Merlin | Alph | Male | M: Echo and Night He lashed his bushy tail. He barked "Arlight fan out. I want us to keep an eye distance of each other. You see a prey. Catch it and let us know." Merlin moved finding a cave in his eyesights. His head tilted trying to get a better look.
(this sucks but Merlin's group posted. But I'm having some writer's block and watching a movie)

Sable/Female/subordinate/m: Direclty: Star, Jeraboa, and Timber Sable took a deep breath, taking in the faint, earthy scent of the plains mingling with the fresh water nearby. The idea of exploring this uncharted land filled her with a mixture of excitement and caution. She couldn’t help but scan the group one last time, her eyes lingering on each member to make sure they were alert and prepared for the task. “Remember,” She said, her voice steady, “we stick together, no matter what we find. This isn’t familiar ground, so let’s keep our wits about us.” As they started toward the river, Sable took the lead, her paws moving carefully over the uneven ground. She glanced back at Star, Jeraboa, and Timber, grateful to have them as her team. Sable constantly had her eyes peeled for any sign of potential danger – whether it was a predator’s track, sharp rocks underfoot, or anything else that could pose a threat to them or cause injury. Her mind buzzed with possibilities, wondering what lay further along the river, whether there would be a safe spot to rest, or even a sheltered area. “We should look for signs of fresh prey too,” Sable murmured, half to herself and half to the others. “If we find any small prey animals, it could be a good opportunity to hunt. We don’t know when the next chance will come, and it’s better to be prepared.”

Star/Female/subordinate/M: Sable, Jeraboa & Timber (directly) She nodded in response, her ears twitching as she picked up on a rabbit, tapping the ground in a specific pattern to let them know as she crouched low. She tracked it a bit then froze, her limbs tense as she got ready to pounce then sprang, her jaws immediately crushing the large rabbit’s neck and she gave a satisfied grunt. “this should at least feed my group!” She brought it back to the others, taking a leg for herself and setting the rest down to be split among the others.

Deverick - M - Subordinate - Mention(s): Anubis, Lidiya ~ His legs weren't feeling any better, and his marching band was now in time with his jelly legs. The good news - if there was any - were that his thirst was gone. If that was any better. Anubis quietly stalking ahead and lying down in a shaded little area in a clearing they had come to was practically an invitation for Deverick to get there on legs that really hurt, and flop down the moment he reached there. "Are you alright?" His half-sister's bark made him look blearily upwards at her, despite his legs - which were really killing him at this point - screamed at him to not move. "I'll be alright." Repeating the words that he had spoken what felt like a dozen times now, he tried to assure himself that he was alright. Although, he wasn't sure if he really was. His half-sister's mouth tightened slightly - the only indication that she was worried for him. "Stay here with Anubis. I'll go find something." She must be really worried, if she's doing things for me, Deverick thought as he nodded, and in the pain and heat either passed out or fell asleep. He couldn't tell. He was already unconscious.

Lidiya - F - Subordinate - Mention(s): Deverick, Anubis (ind: Merlin) ~ Lidiya could see, despite her younger brother's certainties, that he was most definitely not alright. Never had he stumbled and almost fell so many times in quick succession, only to right himself on what looked like painful legs and pretend it never happened. While Lidiya may not have exactly agreed with her younger half-brother at times, she was honour-bound to look after him. Right now, he was definitely not alright. Which meant, as Anubis silently led them towards a shady den space, instead of quietly talking away with Anubis on the silly Alpha's orders, she was hanging back with her half-brother. "Are you alright?" Deverick didn't seem to be alright, from the way he flopped down right next to the entrance. For that, Lidiya honestly had no clue why. She was alright - the rest of the pack seemed fine. Deverick just seemed to be getting hit the most - either from the sedatives, the sunshine, the heat, or a mixture of them all, she couldn't tell. "I'll be alright." Her brother didn't want her help, she could tell. Either that, or he had told so many of the others the same thing that he couldn't tell anymore. Either way, he was quite clearly lying from how he had been treating his legs the entire journey. Lidiya quietly cursed Merlin under her breath for making Deverick go this way, out of all ways. Couldn't he have gone some easier route instead? "Stay here with Anubis. I'll go find something." Screw what Anubis thought at the moment - she cared for her younger brother, despite all of her outward appearances. Right now, he needed a bit of assistance. She loped off, looking for something that she could carry in her mouth long enough to bring back to him. She was worried, definitely. Worried enough that she was doing things for him where she usually never would have. But then, it wasn't every day that her younger brother could barely walk.

Jeraboa - Male - Low ranked subordinate - M: Star, Sable, Timber Jeraboa limped after Star and Sable. He noses Timber and smiles. "Let's get a move on. Don't let me slow you down. I don't know about you, but I want explore all of it." He says. Picks up the pace and goes to Stars rabbit. He takes a singular leg from self, and walks off. Still in sight, but not in everyone's face. He stretches his leg out slightly as he says. Just make sure it doesn't bonk anything. He wants bonked against his other leg, it was not fun.

