She wheezed before continuing to coughing again. "Too bitter.." She groaned, trying to best to stop herself from coughing so she doesn't get a sore throat.

Torka chuckled a bit as she poured a mug for the newcomer, her ears perked in amusement. "I should have warned y'all not to guzzle it! The hops in The Rotten Forest are interesting and seem stronger than the ones I used to work with back home. That's what makes it so bitter I think... but it's all just muscle memory, and was before I came here." She smiled to herself as she put Spirits mug down and poured another pitcher for everyone, flattening her ears as she reminisced. "My dad taught me how to brew and passed away shortly after. I could never bring myself to change the recipe so it's all routine." She grinned as she put the second pitcher down and nodded to you all. "Enjoy, let me know if anyone would like a meal."

Moth flicked her ear. Well that was sudden. She noted the beer but didn't take a mug. " I'm Moth by the way," She said to Jari and Adria.

Astroya finished her mug of before before leaving the party to get some food from Torka. "Could I get some fish and chips?" She asked, feeling her stomach clawing at her despite her earlier meal. 'It'd be a good idea to eat anyway,' she thought.

Torka nods to you happily and begins preparing the meal, her tail wagging slightly as she hummed to herself. She soon presents you with a steaming plate of fish and Chips with tar tar sauce, humbly taking your payment. "Enjoy." She said sweetly. -You've spent 3 pinecones-

"Thank you," she nods taking the tray and walking back to the party to eat her meal. She watches everyone and suggests they get something to eat as well. She slowly eats her meal, crunching the chips as quietly as she can before moving into the fish. It wasn't something she usually ate but it seems to be pairing well with the drink she had just finished off, which is what she was hoping for. Soon enough her tray was empty and she was left with a mug and tray to take back to Torka. She took them over to her and set them on the counter, letting her know they are there before once again returning to the party as they wait for another to join them.