Recon | Beta | Male| M: Doji & Kiran The beta picked up his pace a bit, almost looking like he was holding back his desire to stretch his legs and get out the energy he'd kept bottled up. "Depends, are either of you hungry?" He asked, "Better question, do you both feel up to the hunt?" Lean muscles rippled under his fluffy pelt and there was a certain bounce to his stride that threatened to expose his curiosity and excitement for a new adventure. Once he noticed what he was doing, he quickly stamped it down, slowing his pace ever so slightly so Kiran could catch up.

Sable/Female/Subordinate/M: Directly: Star, Jeraboa and Timber. "Thank you, Star,” Sable says, grateful as she takes a small piece of the rabbit for herself and gives the rest to Timber. She wanted to make sure everyone got something to eat before they continued. Only now did she realize how hungry she actually was. She could feel the hollow ache in her stomach, gnawing for more, but she held back, choosing to savor the taste of the rabbit. The warmth and richness of the meat grounding her. As she chews slowly, Sable looks around at the others. Star’s quick catch had brought them together, even if only briefly, offering a moment of comfort. It felt like a small reminder of their old life back at the sanctuary. She lets out a soft sigh, appreciating this little moment of normalcy. As she finishes eating, Sable lets herself relax for a moment. She notices that the others seem more at ease after the meal too. She starts cleaning the blood off her paws. She realizes how rare moments like these would become now that they were on their own, and she wants to take it in fully before they have to move on.

Doji | Subordinate | Female | M: Recon and Kiran Her eyes saw Kiran looking at her of his eager face as he caught a scent. She shook her head with a smirk. She moved along spotting a red fox with three fox cubs behind her. The mother fox froze looking at her and warned her cubs with screech as they ran into a nearby burrow. The sight sent Doji back as a young wolf dog. Back to younger Doji as a a year old. Doji was sitting in an indoor kennel. After a surgery, X-rays and shots to help her. She was pissed off and angry. She had bitten three humans so far. She was out for blood. Then her ears perked as she heard them speaking. Though Doji could barely understand what they were saying, she focused attentively trying to block out the anxiety medicine that they had been pumping into her system. “Subject 181 has shown her signs of fertility are low to none… Though we decided as veterinarians that she will keep her reproductive organs to see if any miracle pups will happen..” “What will happen if she does get pregnant..” “Future litters will only be of 2 max. Her organs are almost hostile to any living subjects. Though if she does become a mother. Hopefully it’ll be in the sanctuary..Good thing it's not genetic to pass down.. She just got the short end of the stick.. “Why’s that Doctor?” “The pregnancy itself will be very hard on her body.. She will need to rest at all times. Monitor any movement that she does.. At first her body will be fine. But as the pregnancy progresses it will weigh her down.. Her behavioral changes will be most likely aggressive and anxiety, though those are most female dogs. Some dogs may have morning sickness. Though I'm worried that she will die and the pups will die or have no mother. So if she’s in the wild, if the experiment does happen.. Hopefully she will overcome these obstacles..” Doji lowered her head to her stomach and pinned her ears to the information she had received.. present: Doji shook her head, clearing the memory. Her darkest secret that she kept from everyone. Maybe it was why she was so blunt and cold to others. She didn't have the prosperous meaning of life. She would be a curse to her future love, and perhaps why she runs from the possibilities. A stain of own legacy for something that was out of her control. She turned her back on the mother fox with an emotionless face, but a small shred of sadness in her amber eyes. She heard the fox scamper off towards the burrow to protect her offspring. She didn't dare look at the other males' faces as her emotions would fail her. Doji shook her head trying to shake off the thoughts and memories that kept popping in her mind like a needless reminder. Doji thought she had accepted her own fate, but all it takes is a subtle reminder of what she would be missing out on. Did she care? Of course. But Doji believes if she doesn't care for so long then it would eventually be something she didn't care about. The one thing she lied to herself on a day to day basis. Her eyes closed trying to block the tears that threatened to dare her face. She heard the males talk and h the en chase after some sort of prey. Her eyes admired their athletic bodies or atleast one. She shook her head like an idiot to find something for herself. Her eyes spotted an otter that was away from the river. Close enough to the river but far. She licked her chops slowly creeping up to the creature. Her paws light as her stealth made silent but deadly. She snatched the otter in her jaws with a loud shriek. Her eyes were glazed with excitement as she heard the fox was out of its dinner. She looked down at the otter in her jaws and lightly tossed it. As she watched the fox hesitantly go up to it. She watched it drag it to her cubs that were tipping in hunger. Doji slowly moved away to watch Recon and Kiran hunt. She saw Kiran offer her a rabbit. Her appetite was lost after watching her painful memories slide back into motion. She barked “Thank you Kiran. But you have it. I'm not really hungry at the moment..”
